How I think of Black Butler ending:

After defeating Undertaker, Sebastian and Our!Ciel where on some place far away, and O!Ciel wanted his death as painful as was he has gone through. Then, after Sebastian devoured his master's soul, he probably felt so deligthed as he finally achieved his goal, but he felt so lonely and start to mourn him, and probably the first tine he felt human emotion which I imagined him crying for the first time and he probably confused why a demon like him crying and he can't stop the tears from falling, he also gone through the five stages of grief which is impossible since he is a demon, but soon he will accept the fact that he is immortal and humans don't live longer like he is.

Cue to time skip, set place in modern time. He probably still dressed up as a butler but he has a new contractor which probably either reincarnated version of Our!Ciel or someone who was related to the Phantomhive, and the chapter ended with his famous cathcphrase "I'm simply one hell of a butler."

Rewatching Demon Slayer season 1:

Giyuu saying that he should have been there sooner is a pretty stupid idea but he wouldn't know yet

I totally forgot this first fight against a demon

Nezuko sleeping to recharge is such a mood

Genya just went straight to the white haired child (coincidence? I think not!)

hearing Genya scream about wanting a katana is kind of sad

Did Muzan hypnotize this woman and child and pretend that he's the father

Or, did he seriously somehow had a child?? Was that explained somewhere? 😨

Episode 8 is full of comedic gold (Yushiro's obsession with Lady Tamayo and Nezuko rolling around on the floor)

Nezuko seeing Tamayo and Yushiro as humans is soo sweet

Tanjiro fighting with broken ribs really sets the tone for all future fights

Damn Zenitsu is almost unbearable at the beginning

The father spider demon being abusive towards the mother shows some problems in Ruis past home life, the same goes for himself (at least that's how I see it)

I didn't know they already showed Kaigaku in a flashback

Muzan was just straight up projecting onto Rui

Finally confirmed my suspicion that the Hashira shot in the opening shows them clearer after they got introduced

The Sanemi Nezuko square off during the Hashira meeting only makes a real impact when you know of his marechi blood

Muichiros aim with the stones is really good

Kanaos interaction with the kakushi is so funny

Shinobu just sent off Rengoku 😢, they knew exactly what they were doing with this scene 😬

The infinity castle is pretty epic

They teased that Genya is different by noticing the difference in his smell🤔

Tanjiro just giving everyone a reason for character development

what is your favorite demon slayer arc?

ouuhhgg this is. a Really hard question actually. because iam so full of love for pretty much all of them WAHAHAH

if im being honest (sticking mostly to the anime to be fair,) its pretty evenly split btwn season 1 and 2 for completely different reasons, even though thats kind of a cop out answer bc. Three Seasons. but i do what i want.

season 1 was just so deeply, Deeply charming in every way-- things were new and novel and Scary!!! it really does a good job of introducing a "new world," ESPECIALLY with the starting arcs of the season. it felt really personal for all the characters, and because it's mostly focused on the kamaboko squad, you can really feel the way their bond and their own arcs start to grow!

watching the kamados adapt to the new way their world looked was ridiculously fun, and i would kill t get to really go into their bond like that again. how much they care abt each other just bleeds into their every word and action, and watching the way they adjust themselves around to support each other is just. shakes fist. cries... iam also ridiculously fond of The Boys(tm) fooling around with each other too. seeing how they get used to each other and grow comfortable is so so ridiculously sweet.

also bonus points for having susamaru in it.

and season 2, honestly? i just feel like its just. The Best One. stunning visuals, excellent setup, fantastic payoff-- like. i can barely find any specific thing to point at because all of it just feels like one really solid experience! uzui and the wife brigade were ridiculously fun to watch in action, and seeing the kamaboko squad fall into a stable rhythm working with each other is So delightful.

daki and gyutaro are insanely fun to watch villains-- especially daki, she is such a cool character and everything about her is Literally Iconic, i fucking adore her. and then the setup for the parallel of the kamados and the shabanas-- and how it plays off of the buildup of the series' themes as a whole! its just a completely fantastic time!!!!

after all that happens in mugen train, what that means for the cast-- seeing them fight that hard and win is so so satisfying-- the stakes feel Real! the horrors feel Real! the victory is Real!!!!

also its the one that has zankyou sanka in it and honestly i think it wins on that account alone.

The feeling of hopelessness au (kny au)

beware of my grammar incorrections and spellings.. enjoy some angsty stuff and bits of badass zen shhdhd

•This au doesn't follow the og canon story, some have major story changes and some arcs are just kept there untouched.

•Zenitsu is suffering an unknown illness like a terminal illness and he kept it a secret from everyone, that includes the kamaboko gang and anyone else but ofc some knew it (that's shinobu and maybe inosuke and nezuko)

•Idk like how he got the illness from either a powerful demon art or he was born with it or when he got struck by lightning (which totally don't make any sense hshshs)

•yes, this au has TanZen and with lots angst but tan and zen aren't together yet and also never will be cuz y'know */coughs

major character death-

•Tanjiro is oblivious of his feelings for Zenitsu but he slowly realizes them and he keeps questioning what is this feeling.. As for zen, though he is more oblivious, he thinks tanjiro likes kanao (but nah a only as a friend lmao) and he just kept his feelings to himself..

•The timeline is very messy asf but it goes like this, nothing changes with s1 and Mugen train arc. All i can say is that zens illness gets worse throughout the arcs till the fight with muzan also like to add that he fought Kaigaku earlier in this au and his gramps is uhh ye not very alive…

•But zen died cause of his illness and his injuries from the demon and ofc he killed the demon (we stan badass zen)

I'll probably make more stuff for this au cuz yes-
