Shouldering a bag full of what little possessions he still had he walks through the front doors of the motel to check in with what little cash he had left from his sales of the Stan Co’s Rip-off Band-Aids just to have one night on a bed, a shitty bed but a bed. Maybe even a warm meal if it was free, otherwise he would swipe some on his way out. Walking past a very small group of people in varying outfits and styles sitting in what he assumed to be the café area he reaches the front desk ringing the rusty old bell for the motel attendant looking back to the café area while he waits.
