i liked quantumania well enough, i don't know why the critics are giving it a low score. i thought it was fine. it had a tight plot. didn't overrun with jokes. there was no big plot twist or anything, but that was because the plot was incredibly thin and pretty straight-forward. there was nothing i disliked about it, but also it's not a movie that sticks to the mind for longer than the time you're watching it

the MODOK twist was an actual twist. not a plot twist, just a 'oh shit. that's clever'. a rare one for marvel
there is gonna be SO much tentacle and/or slime porn of this movie. SO much. the moment the faggots of twitter get a WHIFF of this... it's over. that little red blob is gonna be sucking scott lang's dick down to the ROOT
scott lang has "seven holes" which to me confirms that scott is trans.
absolutely hilarious that the mcu has 30 movies but it took them to this one to have one (1) telepath. and it's. fucking. chidi anagonye. in the quantum realm. not even a regular ass telepath on earth. it's a guy who's never gonna show up again

idk if it's bc they didn't give her the full script or anything but ms kathryn newton was phoning it in, like, half her scenes. she was NAWT invested in this character.
i do like that she basically called scott a spineless liberal in the first ten minutes of the movie, though. also the ants accidentally inventing socialism????
didn't like that scott's ex-wife and her husband didn't show up though :(
my final thought is that i thought the big final confrontation was unnecessary. i thought the movie would have been way more fun if it had ended with them implying that kang got torn apart and/or eaten alive by giant, sentient, socialist ants.

After Thanos is defeated - thanks to the mysteriously missing Time stone, Tony can’t wait to dive into his retirement plans. He buys a nice little penthouse apartment, moves in his bot family and with the new Avengers taking care of business now, he can finally rest his weary body and haunted mind.
Powerful relics don’t just disappear into thin air though, and he soon finds out that the view and the piano are not the only things he bought along with his new home.
It’s not like realtors would come clean about annoying, medieval-looking ghosts that keep showing up, claiming this is their home, their piano and that they are most certainly not dead.
