we truly live in such a cruel world. why make messenger bags look so cool but be so impractically painful? is the immense shoulder pain worth the aesthetic?

#two pro tips from a former messenger bag user:#1) if you're carrying more than like. two notebooks and some pencils. don't use a messenger bag #if you have to carry around a laptop. forget about it. the bag isn't worth the pain.#2) if you're already using a messenger bag for the love of god shorten the strap #it should rest at your hip or higher. trust me you will save yourself so much pain and bad posture #i knew someone who used a massive messenger bag (FULL of stuff. so so heavy) and kept it almost down to their knees #and i knew that shit had to be painful.
