We love it and our little orphans are already rehearsing the choreography. The melody follows the old spiritual "David McDonald had a farm, ee I ee i o", doesn't it? Our petting zoo also loves the chorus, and the goats and ducks in particular always chime in, while our sugar cane-stealing, very smart baby elephant beats the rhythm again and again with its trunk... @dream-of-pain sings the second part with her beautiful alto voice.
I'm sure @bil-daddy will love it too.

I hereby formally request to replace Dr. Suess day in schools for Phineas and Ferb Day.
Dr. Suess day is celebrated on the author's birthday March 2.
Phineas and Ferb Day is celebrated on the 76 day of school. Or the day where there are 104 day until summer vacation. The reason for this being there are 104 days til Summer vacation, like the title song.
Dr. Suess. A Problematic person to say the least.
Phineas and Ferb. Not Problematic. Smart, kind, and respectful. A friend to all. They are literally friends with the nerd AND the bully. They get kids interested in S.T.E.AM, Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math by doing fun projects. They are active and don't laze their Summers away. They clean up after themselves. Modern kids love them. They are the perfect role models.

Phineas and Ferb has so many great characters. But of course, we’ve always got our favorites. These three mean the world to me, and I decided they would definitely be the part of PnF I would honor for the Tenth Anniversary ^^
I first saw PnF the day it premiered, August 17, 2007. It was unlike anything I had ever seen before. I hadn’t seen very many cartoons before then, and never knew that cartoons could be so hilarious and so bizarre. It felt like a world I’d always needed in my life, one I instantly connected to. It was a while before I was able to watch the show again since I didn’t have television, and a couple years later I bought all the episodes on iTunes to enjoy. Cue bingewatch, and subsequent devotion of life to the show.
I owe so much to this show. The Flynn-Fletcher family became my family, and their house, my home. This show got me writing way too much. Drawing even more than I used to. Helped me realize my passion for cartoons. Made me into a merch maniac buying up everything I possibly could and surrounding myself with plush Perries. I’m known as the “Perry girl” pretty much everywhere I go. I’ve met so many great people, amazing friends, because of this show.
I love the kindhearted humor, the wonderful characters, the colorful world. The show has so much heart and care put into it, and it really shows. It’s got something for everyone. It’s a celebration of childhood and all the adventures and imagination that come along with it. A show that knows kids are smart and won’t talk down to them. A show that can be enjoyed by absolutely every age group. A heartwarming, hilarious, wonderful show.
It’s been ten years. I’m twenty now. The Perry kingdom in my room continues to grow. I’m still posting quality Phineas and Ferb memes to my blog. I’m still screaming the lyrics to You Snuck Your Way Right Into My Heart every time it comes on. Why? Because Phineas and Ferb is timeless. It’s forever. And once it’s in your heart, it stays there. That’s the kind of power it has. It’s rare. It’s special. It’s truly one of a kind.
Ten years ago, lightning struck. We’re so lucky to have something so amazing. Happy Ten Years to the greatest thing ever.
