My mind has yet to allow me rest.

Today was fairly productive. I spent time at my parent's workplace making a deal and planning some events with the owner. Then I spent the rest of my day indulging in marketing; catching up on my course and scheduling some posts on a ministry's social media accounts. I knew today wasn't going to be as productive as the days that I work in office, but the mere fact of not doing more than that haunts me.

Nevertheless, it was a day well done. I look forward to tomorrow.

Sometimes I think about how in 8th grade I decided to read a book from the least visited book shelf in my school library. It was in the corner and was filled with books with no specific order of placement. I think about how I picked up the book with a dragon on it, the pages seem to be intact but the book was visibly old. Sometimes I would watch the rain and birds thought the window while I reading. This was the time when I would quickly eat my lunch to go spend some time in the library alone. I wish I could go back in time to relive these days.

sleep: 6,5 hours (to my own amusement, I feel quite rested)

sleep factors: soda before bed, unfamiliar sleeping place

to do for today:

• four paired lessons;

• one lesson with a student;

• arrange time for the lesson;

• create the lesson plan;

• hang clothes from the washing machine on a dryer;

• when guests leave, move with all my stuff from the friend’s room back to mine.

I still feel exhausted and it's so hard to bring myself to do anything for work. There's a few things I should get done but I just can't. Luckily I have a week off. I'll have to work a few days but there'll also be time to relax.

26 • 10 • 22 | Day 2

Work Hours

I didn't get any work outs in this morning as well, but I did manage to hit 9k steps again today (which, of course, I subtract 1-2k from since it's never really accurate) at work. I worked from 9am-5pm with my only boost of energy coming from coffee I had in the morning and the constant humming of Steven Universe soundtracks. I'm gonna count this as work too since I did it as soon as I got home and I've done it before at work; I helped my mom out with making some breadfruit balls for a catering job she got for Saturday.

Class Hours

There were no classes today. I genuinely went back and forth with wanting to practice math on my own or waiting for the next class, which is tomorrow, since that'll be the class that we actually start doing math. I settled with waiting until tomorrow since I really needed some sleep (got 3 hours in alone the night before)

Personal Hours

I took my last shower of the day, brushed my teeth, made my bed, and laid there scrolling through Tumblr and listening to music. I attempted to write a poem as well after spending almost an hour reading some of Charles Bukowski's poems from the collection Love is a Dog from Hell.
