Look at 'em! @naffeclipse I thought it would be fun to draw Eclipse this way. When I got a sketch I liked in my sketchbook, I was too scared I might ruin it with no undo so I moved it over to digital.

And look how they turned out!! The boys! With a spin that they have little star designs across their body. They got an eclipse and a galaxy.

I'm very proud and pleased about the colored spikes too, turned out how I wanted them too. You might also notice the floof additions which I purposefully wanted to look like Moon's hat 'cause ya can't forget the hat

Although, that said, I can already see how this is going to DRASTICALLY change the dynamics between Derek and the rest of the pack and I am already here for the comedy that will no doubt ensue. XD

Then there's the car. Like, my initial theory was that the thing that Malia and Kira ran after was were-jaguar Kate, which it definitely could've been, but that doesn't explain the tooth/claw that got caught in Stiles's tire, because that looked WAY too big for a jaguar (though, as an aside, were-jaguar certainly makes sense for Kate, gotta say...). Also, since I'm here, shout-out to that adorableness between Stiles and Malia. Like, loved the Stydia moment with the sass and the fixing of the jeep and the "Kira, go! Stiles, focus!", but honestly, not as much as I loved Stiles's absolute concern over Malia running off, and then, after the jeep was fixed, the pure shock, then pride, then slight disappointment on his face when she said she would never leave him, but would immediately leave any of the others... XD <3 ...okay okay, you got me. I'm a Stalia shipper. Feel better, Teen Wolf? XD I'm still gonna wait anxiously for Stydia to go canon, but until then...I'll happily take Stalia. XD <3 <3

And then as far as the thing in the church... Look, that thing was not human, and it was not a werewolf, and I don't know what the F*CK it was, but I didn't like it. Though, that said, YES Scott, with your True Alpha roar! I love you! Braeden being all like "Scott get back this thing is bad" and Scott being all like "yeah, but I'm worse" and then just roaring up a storm--we love him. We love this man so much. <3

Anyways!

That episode was honestly so freaking good, and it makes me feel like the rest of the show really will be able to keep up the amazing work and energy that went into Season 3b. Like, I honestly think I was subconsciously stalling starting Season 4 a little bit, because I was worried it wouldn't live up, but it TOTALLY already does! This is honestly probably my favorite season premiere thus far, and I'm REALLY excited to see where the rest of the season goes.

I am also up WAY later than I should be, given that I'm supposed to be awake in four and a half hours, but you know what? Soooo worth it.

I freaking love this show. <3

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again

everybody’s always on writing prompts like “what if there was a world where everyone had a timer ticking down to their death… but you met someone whose timer said infinity!” or “what if everyone had their cause of death tattooed across their forehead… but you met someone whose forehead said THE CREATURE!” Enough -

enough. stop with the shock value. there is no need to insert THE CREATURE; the benign concept of such a world is horrifying enough. not even in urgency, but just in banal, everyday interaction. imagine you meet someone and their timer says two years. not tomorrow, not urgently soon, but two years. enough to do quite a lot. they could fall in love in that time - could they get engaged? have a baby? you might otherwise get to know them, befriend them, but perhaps you opt not to, make a conscious choice not to invest in your own grief. what balancing act would every individual person have to participate in - I have ten years, is that long enough to be a good mother to children? is that long enough to secure a caretaker for my own mother? my wife will die a few months before me. my newborn’s timer reads nineteen years.

and cause of death. you interview for a job and emblazoned across the healthy, smiling face of the HR lady is MALNUTRITION. your country is prospering, safe, but every person you meet on the street from the babies to the old women read BOMB. BOMB. what kind of havoc would fate wreak on the world? what about the loss of privacy? how would that shape our notions of hope? idk man I think a lot of those ancient poems were right, and the fates are monsters. I’m interested by the framing of these ideas as trite horror tales when the premises themselves are so much more disturbing if simply taken to their logical ends

i used to be so good at writing strong, thoroughly-researched, thoroughly-edited essays.

as a kid in hs, my teacher literally came up to me, holding my 40 page essay on the intersection of the European witch hunts and capitalism/exploitation/gender roles (it was supposed to be 7 pages...whoops) and went like "this is literally a master's-degree level thesis. what are you doing?? you could literally use this as your final dissertation in a master's program, what the fuck."

If you use arab.org like I do please consider taking the extra 30-60 seconds to click on ALL of their causes. Palestine is important but so are the environment, refugees, children, women, and the impoverished across the middle east and it doesn't take away from Palestine to click for multiple causes. The arab world faces a lot of problems and they only get worsened by how western nations have oppressed and attacked them. Clicking is small but it generates something and overtime it does benefit the greater good. It takes all of us clicking as often as possible but we can do it! It's really easy and safe and they have proofs on their site on how they do make an impact and are donating your click money
