TBB Ep 10 Thoughts
Spoilers for TBB Season 2
Today on The Bad Batch, child slavery!
Let's get into it.
The way Wrecker stares at the part that fell off the speeder for a second and then falls back. 🤣
The timing of that cracked me up.
They're gonna try and fit all 4 of them on one speeder???
GONKY IS HOW THEY FIND THE MARAUDER?!
Omega being a smart bean. 🥰
Honestly, the amount of Gonky in this episode makes me so happy!!!
Excuse me, but Mokko is not the metal-handed guy that I wanted to see.
ALL OF THEM BALANCED ON THE SPEEDER HAHAHAHA
"That's our defective power droid"
Fuck yeah it is!
Don't mess with Gonky. The dads will come after you. 😠
Wrecker activated Intimidation Mode ™️
Okay, yeah, cool, we're all just gonna abseil down a chimney, sure.
That seems totally safe. 😐
"Plenty of time". Omega's so one of them omg. 😭 She's grown so much. 🥲
That brief slow-mo when Hunter falls forward. 😍
Than animation this season is so good!!!
Ngl, them all sticking their faces over the chimney stresses me out.
Smooth take-down from Hunter, there!
Mokko is a dick. 😡
I'VE JUST REALISED THAT THIS IS WHAT JENNIFER'S CRYPTIC TWEET WAS
Omega's head poking out from the oversized coat! 🤣🥰
Bitch, you did not just press that button. YOU DID NOT JUST PRESS THAT BUTTON!
Omega giving Benni her ration even though The Batch don't have much food. 😭
Wrecker hanging upside from the ship is one of my new favourite things.
Okay, I understand why Benni did what he did. I'm still pissed though. 😤
All the stuff about kids not being able to just be kids in this galaxy is so sad. 😭
Sorry, did Mokko really expect his "let's make the Batch work in the mines for a decade" plan was gonna work???
Although, he does say something about if they survive that long, so best bet is he was just gonna leave them to die.
Like I said. He's a dick.
ALSO THREATENING TO THROW OMEGA OF THE PLATFORM?! HOW DARE YOU SIR!
He's actually lying to the kids and keeping the ipsium for himself? How surprising (note strong sarcasm).🤨
OMEGA THROWING HERSELF OFF WITH THE DROID BECAUSE SHE KNOWS HUNTER WILL CATCH HER 😭
That scene might be my favourite of the episode. Especially with the altered Bad Batch theme over the top.
Ngl, the fight with Mokko was underwhelming.
The guy literally fell over a railing by himself. 😭
Although he was also a pathetic dickhead so a pathetic end is kind of what he deserves.
WRECKER HUGGING GONKY!!! 🥰
Even though they were all in competition with one another, when it comes down to it, the kids actually do all care about each other. That's sweet.
Wrecker is reunited with Lula! 🥲
TECH AND OMEGA THIS SEASON ARE GIVING ME SO MANY FEELS!!!
Was hoping the Echo and Crosshair convo would carry on this episode but oh well.
Also, we never saw Tech and Wrecker apologise to each other. 🥲
Overall feeling about this episode is that I think it might be one of my least favourites of the season. I didn't dislike it but with how good the others have been, this episode didn't stand out a whole lot to me.
There were specific moments that I absolutely love though! Wholesome Batch moments just hit me right in the feels. 🥲
And Wrecker's "I'm working on it" reminded me of Echo in Season 1. 😭 I still miss that man.
Weirdly, I don't feel like I have much to say about this episode right now. There's some more stuff delving into the idea of kids not being able to just be kids in this galaxy, so I'm happy they're continuing on that narrative. I maybe would've liked to have seen a little bit more from the other miners? I don't know.
Normally when I watch an episode, one or two particular things sticks out to me as something I want to talk about more but I didn't really get that much from this episode. Think I may just have to sit on it for a few days and see what comes to mind.
Still liked the episode, but I definitely think that the first half of this two-parter was much stronger. Very excited to see what Metamorphosis is going to be about though! My hope is to see Echo and Rex again, but that's more wishful thinking than me believing it's actually going to happen. 😅
Edit: This was supposedly a breather episode, so that may explain why it fell a little flat for me. I think I got really hooked up in the more high-stakes episodes and that swayed my judgement on this one. 🤔

Um so I don't actually know how to submit a request so, I've never done it before, but I hope this is right.
So I read this enemies to lovers with Tech where the reader is the Batch's new mechanic/medic/pilot (y'know something like that) and Tech is constantly trying to outsmart the reader and is kinda rude to her. So I am requesting either that or Tech and reader are already together and Tech makes a comment that hurts the readers feelings but Tech doesn't understand why she's upset cause he was merely stating "factual evidence". Also can the reader be female or like no gender. I hope I did this right.
Time will tell
(Tech X F!Reader)
Oh yeah! Either way is good, but I prefer taking requests in DM’s. I’m originally from a different writing platform and I took requests directly in messages, but send in an ask like this is good too. I don’t mind either way. That goes for everyone else who doesn’t know how to send in a request!^^
I love the first one, and I have a little something for that
———
“And that’s… Tech” Hunter sounded disappointed as he seen his brother not only did not look up, but didn’t say anything as he introduced you to your new team, Tech just gave a small wave without looking up and walking off. “He’s a busy guy, I presume” you spoke, watching ‘Tech’ walk off and into their ship. “You’ll get use to him, he’s not all that bad. The worse he could do is fill your head with useless info for hours on end” Hunter explained while putting a hand between your shoulders, guiding you into the Marauder. Ok, so it might have been a bit small but at least you were off Kamino where everything was too sterile and creepy looking. You were all alone in your room after all, no one ever really came in but a few clones, Nala Se and Omega usually handled them all though.
You gave another look around, making sure you tried to memorize everything. “We have a mission in a few hours, so I suggest you grab what you need from your place” “oh, no. I’ve got all I need, I’m going to head back and tell Nala Se we’re leaving soon” you walked out, Hunter nodded in agreement. “Well, we’ll tell you when we’re ready” you nodded, walking away from the ship and back into Kamino to Nala Se
Tech had only ever heard your voice, and by the sound of it. He was already annoyed, since when was there ever another person who does exactly as he does? It was only him, but.. the thought of sharing ideas and thought with someone else ‘smart’ would be nice. But no, he wouldn’t take it. He had to see for himself, he was sure you were going to fail, and he surely wasn’t going to be pushed aside, especially for all he’s ever done for his brothers. You weren’t the one who upgrades their armor for them, you’re not the one who has a datapad much like he has, and you couldn’t possible know anything about mechanics. He’s never met anyone who knew as much as he did, and if he hasn’t within his life, then there’s probably no such thing as it.
He thoughts were cut short, when you sat in the co-pilot seat next to him. Only Echo sat there, maybe Hunter on some occasions, he still didn’t look, and he grew annoyed as you tried to tell him what to do. “Do you even know what planet we are on?” Tech asked, finally looking at you, “what does that have to do with this? You haven’t told me where we are and I’m stuck with you. So if you could just focus on the task at hand then maybe we could actually try and get along” you spoke, his eyes widen at your words, he didn’t want you to know anything. It may sound selfish, but he thought of it as a training, I guess you could say. How would you go about in a situation where you don’t know where you’re at, and what you’re doing? What is your next steps for an unexpected change of plans?
His gaze was still hard on you, how could you know something about flying? “Tech, if you don’t help them, Omega and Hera could be shot down” you sounded desperate, but he was the one in charge. He was the one flying, you weighed your options, you didn’t know what to do. He only sat there, observing you like it was his job. “Forgive me” you apologized to him as you pushed him out the seat and took over the wheel. “Hey” Tech called from the floor, standing up, but soon holding onto your seat as he seen what you were going to do. “Hang on Wrecker!” You warned the man in the back, you pushed the petal as Tech almost flew back and Wrecker yell from the back. You turned the ship around for Wrecker so he could take out the cannons.
Tech held on as your flying was not something he was expecting, once you had all of the turrets down and Wrecker finished off the clones on the ground, you stood up, grabbing your helmet and gun. Tech grabbed your arm before you ran out, “hey-” you spoke, “careful with my ship next time” he glared at you, but Wrecker broke the both of you up by running through his grasp on your arm. “Your ship Tech? Or all of ours? She did great!” Wrecker said, hitting you on your shoulder as he laughed and ran off. “Still, we got what needed to be done, I suggest we drop this.. this argument and actually help. And for your information, we’re al Ryloth” you ran after Wrecker, and Tech stood there. You were stubborn alright, but that doesn’t mean you were better than him. No, he won’t allow it
After Hera was reunited with her parents and uncle, you all took off. For their brother Crosshair was after them, maybe even you now since you were with the Batch. Taking a deep breath in, and letting it out, you continued to clean your helmet, a few new scratches, but nothing bad. “Y/n?” Omega asked you, coming up and holding your shoulder as she stood on one leg. “What’s wrong Omega?” You asked, looking at her leg, “I got a cut, and my legs hurting. Could you look at it for me?” She asked, sitting on the chair in front of you as she turned to meet your body. “Yeah, let me just grab my stuff, stay right there” you told her as you stood up, walking to grab your bag and come back. You pulled her pants up to her knee, seeing a small scrape on it, “hmm, you only scraped it, nothing too bad if we clean it. Glad you came right on time” you tried to lift her mood up. Looking like you did since she laughed and held Lula.
“This might sting a little, but it won’t hurt” you showed her the bottle, calming her down as she was worried what you had in hand. She gave a small nod, handing it back to you, you smiled and slowly poured the liquid over the cut. She winced, hugging Lula tighter as you grabbed a bacta pad and placed it over her knee. “Alright, that should be good. Come back later for another cleaning, I’ll remind you so don’t worry, and if the ache still continues after a few minutes. Tell me so I can give you some medicine, it might be from all the time you haven’t treated it, but be careful next time” you pulled her pants down, patting her lower leg as she set it down. “So you aren’t going to treat the ache she has?” Tech asked, datapad obviously in hand as he watched you, “Tech! She cleaned it up just now, I should be fine. I think it was just dirty” Omega spoke, Tech looked at her, the back at you, he walked over to another seat, making Omega face him as he turned the chair. “What are you doing?” Omega asked as Tech pulled her pants up again.
Taking the tape off and looking at her scrape, he almost nodded in approval, but stopped himself. “Oh come on, I’m not going just throw a bacta pad on there and say I’m done” you told him, “still, you could have left out an important part” he spoke, Omega watched, “and just because you’re a medic, doesn’t mean you know it all” he harshly said, you wanted to just leave, everyone’s been nice except for Tech, “yeah? Well just because your name is ‘Tech’ doesn’t mean you’re actually a technician. You can multitask yet I haven’t spoken one word about your work” you spoke up, gathering your things and leaving. Omega watched as it all unfolded before her, “that was a bit rude Tech, maybe try and be nice, she’s new. You’re probably making her feel bad” Omega defended you
Tech took his helmet off, watching you walk off and disappear down the hall. “Maybe we only needed one, medic aboard. That was only a small scratch Omega, anyone could treat that” he stood up, “maybe you think we only need one medic, but I think differently. You should respect her more, I came to her because you were busy making repairs, and I’m glad to have let you work while she wasn’t busy. She even helped us back on Ryloth” it wasn’t new that Omega put yet another one of her brothers in place. She was right, you did save them, and treat her. He bet, if she would have went to Wrecker, he would have only plugged it up with trash and dirt then throw a bandaid on it.
Omega walked out the cockpit, Lula in her hands as Tech was left alone. So what you knew how to fly and treat a small wound, anyone could do that… anyone who knew what they were doing. And he was intrigued at how much you knew and what you’ve done.
Everyone sat in their seat, you sat behind Echo as he sat in the co-pilot chair. Your hands gripping the pen as you worked an equation out on a piece of paper. Tech heard you whisper quite loudly the numbers, so he worked it out in his head as he watched the stars go by while in hyperspace. “205” he said, you looked up, sighing in annoyance and putting on a fake smile, “thanks Tech, I’m sure me working it out and trying a different way of solving this problem was to easy for you. What a pity, me working with pen and paper as you have a datapad? What was I thinking?” You scoffed out, Echo laughed a bit at your bite back. Tech turned to you, “what do you mean ‘a different way’?” He asked, you threw the paper at him as he caught it then glaring at you for doing so.
His eyes scanned over the numbers, this wasn’t right. None of this was, “give me the pen” he spoke, you looked at him, “what for?” “Just give me the pen” he demanded as you shook your head no. Echo was curious to see what you both were arguing about, his head peaked over the paper and was met with messy writings and scrambled numbers. “How can you read that thing?” You heard Echos disbelief in his voice, “here, I’ll explain it” you reassured him as you clicked the pen. Tech watched as you began to explain what this new trick was. He was fascinated, he found himself looking up your arm until he watched your face as you spoke about something that actually interested you… interested him.
He continued to hold the board with the paper on it for you while you worked it out, circling the answer. He wasn’t sure why, but when you turned to Echo to talk about it, he was quite jealous. Echo wouldn’t understand, but Tech did, why didn’t you argue with him about it. He hesitantly tapped two fingers on your shoulder, you turned and faced him, “perhaps, we could further discuss what you put into motion here? I could teach you some new things as well” he offered, Echo had seen his frail to finally try and get closer to you. He stood up, “excuse me” he walked off, giving you and Tech the time together. “Not sure, I feel like you’re only going to insult me further while thinking you’re smarter, you also offered me something. Don’t know if I should take it that you want something or you hit your head” you crossed your arms, looking at him. “I assure you, I have something’s I would like to share” he lightly laughed.
You thought about it, “fine, but if anything” you threatened him, “there no need to get hostile with me now Y/n, I want to see just how much you know” he leaned back into his seat, arms and legs crossed as he eyed you down. But if anything did happen, the Batch was on board. You sat in the seat Echo sat in before, questioning your choice on agreeing.
It seems Tech had underestimated you to soon, you we’re definitely smarter than he had thought. Was there actually someone just like him? Someone who he could rely on and wouldn’t have to explain too, mainly going into details. But you, oh you… you just gave him this feeling. He didn’t want you to leave the seat when you both sat, it was interesting seeing how you knew some things he didn’t. You both shared theories and facts about unusual things people would have probably brushed off and thought was annoying or just plain boring. He found himself moving ever so closer to you when you both started getting into.. deeper matters. What you did on Kamino versus what he does for the galaxy with his brothers. You told him how you wanted to get off the planet and explore while he suggested he explores all the time.
That was until you both found each other, knees touching while you both leaned forward. It was wrong, you abruptly stood up, “I’m sorry Tech, I shouldn’t have” you fixed your armor and set out. Just what happened there?
He didn’t have feelings for you, if he did. It’d most likely be jealousy and anger, for he didn’t want to be replaced for someone they had just met. He was their brother, you can’t just remove them from their life. Now you were off somewhere in the ship, probably have already forgotten about him. But his thoughts were stuck on you, was he too mean to you? Now that whenever he got close, you either brushed him off or you walked away. But what if he wasn’t, would you two have been closer? Together perhaps? It was like talking to himself, actually finding interest in the conversation. Feelings were never in his area of expertise, so he couldn’t exactly pinpoint what he was feeling at the moment. He was sure to keep an eye on it and write down anything he feels on his datapad, maybe even do some research.
“Y/n!” “Coming!” You replied to Echo as he yelled for your assistance. Walking down the hall to to Echo kneeling before the console trying to fix whatever he was trying to. “Yeah?” You asked, “I need..” he trailed off, trying to get the control panel fixed. “Oh! I’ve done this plenty of times back on Kamino for the clones’ ship when they got back” you spoke while kneeling next to him, undoing the wires as he looked at you, “what are you doing?” “Relax, you can’t just keep the control panel like this, you have to make sure it clean, this this part” you pointed to the corner of the panel as there was dirt inside, “that’s blocking this part, from entering. So brush this aside, and put it back. Now you’re going to want to make sure all the wires and whatnot are still good. Some could burn out and that could ruin the whole thing, and then you’d have to replace it all. But other times, it just needs a little cleaning” you walked him through it, telling him what goes where and how to clean the board without ruining it, while still making it easy for him to understand without using the big confusing words
He nodded, understanding, “Tech would never say anything like this. He does all the repairs like this, the only time he needs help is when he needs tools or for us to hold something” “Ah, I see. I’m sure he means well. I never had anyone to talk to about this and it feels good to finally share some knowledge” you told him to screw the panel back on. He stood up, offering you his hand and helping you up. “Thanks” “no problem, you learn something new everyday” Echo laughed at your joke, giving you a pat on the shoulder and walking off. You kneeled back down picking up the tools and gathering them into a bag. Another pair of hands helped you, as you looked up, you noticed he had no thigh armor. Tech.
“Thank you Tech, you didn’t have to-” you were pushed on your back as Tech was on top of you. You groaned at the pushed, opening your eyes to see Tech giving you a kiss. Your senses finally returning as you felt the harsh action, making your lips hurt. He softened the kiss, making you now blush as you laid there under him. He pulled back, “T-Tech?” You let out the breath you held in, “Y/n. I’m so sorry about before” your brow furrowed in confusion. “What for?” “All those words, bringing you down. It’s wrong now and it was wrong then, but how could I have not appreciated your actions before?” He questioned himself as you now remembered all those things he said and what he did to try and put you down.
“I can’t let someone, so good and loving leave. I’ve seen the way you treat Omega and my brothers when I’m not there too, you’re smart and beautiful. Yet you’re ready for battle when you’re thrown into it. I’ve been thinking, about my feelings, and… and us” your eyes widen at the last part. About, you? Him? Together? You haven’t thought about it, maybe once but that was when you both were talking that night in the cockpit, he was rude and unforgiving when you were introduced and given a task, always saying he knew and could do better than you. And that your tactics were sloppier than his, and to be frank, he didn’t mean that. It was his feelings he was confused about, “Tech.. I actually don’t know what to do. While you say you’ve thought of us, I haven’t, maybe once but that was wrong. We could never work out” you confessed, his gloved hand on the side of your head as he stroked a few hairs out of your face.
He sighed, thinking. This time it was his heart speaking, not his brain, this has nothing to do with what he normally did. So he had to wing it. “Tell me. What do I need to do to show you, how much I appreciate and want you by my side? Tell me what’s making you feel uncomfortable about us and how I can help. I’m willing to give this a chance if you are” he sounded desperate, the first time you’ve heard him like this. But you had to think on it, he was just as smart, maybe even smarter, he was blunt which made you not have to worry about his opinions on others and how you feel. And he was strong, both mentally and physically. You’ve never met someone as close knowing and interesting like you.
“I.. I’m willing to give this a chance as well” your hand came up to his hair, then pulling him down for another loving kiss. All those problems and feelings he couldn’t explain and work out, have now blown away. If seemed like being close to you felt like ecstasy, your aura felt so welcoming and warm. His lips ghosted over yours before coming down for another. This new found feeling was something he could get use to, yours lips felt so soft against his, your fingertips slightly trailed along his jawline and cupped his cheek. “We, better get up before someone sees us” you suggested, he nodded. A quick kiss on the side of your mouth was given before he got up. Pulling you along. He wanted to see where this relationship would take him.
He was excited to have you by his side now, he knew you two could take on anything. The thought of having someone just like him by his side put a warm feeling in his stomach, someone he could protect along with his brothers. Maybe the jealousy before was telling him something, maybe you both were destined to be together since you both could agree that you’ve never met anyone like the other. And he was glad to have someone to return to every time he came back from a mission, or having you on a mission with him in general. He already had hundreds of reasons why he fell in love with you, and if that’s just the beginning, he wondered what being with you forever would he like. Only time will tell

I hope you enjoyed, again! If you ever want to send it a request, I take it in DM’s for those who want to stay anonymous, but others can also go to my ask box. Either way is fine, I don’t mind!^^

A/N: Depression is so tough but I believe in you! If you ever need to talk then DM me, I'm here for you just like the Bad Batch are! I hope this is what you were hoping for! :3

The Bad Batch x Depressed!Reader
Plot: Facing depression, The Bad Batch help you through once they discover your struggle and help you attend your online class even if that does mean you all do it together. :)
Warnings: Depression and a little anxiety! Fluffy ending :3
Another great day cooped up in your bunk staring at the blank screen of your datapad, it was early and you had another online class to attend. With each second passing by, the ticking of time just felt angrier at you. You knew you had to attend the class but it was just so difficult to do so. What was stopping you? The crushing weight of anxiety against your chest or maybe the darkened clouds lurking within your mind making everything harder and harder. Sighing, you throw the datapad across your bed and drag your way through the attack shuttle, sitting in the co-pilot's seat beside Tech who gazed over at you rather confused. The boys on this ship were family and you adored them, they took you in and you became the youngest but most valued member of the team.
------------------
Online Class.
"Y/n?" He asked, putting the ship onto autopilot so he could turn to you, "Isn't there an online class you should be attending?" Whilst rolling your eyes crossed your arms. It wasn't that simple to just do it when there were so many things on your mind. Online class was the last thing to cross your mind so why was it the first on theirs?
"Don't feel like it." He hummed in response as Hunter walked in, ruffling your hair.
"Morning kid!" His cheery voice made you smile a little, even though the clark clouds were saying not to. "Haven't you got an online class to attend to?" With that you instantly stood, anger and upset taking over your body.
"Why is everybody so caught up on that?" You felt your legs pull You back to your bunk, throwing yourself against it and covering your head. You didn't want to move, why did it feel like everything was against you?
Hearing the door slide open you just sighed and curled up to yourself, searching for some sort of comfort.
"Hey, y/n? I heard that you got a little upset…" Echo's voice was filled with concern and love, his eyes gazing at your fragile seeming form before sitting on your bed beside you. "Are you struggling with classes, little one?" Tears were currently gathering in your eyes and you were doing your best to keep them from falling. It's not that you were struggling with classes, though they were difficult sometimes, it was just how everything felt so difficult to do. How even the smaller tusks like getting up and out of bed felt so overwhelming. "You know I'm here for you right? All of us are…" Those previous tears fell down your cheeks, sobs wracking through your body. Echo immediately held you in his arms, holding you safely and rubbing your back as the others ran in quickly due to the sound of your pain.
"Y/n hey hey, it's okay It's gonna be just fine." You heard Wreckers voice pipe up, Lula soon within your arms as Echo held you on his lap. Hugging her tightly you couldn't help but just cry a little more, this just felt so tough to explain. Crosshair soon sat beside Echo, moving strands of hair away from your eyes and rubbing your arm.
"We've got you... What's the issue, little one?" Even Crosshair's voice was filled with concern.
"Everything feels horrible, I'm sad constantly and online class just feels impossible so I've been skipping them…" In all honesty you had expected Tech to be upset with you, he was always so persistent about you leaning. He soon crouched before you, hads upon your knees to steady himself.
"That's understandable, things are tough lately hm?" You could only nod at his words in return, "That's okay, It's okay to be depressed - let's put you first okay? Kriff online class, let's do Tech's class!" You laughed lightly at his swear, Hunter slapping his shoulder and scolding him for swearing. "Ahem, my bad. But why don't we lend and look around for a while?" Nodding lightly, you offered him a light smile.
"Okay." With that he rushed away with his own Smile, leading the ship to a nearby quiet planet he just knew you'd love.
"My turn to hold them." You heard Cross speak as he held you in his arms with a soft smile. Echo pouted a little but nodded as he kept you safe.
"It's going to be alright, we're with you - things will feel better soon."
Time had passed and you were now being held by Hunter, Lula still in your arms once the ship had landed. Wrecker soon laughed and lifted you with ease, holding you on his shoulder eager to see the world around you all. Once you had stepped out, the warm sunshine hit your face in a greeting hug whilst the land before you practically shone in vibrant colours. Tech smiled after making Wrecker put you down, taking your hand and leading you to the tall grass that stood against the tree flowering above you.
"Depression is tough, but I wanted to show you that this universe holds many secrets and locations that are waiting for you. The world isn't just class, so I don't want you feeling bad for putting your health first." Nodding lightly, Tech took in a gentle breath, passing you a flower. "You're so important to us, I can't Stress that enough. Let's take things Step by step okay?" He gently tucked the flower behind your ear before chuckling as the others arrived, hands filled with a variety of flowers they had picked for you.
"Let us know when you're ready and we'll take the online class with you!" Wrecker smiled as he spoke, the sun still leaving you warm.
It wasn't until the next day that you were ready to take the class, but when you were the boys had squeezed onto your bunk with you which made your teacher confused, but they continued anyway. It was an eventful lesson in all honesty as Tech ended up correcting your teacher so much he hacked the class, muted the teacher and taught everybody himself. Crosshair had fallen asleep on you, Echo was beyond confused so you had to help him out. Wrecker had gotten himself a little too excited with yelling and cheering whilst Hunter was trying to keep them all under control. It felt better, the Cloud would heal soon and they'd stay with you and face it with you no matter what.

Cadet Training (The Bad Batch)
Words: 3166
Warning: None but a lot of hurt/comfort (I think)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cadet training for the clones was never easy. Although it was just about bearable for the regular clones. It was constant torment for Clone Force 99. They never got a day off from training like others did. From the moment they had been able to begin training, it had been non stop, a constant pressure to succeed, to obey the orders given or face punishment.
TECH Tech's training consisted of testing his knowledge. He'd be hooked up to an array of machines, some to monitor his brain waves, other his heart rate and blood pressure. Another that would give him a nasty shock. Once he was hooked up the testing began, he was normally given questions on the screens before him, he had a certain amount of time to answer them. If he succeeded, another question would appear. If he was to fail, he would receive a electric shock. If he ever asked for it to stop, the instructor would only up the power. Being sure to stop before he lost consciousness. As soon as the shocks stopped he was told to get back to his feet and continue. Maker help him should he ask for a bathroom break or any break in general. On the days he wasn't facing the quizzes, then he was normally dragged to the medical bay, to undergo horrendous scans. The worst part always being he could feel everything they did. The pain being unbearable, the few times he was able to get strangled words out, he was always calling for his brothers, begging them to make it stop and rescue him from the constant pain. He'd be poked and prodded with needles and other things as if he was a pin cushion. Normally thirsty and hungry as he would be denied food and drink for hours before these scans and tests. If he was to say he was hungry or needed a drink, he would be harshly told to be silent and wait.
When it was over it was a struggle to even walk, most of the time he used the walls to prop himself up on his way to where ever wanted to go. His words would be slurred, the best he could do with the splitting headache to be blurring his vision. He'd struggle to hold eating utensils when in the mess hall, only just being able to grip the cup to drink something. After a while he'd give up completely and settle for returning to the barracks, another night of going hungry. Crosshair would never allow it and always followed behind his younger brother, helping Tech along to ensure he got there safely. Upon making sure Tech got to his bunk, he retrieve a few ration bars, ensuring Tech didn't go hungry. WRECKER Wrecker's training wasn't as bad as his brothers to look at. He'd be constantly pushed to his limit with blasters, bombs and other explosives. Often being sent to the training rooms to test his skills against droids. If he was ever hit by one, the course would be reset until he got it right. Often times had he missed meal times because of this. He'd be forced to repeat the disarming over and over again, until he got it right first time. Yet he hated destroying things that had meaning to him. Like one time an instructor noticed his original tooka doll and picture of his brothers. Both had been stuffed into a metal box with little care, a detonator thrown in with them.
That day he'd been tasked with disarming an bomb within a time limit. If he succeeded, he'd get the things taken from him back. If he failed then the blast would destroy the small metal box and the things stuffed so carelessly inside. That day had broke Wrecker, losing the photo was like losing his brothers, he cried himself to sleep that night, believing he had failed them. Although a new Tooka doll had appeared on his bunk, a small tag in messy writing saying its name was Lula.
Wreckers worst training session by far was the one where he was training with blasters. He'd only spoken of his exhaustion and strains before then. But that day his trainer had dragged Hunter, Tech and Crosshair to the firing range. He been informed their lives were on the line this time, they would be on the firing range, between each target. If he missed any target his brothers would ended up being hit. Wrecker had protested as did his brothers, their lives were in his hands, he knew his brothers trusted him, but he didn't want that responsibility just yet. He didn't want to hurt them in any way.
He knew it would be difficult, with the trainer tying each of his brothers to a make shift stake between each target, blind folding them so they couldn't see what was happening. To Wrecker it was like they were set to be executed by firing squad, like they were the criminals and he was the executor, like he was the hand that would bring swift death. He tried so hard to protest against it, refusing, even when his train held a gun to his head, even when he was smacked in the face with the butt of the gun he still refused.
He eventually fired upon hearing the encouraging words of his brothers. Hearing they trusted him and believed him even when he didn't believe in himself. Although he had hit every target, he'd come dangerously close to each of them. A bolt had hit just to the right of Crosshair, mere inches from his shoulder, another had been close to hitting Hunter, the bolt hitting the wall above him, where as Tech's had missed by inches, instead hitting the floor in front of him. A comment or two had escaped the train's lips, yet nothing of support but instead patronizing him further, stamping out the confidence he had gained. Something to do with a gag for his brothers next time.
Tech, Crosshair and Hunter had all bared witness to Wrecker's beating that day. Tied helpless to the make shift stakes as he was beaten for his words in response to the sadistic trainer, beaten for standing up for himself and them. Despite their efforts to free themselves, they had been force to listen as Wrecker shouted for it to stop and screamed in agonizing pain when the side of his face was held to one of the metal containers, mere seconds before it exploded. The Trainer didn't seem to care, instead pulling the crying Wrecker to his feet afterwards, ignoring the pleas to be left alone. Nala Se had been the rescuer that day, investigating upon hearing Wrecker scream. She took him with her, ordering Tech, Crosshair and Hunter to be freed and sent back to their barracks.
Despite her best efforts Nala Se couldn't save Wrecker from permanent scaring. She kept him in her lab for days, doing her best to take away his pain as she removed shrapnel and his left eye. Replacing the eye with a cybernetic one. Her examinations showing he'd be partially death in the left ear.  Yet she had also showed kindness, even more so when she had taken the punishment of the Bounty Hunter into her own hands, ensuring he wouldn't be heartless to one of her special five again.
CROSSHAIR Crosshair's training normally consisted of being isolated for days on end. His accuracy was beyond that of any other, so his path of a sniper had been chosen for him. Forced on him even. At first it would be overnight stays in the training facilities, perched in a snipers nest, flat on his stomach, he'd be allowed breaks to move around and join the others in the mess hall. But as time went by, the conditions got worse. He'd be denied simple breaks to stretch his limbs, bathroom trips or even sleep. Food and water became a method to reward him for his good work in training.
After a while the trips to the training facility wasn't enough. His instructor insisting he needed something more real. So would take him out to a landing pad in the constant rain, there he'd be tasked with eliminating all distractions and fire on his fellow cadets, each time they'd be unaware. If Crosshair was to refuse then he'd be beaten, stamped on and other things, at times his own instructor had used a electric torture device to deliver a shock, all in an attempt to get him to comply. If he still refused a loaded gun would be held to the side of his head, or he'd be put in some sort of strangle hold. Crosshair had bones broken one more than one occasion. Normally ribs, wrist, ankle and fingers.
Many a times Crosshair had been taken outside in the pouring rain, without cover, food or water, he'd be left their for days, only being sent a location of his target, normally another cadet but occasionally a fully trained trooper would would fire back. He was tasked to stun them all. To make it easier, his instructor told him to make up stories about them, to make himself think they deserved it, he was told to ignore his guilt over firing at them and ignore they were clones just like him. Instead he was told to think of it like a game, with everyone he stunned he'd be earning the right of bathroom use, of food and water, of being able to return to his barracks and see his brothers again.
But it only got worse. Eventually stunning his fellow cadets and fully trained troopers wasn't enough anymore. His instructor wanted him to use live rounds, to potentially kill them. He was branded as teaching them a lesson, of setting an example to other cadets who misbehaved. Every time Crosshair refused he was met with a brutal beating, already weak from days without food and lying flat on his stomach. Already weak from his countless other beating from answering back with snarky comments. He'd been denied medical attention until he completed his training session.
When he was sent to the med bay, he found no comfort. It was made perfectly clear to him by the elegant Kaminoans he wasn't welcome there, they tolerated him a best, doing the bare minimum to ease his pain and ensuring his injuries and wounds would heal. Pain killers weren't a luxury extended to him, instead he felt the pain, eventually growing to accept it as a companion, refusing to show it to another unless he couldn't bare it any longer.
By far his worst training session was when he was up on the landing platform, the rain pelting down on him, hardly bothered him anymore. He was told via a comm link four targets were heading into his directory, he was to shoot them. At first Crosshair was certain he wouldn't have a problem with it, he grown used to using cadets and troopers as a target practice. Yet this time was different, the targets in question was a fully grown trooper and three cadets. Tech, Hunter and Wrecker along with ninety-nine. Almost instantly Crosshair yelled he couldn't, no wouldn't fire on them. They were his brothers and one of the few who actually showed care to him. Ninety-Nine had named each of them, treated them like he did with all the other cadets, with care and loved. Always helping them with something.
His instructor had come on to his landing pad after that, demanding he shoot all four to kill. Stamping on Crosshair's back when he refused, the beating when on for quite some time. Only stopping when Crosshair had managed to grab his rifle and point it had the vicious man tasked with training him. Even then no emotion escaped his blush pink features. Instead his instructor called him names, often accompanied by the words useless and defect. Through it all Crosshair would yell even scream he didn't want to kill his brothers, loud enough they could hear him and pin point his location, loud enough they would know what they're being used for this time.
The nightmares were always the worst part of his torture. They were the mental scars of his training. When he was actually allowed to sleep, he'd been tormented by the nightmares, a scenario being played out where he'd have to hunt his brothers, torture them for information and eventually kill them in a public way. Every time he'd wake up screaming he didn't want to kill them. Each time Wrecker would offer him Lula, as comfort. Tech would reassure him it was just a dream and they were all there, alive and well. Where as Hunter would stay by his side until he fell back to sleep. The cycle would repeat itself several times over, each time the stun setting on the gun becoming more appealing, until Crosshair would eventually give up on the idea of sleep. Instead he would be content watching over his brothers and reading something on Tech's data-pad, all while playing with Hunter's knife and protecting Lula for Wrecker.
HUNTER Hunter's training mainly centered around his senses and tracking. Much like Crosshair it was far more physical than most. Although he'd also find himself locked in a lab for what was supposed to be testing but felt more like his own personal brand of torture. His favorite training was when he got to spend time with his brothers. Normally when they were in training facilities together, going through different scenarios. They worked well as a team and was sure to let his tired brothers know it.
His training as an individual however he hated, with a vengeance. Often times was Crosshair the one he had to track, with the order to subdue my any means necessary. Every time his sharp eyed brother would be under the impression the person coming would be trying to kill him, as if he'd been brain washed. Each time he would be in for a fight even when Crosshair had been starved for days. He'd always say I'm sorry before stunning him, he'd hold his brother close, maker knows what would happen to him for being caught.
The days in the lab he hated most. Mostly due to be stuck in some kind of tub, helpless to do anything as Tech yelled for help and for someone to save him. In his tub he'd be subjected to a manor of different things, noises only he could hear, with a pitch high enough to frazzle his hearing for days. Smells powerful enough to burn his air ways and leave a metal tinged after taste in his mouth. multi-color lights so bright, he would be blinded and couldn't see the Kaminoan outside the tube. He's be left with lights flashing behind his eyes long after the bright lights had been turned off.
When not in the tube, he would be strapped to a table like Tech, poked and prodded, different tests administered. He'd always know when they were due, being forbidden from drinking or eating anything for hours before hand. His struggles only resulted in pain, multiple times he'd been struck with something across his midsection. The blow hard enough he could feel his ribs crunch beneath the object, and the air leave his lungs from the pure shock of it. He'd always think of his brothers in those times. Think about needing to be strong for them, so he could help them when they all returned to the barracks.
Although even those thoughts had been used against him. Manipulated to serve a purpose. Countless times had the Kaminoans in the lab put goggles on him while strapped to the lab table. They'd play videos of his brother's training, specifically when they would be punished for failing, answering back to the instructors or just doing something considered out of line. Each time it was when he wasn't there to save them or when he was unable to get to them. The clips of Tech when he was being electrocuted in his tests or yelling out from pain during his lab stints. Wrecker's being his scarring injury or when he'd been called every name under the sun, being hit with objects and humiliated by his awful instructor. Where as Crosshair's was pretty much every training session, when he was starved for days, beaten and berated, shocked and had guns held to his head or a knife to his throat. Where the people he loved most were used against him.
One such occasion where the videos were shown to him. Hunter had yelled out for it to stop, as always being ignored, so he had constantly belted the side of his head off the equipment so close to him, shattering the goggles. The Kaminoans had removed the remnants afterwards scolding him, as the injuries sustained were patched up. Although it would leave a scar as a reminder, a scar he'd eventually hide beneath his trademark bandanna. Yet he always felt as he deserved the scar as it reminded him of the times he failed to protect his brothers.
Returning to the barracks after those tube tests was never easy. The lights in the halls were always bright enough to blind him, to the point he would hold his hands out and feel his way around to find his way back. Countless times had the bleach smell to radiate through the Military facilities burn his air ways, making it hard for him to breath. Tech would always help by turning the lights down to the lowest setting possible, although that was to help Crosshair too. He'd also find a sweet smelling fragrance of some kind, normally vanilla and cover the bleach smell in their room with it. Although their private barracks always had the smell of home. A cross between engine oil and gun powder.
Yet still he felt the need to protect his brothers. Guiding Tech to his bunk and putting the data-pad at a safe distance on the table in the center of the room. He'd make sure Wrecker had a picture of them together near him and his favorite blanket and Lola if Crosshair didn't have it. As for Crosshair, he'd always be there when he woke up screaming from nightmares, just as he knew when Crosshair had gotten his knife as something to hold on to. Yet he didn't say anything as it gave both comfort. Getting to sleep on the other hand was a far more difficult task. Often times he'd wait until his brothers were asleep, or at least Tech and Wrecker. More often than not he'd end up crying himself to sleep, knowing the only one to hear would be Crosshair, who often helped by placing a hand on his shoulder while pulling his blankets up to keep him warm. Crosshair being their somehow eased the pain and sent him into a somewhat peaceful sleep.

Name and Soul: Chapter 3
AH! Here we go! Enjoy!
@mqgriett @darkangel4121 @thelambandthewolffe @maulscrosshair @trash-dino-5000
Crosshair x F! reader
Word Count: 2091
Warnings: SPOILERS for episode 3, Wrecker being best uncle, Sad Crosshair stuff, internal conflict, Tarkin being awful
“That doesn’t look very comfortable, kid.” You crouch down to Omega, who set herself up against Gonky and a wall.
“It’s okay, we’re fine.” The girl smiles up at you before looking back to her datapad.
You sit down next to her, patting the droid behind her. “How’s that diary coming along?”
Omega smiles and reaches next to her, opening the diary excitedly. “Really well! I can’t wait till we get him back. Do you think I could be as good of a shot as he is?”
“Oh I know you can,” You lean down to her ear, “And don’t ever tell him this, but I think you could be better.”
“No way, you’re lying.” Omega smiles and pushes your arm, laughing.
“Omega, I swear on my life, that I would never lie to you. You have talent and you're smart. You have a lot of opportunities out there.”
“Y/n! Can you give me a hand over here!” Echo pokes his head out from the cockpit.
“Yeah, one sec.” You rest your hand on the girl's shoulder, “I’ll be right back.”
“Y/n!”
“Alright alright, I’m coming!” You roll your eyes as you walk over to the man.
“The ship got hit hard when we left Saleucami. Everything has been glitching ever since. Things would go faster if I had some help.” Echo glares at Tech, who’s fiddling with… something.
“As soon as I finish this scanner.”
You lean on Tech’s chair. “But if the ship crashes, you won’t have the tools to finish your project.”
The man raises his eyebrow and glances at you. “If the scanner isn’t finished, we might have a repeat of Kamino’s events.” The three of you go silent before Tech changes the subject. “Besides, the ship's diagnostic report indicated no critical systems were compromised.”
The ship rumbles and you and Echo are thrown to the floor. When you look up again, you no longer see the blue of hyperspace.
“What were you saying about the ship being fine again?” Tech glares at you before grabbing the controls. The ship rumbles, nearly knocking you down again. “We’re crashing.”
You strap yourself in across from Wrecker and Omega. The internal lights start flashing red.
“We’re gonna die! We’re gonna die!” Wrecker grips his seat.
“Wrecker!” The man looks at you, following your eyes to Omega, who looks terrified. She frantically looks between the two of you.
“We’re gonna… be fine. We’re gonna be fine.”
--
“Is it over?” Omega looks at you, still shaken up.
You walk to her and squeeze her hand, “Yep, it’s all over. Are you okay?”
The girl nods hesitantly, “Y-yeah, I think.”
“... we have one spare capacitor onboard.” Tech states to the rest of you.
Omega walks over to a shelf and pulls out a box. Something you recognize.
“Omega…”
“Is it in here?” The girl looks at you all, stopping on your mute expression. “What?”
You straighten up, “That’s Crosshair’s weapons kit.”
Wrecker groans, “I’ll say it. I kinda miss him.”
Tech begins to describe what the inhibitor chip can do, but Hunter cuts in. You furrow your brows at his actions.
“Look, debating this won’t fix the ship.” Hunter glances at you before continuing. “We need to get off this rock.”
--
“Is it possible to implant a chip into a natural born?” Tarkin stares at the clone through the glass.
“It is.” Nala Se speaks quietly. “Why do you ask?”
“Private L/n is a very skilled soldier, those skills would be useful. Once she is caught, I need her unwavering loyalty.”
“Governor Tarkin.” Rampart walks into the room. “I have the report on Private L/n.”
“Very good, what did you find?” Tarkin turns his attention to the man for a split second.
“She’s as skilled as any clone, if not more. She graduated top of her class as a marksman at the Academy of Carida. If I may, L/n’s skills would be incredibly useful for Project War Mantle.”
“My thoughts exactly, Rampart.”
--
You stuck your hand out from the floor of the ship, Omega handed you a tool, curiously looking down at you.
“Where did you learn all this stuff?”
“Oh way before the war, this isn’t my first.”
“It’s not? Where were you before?”
You take off Tech’s spare goggles and sigh, “I think that’s a story for another time.”
Wrecker walks by, rubbing his head. “Ow! Ow”
You stand up and tap Wrecker’s leg. “What’s up with you?”
Wrecker winced again, “I must’ve hit my head in the crash. Ow.”
You hop up, setting down your tools. “I have an ice pack, that’ll help.”
“Thanks, Y/n.” Wrecker follows you back, “Y/n?”
“Hm?”
“My head doesn’t hurt that bad. But I wanted to ask you something.”
You turn around, confused. “Go ahead.”
“Well, you know how Omega has no room, like one of her own? What if we made her one? Make it a surprise.”
You smile widely, “I think that’s a great idea, Wrecker. We need to distract Omega though.”
“Guys, you need to come see this!” Hunter calls out.
As you walk out, you see a large shadow cross the window. “Woah! What the heck was that?”
Omega looks at you wide-eyed, “Some creature with a huge tail!”
Tech clears his throat, “Most likely an Ordo Moon Dragon, it took the part.”
A moment and some banter later, Hunter and Omega are getting ready to go after the creature. You look at Hunter, “Be careful.”
“Will do.”
You then look at Omega, “And you stay close to Hunter.”
“I promise! Cross my heart!” The girl responds happily.
You chuckle and wave as the two walkout. You glance at Echo and Tech arguing in the cockpit. You roll your eyes and walk to Wrecker. “Okay, let's get started! With Hunter’s senses, we don’t have a lot of time.”
--
Crosshair stands at the door, “Sir, you called me again.”
“Yes, you will have to abandon your search for Clone Force 99 for a moment. Onderonian insurgents have been found again, I will introduce you to your new squad. Find the insurgents and eliminate them. After you complete this, then you can continue your original task.”
“Yes sir, find Private L/n, terminate Clone Force 99.” The man walked out and back to his barracks. He sits on his bunk, grabbing the same necklace that he’s looked at more than a dozen times before.
Why do I care? I don’t know this woman. I love her… Wait, no. She’s a traitor. Don’t hurt her.
Crosshair lifts the ring into the light. He falls back onto his bed, clipping the necklace around his neck, completely unaware of what he did. I miss her. She betrayed the Empire. I miss my brothers. They left me. I’m sorry… I’m so sorry.
--
“What’s this?” Wrecker picks up the diary from the floor. You look back from the blankets you tie up to the top of the ceiling.
“Omega is writing all the stuff that happens in there. She said it’s for when we get Crosshair back.” You turn back, looking out the window of the gunner room.
“You don’t believe her?” Wrecker places the diary on the gunner chair.
“I do. But every day we leave him there makes it feel like it’s impossible. And no one acknowledges what happened. Not even Hunter…”
Wrecker places his hand on your shoulder, “I know, but Hunter misses him. You know how he is, he can hide that stuff easy.”
“I know, but I wish he would talk about it.”
--
This man was pissing Crosshair off. He’s arrogant. And chatty.
“Hey clone, what’s that around your neck?”
“None of your business.” Crosshair glares at the blonde man.
He smirks, “A little lady, maybe?” He scoffs, “Why would someone go with a clone.”
The group steps out of the ship, sneaking through the woods. Crosshair straightens his back.
“Move out.”
--
“Wrecker, I think we need one more blanket, just to be safe. And do we have any lights?” You jump down from the room, waiting for Wrecker.
“We have lights.” The man lifts a string of them up. “I’ll get 'em.”
“I’ll go get another blanket.” You walk to your room, glancing at the bunk. Crosshairs blanket is folded at the end, just like you left it that morning. You pick it up and hold it to your face. You smell him. It’s comforting, warm, and very uniquely Crosshair.
“Here we go, one blanket.” You place the blanket with the others. “It looks great so far.”
--
“Where’s Gerrera?”
“I don’t know, I wouldn’t tell you anyway.” The insurgent sneers at the helmeted man.
Crosshair tilts his head, “I believe you.” He lifts his blaster. NO! He pulls the trigger and the woman falls to the ground.
He lifts his weapon to the civilians. STOP!
“What are you doing? Gerrera’s fighters are dead. We should bring civilians in.” The blonde man steps forward.
“Those weren’t our orders.”
“Forget it, this is wrong.”
Crosshair walked up to the man, stopping toe to toe.
“You want to know why they put me in charge?”, stop it… please. “It’s because I’m willing to do what needs to be done.” He pulls out his blaster and pulls the trigger. The man drops. No, no, NO! Good soldiers follow orders. “Finish the mission.”
--
You are finishing up the room when Wrecker comes up. He’s holding something. Lula?
“What’s Lula doing here?” You look at the large soldier, who rubs the back of his neck shyly.
“I thought that Omega would like it, something to hold onto.”
“I think that’s great, Wrecker. She’ll love it.” You hold the doll and place it on the bed… next to her diary.
--
Crosshair looks at what’s left of his “squad”.
“If any of you tell higher-ups about this,” He pulls the necklace from under his armor. “I will kill you all.”
The soldiers tense up and all nod at the same time.
“... good.” I- I killed them. Innocent people. The ship lands, he goes through another lengthy debrief, he goes back to his barracks. Ignoring the others, he sits on his bunk, completely silent. Images flash through his head… of you. This woman. Y/N! Your smile, your hair, everything about you. He looks at the ring around his neck. He was right. Why would she be with me… who could love me?
--
“Tech! Can we please leave?”
“Gladly.” The man flips a few switches and the ship starts moving.
“Y/n!” Omega runs up to you.
“Omega! I heard you completed the mission? How’d it feel?”
“Well, I was really scared at first, but then I was able to get the part by tricking the creature!” The girl smiles up at you.
“I knew you’d be fine! And you saved Hunter.” You put a hand on her shoulder. “I’m proud of you, Omega.”
The girl hugs you, “Thank you, y/n.”
Wrecker walks up behind you, “Hey kid. Come with me.”
Omega raises her eyebrow, looking at Wrecker, then you.
You and the man chuckled, “Just cover your eyes.”
Wrecker guides Omega to the back of the ship, you following behind. He stops in front of the gunner room.
“Okay, open ‘em.”
Omega gasps at the view, looking from the room to Wrecker, back to the room, then you.
You walk up with a smile. “Well, what do you think?”
“I- I love it. You guys did this?”
“Yep! Y/n picked out the lights. We put it together when you guys left.”
“It was Wrecker’s idea. A great one at that.”
“Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!” Omega jumps up and down before climbing up the ladder, sitting on the blankets. “I never had my own room before.” She picks up Lula, then sets the diary on her lap.
“You’re a part of this squad now too. You deserve your own room.”
--
You are lying in your bed, staring at the ceiling. The door swooshes open, revealing Omega, holding the diary loosely in her hand.
“Omega, it’s late. Why are you up?”
“I couldn’t sleep.” She walks across the floor and crawls up onto your bed. “Can you tell me a story? Please?”
You look at the girl and nod. Omega scoots into your side and rests her head on your shoulder.
“Hmmm, how about another mission story?”
The girl nods, paying attention.
“So, we met with a Jedi, Anakin Skywalker…”
Hunter walks to your room the next morning, finding you asleep against your headboard, Omega asleep, snuggled into your side.

"I am not alone" Part 1
Instead of 50 years, let's make it 30 years from when Kix was found from stasis.
Bad Batch passed away because of their accelerated aging
Omega wears a armor that haves a piece of each original armor
Omega is in her late 30s now
Thank you @shadowlight17 for being my beta reader in this fic!!! You where a huge help with my spell checking and making sure everything was good!!!
It’s been 30 years since the rise of the empire, and Omega had witnessed it all. She watched her fellow clones fall to the empire hands due to the chip, she was trained and raised by the elite squadron known as The Bad Batch, learning all sorts of skills from them before their untimely passing. For the first few years after their passing, Omega felt alone, realizing that she was the last clone from the facility. She never imagined or dream she would meet another who shared her face. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Ugh… That informant better have been right when she said I would find more supplies in this sector. It's impossible to find Separatist supplies nowadays…” Omega muttered to herself as she came out of hyperspace, reaching the planet Ponemah. It was an isolated planet, apparently the empire never got as far as this planet, and from what the informant had said the ship was practically untouched. Omega made her way down through the atmosphere, following the coordinates that were given to her, and to her surprise she found the old dreadnought ship lying where it had fallen.. “Bingo~” She chirped out, flipping a switch and powering the hyperdrive down. The landing sequence initiated, she scanned the landscape and scowled slightly at the dust stirring up with the disturbance. The ship settled onto its landing gear and Omega swung around, heading for the makeshift armory.
Her armor was a mix of her former mentor’s armor. Echo’s chest plate, Hunter’s helmet, Wrecker’s shoulder and arm pieces, which she had to weld to fit her own arms, Crosshair’s codpiece and leg piece, and last but not least, Tech’s backpack. The rest of their armor was laid neatly on their old bunks, everything in it was kept how it was when her family was last alive. She still didn’t have the heart to touch any of it, especially Lula. Once Omega was geared up, she made her way outside. The dust hitting her visor made it difficult to navigate, but she eventually found her way inside the downed ship. Everything was covered in a thick layer of dust, likely blown in from the surface, but nothing looked too damaged. Thus began her scavenging, everything she found useful she would drag inside her ship so she made sure to leave no room untouched. “This ship is a gold mine! I could probably sell some of this stuff...especially the deactivated droids! I know those will go for a good price.” Omega said to herself as she made her way to the last room of the ship; “I have a good feeling about this one.” She commentated as she forced the door open, shining a light inside the room. It was the most damaged one out of all of the rooms. She was sure she could still rummage and hopefully find something useful. Omega moved broken pieces, crates that had nothing in them, and wires that dangled from the ceiling. Nothing. “Well, that might be that…” The words echoed around the room and she turned to leave. Something tugged in her mind, something screaming that she left something big behind. “....One last look wouldn’t hurt” she exclaimed, turning around and lighting her flashlight once more. She looked over at a specific part of the room where there was a large piece of debris laying against the wall. Omega made her way over and pushed the debris off, gasping out loudly when she saw what was hidden behind it. A human. No, not just any human. A clone. Omega cried out and fell back, her breathing was shaky and she stared up at the pod that held the clone inside of it. How long had he been here, why was he here, who was he!? Those questions would need to be answered later, right now she had to get him out of there. Omega got back to her feet and quickly worked to get the clone out of the stasis pod. He was still in his armor and he was still young, as if he was stopped in time. He was also heavy. “Thank you Wrecker for all those weight exercises!” Omega giggled to herself as she carried the clone back to her ship. Omega had made her own bunk into a small med area. She was grateful that the clone was still alive somehow. She put him on oxygen and stripped his armor off, leaving him only in his blacks. Omega sat on a crate as she kept careful watch over him, his chest rising up and down with each breath he took. “How is this possible…” She muttered to herself. A part of her was worried about this clone. Was he one of the clones that the chip was active and participated in order 66? Or was this clone captured before that… Her questions was about to be answered because the clone began to wake up. Kix eyes shot open, gasping for air and coughing. He was delirious after being in stasis for so long. immediately cried out, “The J-Jedi, I need to get t-to the jedi..!” He coughed, thrashing around on the cot, “Where am I-I?! Jesse!! Rex!!” Omega rushed to his side, holding him down on the bed to not hurt himself, “Breathe trooper!” She says authoritatively, her helmet still on. Kix’s gaze flicked up to the helmet and he stopped thrashing a bit, “H-Hunter…?” He breathed out. Shock and confusion painting a picture on his face. Omega blinked, how did he know Hunter? Omega slowly took her helmet off, meeting the clone gaze. “No… I’m Omega…. You knew Hunter…?” To be continued........

She was being held, woken up by shouting as she was placed into or onto something, (maybe a pod of some kind?) with Hunter’s face looking down at her.
She was still so tired, not hearing anything but soft ringing, Lula was in her hands, pressed to her chest when the world finally came back to her in one breath.
The ship was being attacked, most likely by Crosshair and his men, their ship and fighters attacking the Marauder from all sides.
He found them from their last mission on Batuu, their ship getting tagged by the Empire as they left the spaceport.
“Hunter!” Omega shouted out, reaching out for her brother’s arm, him just pushing her back into the only escape pod, a bag being pressed into her hands along with a canteen and bow. “Hunter!”
“Stay in here until we come back for you okay, kid?” He explained fanatically, moving to the pod’s door, looking at her with a worried expression. What was going on?!
A hiss of a door opening.
The sound of shouting and blaster bolts filling their home, her home.
The faint smell of sweat in the air.
“Got it!?” He asked, looking back over his shoulder to where she knew Echo and Tech were, Wrecker’s shouting becoming louder as more blaster bolts shot past Hunter’s own head, nearly hitting him.
She nodded and the door closed with a hiss, the pod shooting out of its dock as she watched their ship grow smaller the more the pod traveled away. Omega picked up Lula, holding the plush to her chest as she waited then-
It blew up, the ring of fire causing her pod to shake and malfunction from the force of it. She just closed her eyes, hoping to wake up from this… this nightmare. She wanted to be back in her brother’s arms, those arms comforting her with gentle words and soft pats of her back.
That was four standard hours ago, her pod had stopped, waiting right outside of the debris of the Havoc Marauder and that imperial ship. The stars never changed as she floated in space. Lula was still in her lap, covered in crumbs from the ration bar she had, tear streams dry on her cheeks.
“What if Hunter’s still alive, Lula?” She asked her toy and her small little trooper toy, bringing both closer to her chest as new tears ran down her face. What if she had stayed? Maybe if she did, they’ll all be alive and back with Cid on-
The pod moved, as if in a tractor beam, she moved towards the view port and saw a blue Y-wing and some kind of XS freighter. Rex and whoever his people were. She felt her heartbeat quicken, her tears streaming down her face as she cried tears of joy.
She was safe, and when she stared up to the hatch, a tan skinned man with a blue mask and a dark skinned man with green eyes were staring down at her.
“Are you Omega?” The green eyed man asked, (Saw Gerrera maybe?) his hand outreached to pick her up. Omega just continued to cry, the man having to get into the pod to pick her and her belongings up and into the freighter. “Sh, kiddo, Rex’s dockin’ right now and be right with you shortly.”
He was fixing her hair, pressing Lula to her chest as she clung to his shirt and armor, sobbing into his neck. She was safe, she was saved by Rex and his people. Whoever Rex trusted to pick her up clearly was good with little kids, petting the back of her head as he swayed them. Omega was being carried off to a small med bay, a man with dark purple eyes pushing up her sleeve to get a blood sample? Or maybe just giving her something to calm her down?
She was still clinging to this tall man’s chest, his reassuring voice telling her she was safe, that she needed to rest.
Omega didn’t need to sleep, she need to talk to Rex and tell him about Crosshair and-
She yawned, rubbing her eyes of sleep and the tears she could feel collecting there, the edges of her vision becoming darker as she blinked slower.
“Shh, kid,” The man muttered into her hair, his hand petting his hair as he sat down in a seat. She was tired, but just from crying or from that tranquilizer they gave her, she was just… tired. “Rex will be here soon and you can tell him everythin’, ‘kay?”
“‘Kay…” She slurred, the word being drawn out with the clear exhaustion in her voice.
Omega felt warm, as if she was back in her room, the fairy lights above her on the lowest setting, with a blanket over her exhausted body. She loved that feeling, the world so still as she looked over the stars from her little view. Everything felt airy, soft and fluffy, like she was breathing in laughing gas. The hand at the back of her head slowed, as a blurry figure in a cloak or something came forward.
Omega was too tired to keep her eyes open, too tired.
So warm. So comforting.

“Did you really have to drug her?” He heard Rex ask with a sigh.
Saw looking up from the little girl in arms to his husband, his face in that cute tight-lipped expression he loved to make when in thought.
“Omega was going to have a panic attack on my ship. Pretty sure she was going to pass out before you docked anyway.” Saw explained with a sigh, craning his neck up to catch Rex’s kiss.
“Seems they got her out before they died,” Rex sighed out, sitting in the copilot’s seat, looking over the remains of Clone Force 99’s last stand. “I know that this old hunk of junk has quarters, let’s get her a bed.”
Saw nodded, looking at all the broken metal and glass in front of them, nothing remaining but the small, little girl in his arms and those belongings in her bag. She was clinging to his shirt as they walked out of the cockpit, walking though the main hold to the bunk room.
“She seems a little younger than thirteen,” Saw said, waiting for Rex to grab one of the thermal blankets. His husband just huffed out a laugh, placing the blanket on one of the small cots, fixing the small pillow. “At least ten basic at the most.”
“I know just,” Rex started to explain, moving out of the way as he placed the small girl on the tiny cot, her hands grasping at the blanket as if she was trying to grasp his shirt again. He looked over to his lover, his face in that soft look he made before he cried, his eyebrows scrunched together.
“It’s okay, I’m gonna to be right here the whole time, ‘Kay?” Saw tried to comfort, leading Rex out of the bunk room. Harold and Lufi were waiting outside, the two teenagers at a perfect ready. “Private Desncuni, watch over Omega and Sargeant Munica, try to find some alcohol for me and the Captain.”
“Sir, yes, sir!” They both shouted together, Lufi walking into the bunk room and Harold moving quickly to the cargo bay. He looked back to Rex, those eyes closed as he took a deep breath. He never wanted Rex to cry, never wanted Rex to worry about anything and he’ll make sure of that.
“I don’t know what to do anymore, cyar’ika.” Rex said into his gloved hands, letting himself get pulled into his lover’s arms, pressing his face into his chest. He just keeped them walking slowly, towards the cockpit and the only bit of privacy on his shitty ship, pressing kisses and short, sweet admirations of love. He opened the door with a hush of cold air hitting their faces, getting Rex to the copilot’s chair. He sat in his own chair, looking over at his partner, his dark eyes looking over the debris. “I just don’t know.”
“It’s okay love, I hardly know what to do either. With Admiral Ambino and the Empire breathing down our necks,” Saw sighed, taking Rex’s left hand in his own, pressing a soft kiss to his knuckles. Rex just looked back at him, eyes teary as Harold walked in, passing him the alcohol and glasses. He poured them both the liquor, the amber liquid glowing blue from the ship’s sensors and lights.
“Thank you, cyare.” Rex thanked, taking the glass into his lap. Saw took a drink from his cup, the sour liquor making his throat sting, before looking back at his now crying lover.
Saw moved over back towards him, pulling Rex onto his lap. He pushed Rex’s head into his neck, letting him sob and shake in his hold. “It’s okay, it’s okay. I’m right here, love. Right here.”
Rex just sobbed harder, hands on his own glass shaking so hard the glass nearly tipped over, drenching out over his lover’s blacks and his pants.
Rex rarely cried this hard, only once while they were on a tough mission in Iziz, seeing families getting ripped apart as they walked the city’s streets, but this was different. He was crying because he’s just lost more brothers, more of his only kin.
He hadn’t cried when Steela died, pushing those emotions down so much he could barely feel them anymore. He just held his lover close, placing both of their glasses onto the floor.
“I’m- I’m sorry, Saw. I shouldn’t be- I shouldn’t be crying.” Rex gasped into his neck, hands now grasping at the lip of his chestplate.
“No, it’s okay to cry. It’s okay to show emotion.” He whispered into Rex’s temple, kissing that little scar which had caused his brothers so much pain. Rex pulled back, he and his face red and cheeks wet from tears as he looked into his green eyes, expression soft. Saw just pushed him back in that little space, kissing the top of his head as Rex took in deep breaths, “It’s okay, my love.”
“I- I love you.” Rex muttered into his neck, his lover’s strong arms now wrapped securely around Saw’s neck.
“I love you too.” Saw muttered, kissing Rex's head again before looking over the stars and broken metal. What was this little girl going to become to him and Rex? A daughter? He had wanted to give Rex children before the War, adopt a few and raise them in Saw’s beast ride out in the jungles of his homeworld. But that was before the war, but now?
What child deserved to live in constant fear of dying or seeing their parents die, with nightmares plaguing?
Well, him, he guessed. But this little girl? She acted just like Steela when she was nine, tired from school and running their shop, clinging to him when he tried to set her down.
“We’ll both protect her, I’ll protect her, Rex.” Saw swore. “With my last dying breath, I will protect Omega.”

Wrecker…
Tech, Echo…
Hunter!
Omega woke up in a gasp, breathing harshly as light filled her small cot. She went for her bow, finding it missing as she panicked. Was she captured by the Empire? Pirates? Maybe Cad Bane or Fennec Shand found her in the debris? She needed to get out of here. Two people stepped forward, her blurry vision making her captures look like glowing figures.
“Omega, everything’s fine,” A familiar voice said. Rex! She tried wrapped her arms around his neck, but her limbs felt too weak to move, to grab onto her brother.
“Rex. Where am,” Omega was interrupted by a yawn before she could finish, her eyes still heavy with fatigue. “Where am I?”
“You’re on my… partner’s ship,” Rex explained, fixing the blanket she was wrapped in and picking up her toys, placing them on her lap. “We just got into hyperspace so it will be a few days till we see Onderon, you don’t need to worry kiddo.”
“Onderon?” She asked, an eyebrow raised in question.
“Yes, Onderon,” Rex murmured with a smile, going to move her curly hair out of her face. “My rebel group and partner are stationed there at the moment.”
“That’s… that’s good,” She agreed, the sleepiness hitting her again as the second figure came by Rex. Her vision was still blurred, the figure still so unreadable but for their eyes, their glowing green eyes. “Who are you?”
“I’m Saw.” The figure simply stated, roughing up her hair with a large, gloved hand before stepping out of the room, closing the door behind them.
Odd.
“Don’t worry about him; Saw has a soft spot for children.” Rex seemed to reassure, looking at the door with a smile, before fixing her, again, wild hair out of her face. Omega was too tired to complain or push away his hand, just nuzzling back into her pillow and blanket, before letting sleep take her once again.
