thinking about how the moon knight system are probably such gentle partners. the way they would love would be crafted especially for you, each of the men adding their own differences to their approach to love. one thing’s for sure, days off would be spent wrapped in each other’s arms on the couch as you watch television. they would be able to feel a sense of normalcy, one that would begin to heal old wounds and wash away worries of the past. a sense of belonging, warmth, and the ability to live in the present moment would wash over them just by having the chance to be a gentle lover to you.

Thinking a lot about Hetty (everyone gasps in surprise!!!!!) and just. Spinning in circles about how awful she can be ugh ugh ugh I love her character so much.

She was this upperclass woman who died and now is stuck amongst the commoners, but instead of her learning through being shown their friendship and life stories and affection to view them as equal to her, despite them becoming her friends and her family and her clearly loving and caring about them, she never elevates them to being equal to her in status (excluding Isaac) and instead views herself as having stooped down to their level. Instead of realizing class is stupid, she still very much views herself as inherently above all of them because of her former status, she clings to that hierarchy, specifically because it puts her on top, it lets her keep her self inflated sense of power and control...she views herself as having been tossed down to the unwashed masses. And she has fun! She enjoys it! She loves them! But she still cannot bridge that gap in her mind and it is SO good and makes complete sense.

It’ll be interesting to see if any of this changes after last episode now that someone has finally and firmly told her “Hey. thinking about me (us) like that is not okay. You can't treat me like that and expect me to keep being in a whatever-this-is with you” because previously they've always just kind of rolled their eyes at her, but she’s finally been like...punished? Has had something taken away from her as a result of her being cruel in this way and this is really the only way Hetty is able to learn things- she has to be Directly Told “this is bad, and this is whym and I am mad at you, and you need to change your behavior and apologize to me.” or she cant work it out on her own, and even then she still misses half the point!! Ohhh hetty. It’s very possible that for her “she gets it but only slightly” trend to continue, she now only views TREVOR as being on the same level as her in terms of worthiness and has not understood “ALL of my friends are on the same level as me”. Sigh. Love this bitch. Its just so fun to see her laughing & dancing around & playing with & clinging to them all, and then she can turn around in the same instant and call them peasants and think shes the boss of everyone, and that they’re oh so lucky she graces them with her presence lol (hits her over the head)

The aspects of her character that make her awful are my favorite, like she’s fun to soften up, especially in fic, but her maintaining these realistic rich socialite personality traits & thought patterns & watching her slowly unlearn them through her friends help (GOD she is so lucky the other ghosts love her enough to take her by the hand) but she is DIGGING HER HEELS IN AND SCREAMING the entire time about it. Oh, Hetty.
