headcanon that Dolores has a soundproof room so she can have peace from the amount of audio stimulation that overwhelms her on a daily basis.

thinking about a headcanon of a very young luisa probably being afraid to play with other kids in the village because she was still learning how to use her gift and was scared she would accidently hurt someone because of her strength.

the fact that tío felix is the embodiment of literal sunshine makes me so happy

headcanon that camilo is the biggest prankster in the entire village, and no one is safe from his tricks. If he hasn’t gotten to you yet, he will eventually.

I imagine you can’t get away with anything in the madrigal family because dolores hears everything and can’t keep a secret to save her life

It’s a cute little detail to think that if the Madrigal’s gain their gifts at a young age, that means the image on their door changes as they grow to reflect who they are in the present.

I wonder if anyone in the family — or even anyone in the village — feels nervous and/or anxious around Dolores?

I mean, she’s not intentionally mean in any sense and has a kind disposition, but she hears everything. And even though she’s soft spoken, it seems to be pretty well known that she can’t keep a secret...

I ran to barnes & nobles after seeing Encanto and got the artbook so I’m gonna post some stuff I liked about it :)
