Sorry I’m late but here’s the playlist you were asking for: Bloom @1000-year-old-virgin
I made a playlist back in spring called Bloom. Lirio de los valles (which is the playlist cover image) was a hint to the theme. It’s the flower that grows in the darkness signifying a return of happiness. If you listen closely to the first and last song you’ll notice they flow into each other seamlessly. Every song in between was fair game. I just wanted someone to realize beauty can bloom from the darkness of heartache or any type of painful experiences and challenges we face in life.

The camellia is an early spring flower native to Asia, most often found growing in mountainous forests and thickets. In Japanese, this flower is known as tsubaki. They were very popular among nobles during the Edo era.
In hanakotoba (花言葉), the secret meanings of flowers, the red camellia means love. However, in Japanese literature, the camellia flower often symbolises the samurai, as both lived short but extremely brilliant lives. The camellia flower has a short blossoming period and, after only a few days, falls to the earth in one piece, reminiscent of the noble death of the fallen samurai.
