Crimson and Green
Most of the trees in Kinchakuda Manjushage Park (Saitama Prefecture, Japan) stand upright offering visitors to the park a lovely canopy of shade when viewing the red spider lilies.
In this shot, however, I focused on an old tree in the middle of the lilies that was growing at an angle. I love how the tree emerges from the field of lilies and is winding its way upwards towards the sunlight. I also love how the green moss stands in stark contrast with the crimson lilies.

近場に群生地もなく，ダッシュボードを流れゆく姿を見るだけだった彼岸花。
遠目に紅いものを見つけて，寄り道してみたら規模は小さいながらも発見。ぬかるんだ斜面で近づけないけどね
この子はチャバネセセリ？彼岸花って蜜でるの？毒大丈夫？

阿久根伊勢えび祭り開催中🎊
参加店舗ではありませんが、Cafe Soaproot(ソアプロット)で伊勢海老lunchを提供中とのことでしたので、前日に予約🦐
私が刺身が苦手なので、その分を味噌汁に入れていただきました。
普段からカフェのオーナー自身が漁に出たり魚をさばくので、エビの身がプリプリ✨
この時は3,570円でした(時価)🦐決して安くない値段ですが、その価値はありました🥰
食後は国道504号線の高速道路を突っ走って…
さつま町の柊野(くきの)地区のヒガンバナの咲くエリアへ(Many red spider lilies are in bloom.)。
今日は花が咲ききっていました🦋
カラスアゲハ(烏揚羽、Papilio dehaanii)という蝶みたいです🦋

Higanbana (彼岸花）is the red spider lily
Blooming fully around autumnal equinox(Sept.23)
Representing symbol of Higan, other shore or nirvana
In order to pay tribute to the ancestors in Buddhism.
Putting into the bawl of tea,
Higanbanas now look like Senjyukannon(千手観音)
Or one-thousand-armed bodhisattvas,
Angel of enlightenment beings to help those
Suffering from distresses on earth or in the hell.
These flowers are the symbols of light,
Or heavenly world in order for those on earth
To remember these higher beings taking care of us.

ピンクの彼岸花
2023.9.9
今日も朝から花の文化園にいってきました。もちろん向日葵と彼岸花が目的です。
どちらもいい感じに咲いていて来て良かったと思いながら、締めにもう一度向日葵を撮って帰ろうと思ったら、いつものカメラマンが３人でたむろしている。
いつものって言うのはマナーの悪いカメラマン。一人でも厄介なのに三人そろえば何になるんでしょうね。
向日葵が咲いてる花壇の周りに三脚立ててカメラ設置して、カメラそっちのけでしゃべってる。
私撮りたいんですけど、三脚が邪魔で撮れないんです。カメラバッグも邪魔で撮れないんですけど。いいカメラ使ってるのかも知れませんけど、下手な人ほどマナーが悪いって思っています。
高齢になればなるほど世の中の主役ではなくなってくるんです。若い時には許されたことでも、今では老害って言われます。くれぐれも主役ではないことを悟っていただけるとありがたい。

Red and White Spider Lillies
Location: Kinchakuda Manjushage Park, Saitama Prefecture, Japan
Timestamp: 11:58 September 27th (Kinchakuda Manjushage Festival)
On this photo shoot, I was able to enjoy a sea of red spider lilies blanketing the park grounds beneath the tree canopy. Amidst this crimson display, a few white spider lilies gracefully emerge here and there, adding a touch of contrast.
While capturing a close-up shot, I took care not to touch the spider lilies as they are toxic and can cause skin irritation upon contact.
If you visit this park with children or pets, exercise extra caution to prevent any accidental ingestion or contact with any part of the plant.
