Sessrin Winter Wedding photoshoot

My dearest Sig saw that pretty winter shiromuku kimono and got it for me so I could make a Rin custom figure. I sculpted the hair from scratch and modified some old nendoroid faceplates. I needed to make a good setting too for the photos, so I also made a custom bridge out of sculpey.

I also made Sesshy's custom left arm so I could do this shot of them both holding hands~ He's overwhelmed by his beautiful bride UwU

I'd like to drop something here.

Fiction is not real. Stories in all their forms reflect so many different facets of life and the human psyche.

Fanfiction gives people an art medium to share the images and scenes in their heads, to help them process their own feelings or even to just Create For The Hell Of It.

Coming back into the Inuyasha fandom after years of enduring Life-Stuff, I've found a huge rift. There are the canon-purists, and those just along for the ride. And when the canon story isn't what we hoped, fanfiction writers lend their skills.

There are pairings that people think are just plain wrong, even as similar pairs are celebrated.

Art reflects life. And sometimes that means discomfort! If you find something uncomfortable, you can stop reading/watching at any time.

But also, please do NOT ship shame. Period. Some of my ships I have become scared to share, which has led to loneliness since I now can't safely find other people to make friends who share my interests.
