... All that I could get from him was a sense of… resignation, and the insistence that his master, who I took to be Albrecht, wanted the tree dead. I’m sure that he used that word, though. Not burned, not removed, or destroyed. Dead. I resolved to ask Albrecht about it when I saw him."

...and then we never heard from it again. This tree still confuses me!! I can't connect it conclusively to anything else, but there's such an emphasis placed on it that it feels like it has to be important!

The motif of a big gnarly tree being burned echoes the tree at Hilltop Road, so even though there are no spiders, something about it feels Webby - as does the way Fanshawe mentions it, says he wants to ask Albrecht about it, and then seems to completely forget about it...

...that's a very weak connection at best, when there aren't any other indications that the Web is involved with the Von Closens at that time and place. So what else could it be? Fire could indicate the Desolation, but that has the same problem of not being mentioned otherwise, plus just burning down one (1) tree doesn't really seem like its style to do, unless this specific tree means something;

Trees and fire are also reminiscent of Gertrude's protection circle from s1, though, again, that's Web & Desolation duking it out. The tree at HTR also seemed to be connected to Agnes' death in some way, she died when it was cut down. Maybe this tree is also protecting someone, but who? why? how? Albrecht? That makes no sense, at the very least unless "the Master" is referring to someone else, but that really just opens more questions than it answers!

Maybe the tree is meant to signify another 'rift' between worlds, and it links up to the vague implication that maybe the Von Closens seemed to be unable to get children in s1, but evidently had them later on. And maybe the bastard prince actually came through from another dimension as well.... However, that's still a very big leap to take just from one odd tree and two 'mysteries' that aren't really mysteries and didn't really need solving in the first place

I'd be curious to know if this was a plot hook for future episodes which never materialized into something more, or if I'm just missing something here. anyone else have a solid theory? @a-mag-a-day

I think I need to step away from this fandom before things get weirder and weirder, like last year when gen v dropped and I watched it I became a fan instantly and I got really into limoreau, Derek and London and there was none of that inconvenience, now anything a person says about the cast or the series has become a reason to fight specially on Twitter

honestly do what you need to but i don’t think it’s the fandom as much as it is just weird ppl on twitter. it’s very toxic on there and ppl can never be normal about celebrities supporting one another especially if they’re supporting the opposite sex and or if they’re uplifting a Black woman specifically (we know why). so yea i get it

i stopped using my old account that was public because i got sick of how a lot of gen v twt would steal content from tumblr creators without crediting us, the racism towards marie while excusing everything cate did and pretending cate was the actual protagonist in whatever state of delusion some cate stans seem to live in there, and so on.

running the derek account is fun cause the virgo moon in me gets to be organized by posting updates for funsies and i can interact with some of the fandom without it being too personal and overwhelming. outside of that, i have a private twt with like 3 close friends on there and that’s all i use outside of the derek one lol

Swap au Kim gets drunk and there's a sweet spot in which he's having the time of his life and manages to forget all that's fucked up in his existence just going with the flow and everyone besides him no matter who they are and how the treat him, but less drunk than that and he'll get sober too soon and everythings gonna hit him all at once making him feel twice as miserable, or he'll get even more drunk to the point it completely switches and the happiness and getting along with whoevers nearby morphs into over trusting and sad and as soon as someone is like "look man you're not fine you should go home" he takes it too personal and won't be against getting into fights

man. hate to say it but i finished karma files and idk how i feel about it

Understandable But Still Yuck about his Samah Apologisms in the epilogue #but i read a quite good Luke Grappling With Vader fic and while not directly applying it did make me think #about how much i feel it's because of how Alfred still measures himself compared to Samah #in a fucked up way.#and how so much of his Issues- this is about the serpent mage emotional abuse but also In General i think he definitely #has some childhood baggage that the whole Last Sartab This Is All On You thing only. Enhanced into the complete. emotional ruin we meet #but all of that. All Of That is about Inadequacy it's about not being Enough in a society that justified it's crimes by its perfection #and then he detaches himself from that and chooses to align himself with the patryn. and.#you know. like. the sartan goverment did do awful things and v much everyone is complicit in privilege ways #but People Are People is the point of the series but the point of the series is also it takes time to drill that point in and this kind of #trauma and hesitance of the oppressed group is v reasonable and worth respecring in some ways.#you know realisticlly he's gonna have to smile politely while people accept his existence as An Outlier To The Still Ancient Enemy cuz #'you aren't really... In Morbia, inside the Sphinx Palace, Mirage was looking trough her crystal ball. "Well, what place can i visit today?". The picture of Agrabah appears on the ball and she hissed.

"Agrabah!? I tried to make that city fall and it's impossible! That hero and that princess always stop me!". She look at the palace, raising an eyebrow and thinking.

"Mmm, but maybe i could do something more... And this time i won't fail! Now, let's see the little princess!" With a evil laugh, she disappears from Morbia and appears on Agrabah's Marketplace.

Months after the fall of the Royal Vizer, Jafar, Jasmine was roaming the marketplace, in her teal harem outfit, in search for a gift for her father. Small animal trinkets was a favorite of his and kept quite a large collection of them. Her fiancée, Aladdin, was a bit occupied in the palace, taking princely lessons, before his coronation of becoming the Sultan.

The stall she was looking for was just a few feet in front of her, when she made her way closer to it. Carefully scanning the variety of animals, she was trying to determine which gift was best for her father.
