The words made Eve smile, a laugh rumbling out of her at the prospect. "It's not that I don't want to, my darling, I promise," she told her, tugging her hair up a bit. "It's that if I do, we'll NEVER leave the bed today."
Not that there was anything wrong with that of course, but she knew they couldn't hide away from the world forever. She needed food at the very least, and as much as she wanted to keep Bella all to herself today, she couldn't imagine that was all Bella wanted to do. Then again, they both seemed to have the SAME insatiable appetite for each other so maybe she did.

Hocus Pocus Starters - @ode-of-odr mused: “You know, I’ve always wanted a child.“
The idea of children was something that Eve had been going and forth on for many, many years. Some days, the thought of the pitter patter of tiny feet brought her JOY, but other times she worried that she wouldn't be good for a kid. Certainly she was the motherly sort, and she'd love them more than anything in the world, but she was so unstable lately and currently, they had this little...tadpole problem.
"All the more reason to get these unwelcome little visitors of ours out of our heads." Eve smiles a little though, looking him over. "Hard to SERIOUSLY think about bringing children into the world when we could turn at any moment..."
At the same time, it was hard not to ponder such things when they ran into kids on their travels. Just being amongst the Tiefling orphans for long enough had had Eve wanting to keep them at camp if for no reason other than to keep them safe and sound. So...perhaps it wasn't hard to think about kids, it just didn't seem like a viable option to attain at the moment.

▸ ARE THEY OKAY WITH THEIR HEIGHT ? She is! She feels like she is the perfect height to both see things, and still blend in if she needs to.
▸ WHAT’S THEIR HAIR LIKE? Red: a fiery auburn. It is thick and can be curly, so she wears it as such, though sometimes it looks straighter and she braids it. She likes to keep it on the longer side, but every once in a while she'll chop some of it off to keep everyone on their toes. (However, she will cry if it gets cut not by her choice.)
▸ DO THEY SPEND A LOT OF TIME ON THEIR HAIR / GROOMING? Oh, yes. Eve grew up with a mother who was very proud of her royal blood, and instilled in her children the need to stay groomed. So, Eve has picked up on the habit of sometimes spending a little too much time on her looks, and will always bathe if it is possible for her to do so.
▸ DOES YOUR MUSE CARE ABOUT THEIR APPEARANCE / WHAT OTHERS THINK ? I mean...at the end of the day she does. She definitely will do things based on her own wants and what she thinks is right, etc., but it does bother her when people think things of her that aren't true. Eve wants people to think highly of her and trust her at the end of the day, and so she definitely knows how to dress to impress when she needs to.

▸ HAS YOUR MUSE LOST ANYONE CLOSE TO THEM? HOW HAS IT AFFECTED THEM? Yes...the very first person she wanted to soul bond to, ended up betraying her. They were insanely close, and their relationship was very complicated, but it ended with her not only losing him, but having to be the one to kill him. At the end of the day it came down to either her or him, and she chose to save herself, stopping him from killing her, by killing him herself. It has deeply affected every relationship that she has had since--she is always waiting for the other shoe to drop.
▸ WHAT ARE SOME FOND MEMORIES YOUR MUSE HAS? Growing up, Eve had an older brother and eventually had a younger sister. While such elven relationships weren't usual, but Eve enjoyed having siblings. It taught her a lot about sharing and interacting with others, and she loved it. She especially loved being able to do plant magic with them.
▸ IS IT EASY FOR YOUR MUSE TO KILL? No, it is not. While she is more likely to choose that as an option now after everything she has been through, killing is not 'easy'. It is simply sometimes a means to an end.
▸ WHAT’S IT LIKE WHEN YOUR MUSE BREAKS DOWN? It depends a little on the her wild magic. Whatever the case, she is a panic attack kind of girl, and it will end in sobs, but if her magic also acts up, then it is an absolute mess. She might not be able to voice that she doesn't want to be alone either, but she absolutely doesn't, which can make it all get even messier sometimes.
▸ IS YOUR MUSE CAPABLE OF TRUSTING SOMEONE WITH THEIR LIFE? She is, it just takes more now to be one of those people. If you can get through her walls for that, then you will be considered someone she can truly trust.
▸ WHAT’S YOUR MUSE LIKE WHEN THEY’RE IN LOVE? Eve is loyal to a fault and extremely devoted. She will constantly do things for you, get you gifts, plan surprises, and try very hard to make sure that you feel loved. It's something she has contemplated before: the nature of scars. With the two that mar her face and her neck, it's hard not to think about scars a good amount, and she's always been told similar things. Scars tell a story, and remind one of what they survived. It's a mantra she has to say over and over to remind herself that she's not in fact broken, but seasoned like a good meal.
"It's certainly something that we tell ourselves," Eve admitted, giving a gentle smile and then feeling it damper a little as she got a little more contemplative. "Do you ever wonder how much of it is for show though? Even if we know it's true, it feels like one of those things we say to stay positive--takes time to believe it."

Eve's Thoughts on the Companions
LAE'ZEL: Eve thinks Lae'zel is very interesting. She's intense, and she is singularly minded, but she seems to be just about the most loyal person that Eve's met in a long time. They have to band together out of necessity, but even with her gruff demeanor, Eve trusts her judgement in battle situations. She certainly tells her to chill though on multiple occasions when things can be solved with respect and communication over fighting. At the same time, once she learns more about Vlaakith, Eve finds herself liking Lae'zel even more. She's been trying so hard to live a life that her Queen would be proud of, but in this whole endeavor, Lae'zel is also finding herself while not compromising her beliefs. It's that kind of strength, Eve is drawn to in people, and she just wants Lae'zel to be happy.
SHADOWHEART: Eve adores Shadowheart, but she also goes back and forth between trusting her judgment. Because she makes it very clear in the beginning that this is out of necessity, Eve does have a wall up, but eventually, she grows to want to protect this young woman from herself. She doesn't believe in shaming anyone for their religion, but very much doesn't believe in Shar either. Eve LOATHES the Shadowlands. She very much tries not to talk about Shar as much as she can, because when it comes to this, she wants to protect Shadowheart from this, what she believes to be, a horrible influence, and it isn't until she can see the cracks in Shadowheart learning it for herself that she will push against it. She knows from personal experience that you can't force someone to see the light, and she knows there is a chance that she herself is wrong. All that matters to her in the end, is that Shadowheart is happy.
ASTARION: Eve appreciates that Astarion is a chaotic kindred spirit, but he's definitely far more chaotic than she is in most instances. She vividly remembers him pulling out a knife on her--of which she threatened to make him eat it--but even then, she understood. She tries very hard to try to get him to see that being kind doesn't hurt them in any way, but the more he opens up, the more she gets why he gets so bratty about that to begin with. It also makes it easier for her to open up to him later, because in being vulnerable herself, she hopes he realizes she's being genuine about wanting what's best for him. Once again, another person she would love to save from themselves, as she's very anti-ascension, but very pro-Astarion.
GALE: This one I think is the most complex (aside from Minthara), just because her initial reaction to him isn't entirely positive. Eve grew up in a time of war, where the only outside experience she has with human mages, is as enemies. They sided with the Fey'ri that tried to destroy her circle and her family, and the man that tried to rip her throat out. So, she finds this wizard stuck in a portal and while the magic and his knowledge intrigues her, she's not sure she can trust him. However, he is nothing like she expected, so while she started with banter and pointing out at every turn that she is in fact made of magic so how dare he talk down to her about the Weave, she is drawn to his knowledge and his passion for magic. She loves that she can talk to him about books and the weave, and that even though his arrogance rivals her own, he's a gentle soul that cooks for them, and genuinely cares. She also finds herself endeared to him the moment she realizes that the feeling of dread she has around him is in fact the orb, and she hates that it brings him such pain. Karsus is actually something they could talk about, as she's been in the tainted part of the High Forest that holds his body from his fall, and she does know a little about that. She just wants him safe and Mystra-free.
WYLL: Honestly, Wyll endeared himself to Eve pretty quick. Not only was he the fabled Blade of Frontiers, fighting off goblins to help the Tieflings, but Eve found herself more interested in the fact that he is so good with the Tiefling kids. Being someone that loves kids and animals as it is, she's so happy to meet a kindred spirit. He's got layers just like she does, was also raised with proper etiquette, and she bonds with him almost immediately. She's quick to believe his plight, just because she already feels like they have things in common.
KARLACH: Since she met Wyll first, she at first thought of Karlach as someone other than who she was, but even upon the first meeting, that idea of her was completely turned upside down. She was nothing like the vision of her that Wyll had in his head, and it almost immediately made her do a double take. It was clear, that Wyll was being deceived, and it makes Eve feel really bad about thinking the worst of her before they met. Talking to her sets them straight, and Eve is quick to believe her, not only because she likes to give people the benefit of the doubt, but because Karlach seems so very genuine. The more they get to know each other, the more Eve feels like they're the moms of their merry little band of misfits, and she loves how caring Karlach is, and how beautiful she is inside and out.
HALSIN: As an archdruid, Halsin reminds Eve a little bit of her father, who is also an archdruid. He's also big like her dad, and a calm, happy-go-lucky wood elf, so she's immediately drawn into a comfortability with him. The more she gets to know him, the more she enjoys his company, but she's not as anti-city as him at all. Eve loves the city. She understands where Halsin is coming from, but she isn't really in agreement, as much as she likes nature herself. She's also not big on the casual sleeping around thing, so they differ in that respect as well. Not saying she would never do it, it's just not her philosophy. Regardless of all of that, Eve adores Halsin and respects him very, very much.
JAHEIRA: As a 'former' druid, Eve does look up to Jaheira a lot. She has a lot of experience, and a lot of knowledge to pass down, but Eve is meeting her in her Sorceress era, so she's probably not as excited as she would have been prior to realizing who she is at her core. She is younger than Jaheira, but because she's definitely older than almost everyone she's travelling with (she's only younger than Halsin and Astarion), she's not a fan of being called 'Cub'. However, she will steal that and calls the others similarly, and Jaheira has a lot of her RESPECT.
MINSC: Honestly, Eve has NEVER met a funnier person than Minsc, and she absolutely adores Boo. She thinks that he's big, goofy and super sweet, and she would protect him with her life. She also probably 'sweet summer child's him a lot, if I'm being completely honest, but other than that, I don't see them butting heads TOO much. At the same time, I can see them bickering over all sorts of things, but I think they both mean it playfully.
MINTHARA: This one is so hard to even answer because honestly...being an Elf, Minthara addresses you as 'Fairy' in the most derogatory tone I have ever heard in my entire life and she got murdered. I haven't done a playthrough yet where I've had Minthara, but Eve does not like her right away, and something tells me they'd have a hard time getting along, but that doesn't mean they would stay enemies in an RP universe. I can absolutely see them eventually getting along in an RP setting, especially given what I have seen of Minthara's story. I think that it would be so much fun to explore, just because they are pitted against each other right off the bat, but something tells me that digging deeper they would both understand each other better in the end.

@wizofwaterdeep gets random fluff!
Gale had seemed a little down as of late, and since that was weighing heavily on Eve's heart, she decided to do something special for him. Not that she wouldn't have done something nice for him regardless, but she especially wanted to make him feel as SPECIAL as she thought he was. Perhaps that would make him feel a little more important and if not, at least he might feel loved.
He had spent part of the evening making everyone dinner, and she thought that it was high time that he got a grand gesture. So, she sent him a magical note, wishing she could make a simulacron, but this was just as well. Having a note flutter in as a magical BUTTERFLY was more 'her' she supposed, and she kind of wished she could see the look on Gale's face when he got it. A late night meeting in the moonlight? That was right up Gale's alley, wasn't it?
Even better, they had finally made it to the city, so a moonlit rooftop date felt like the right choice to show him what he meant to her. Given how much he seemed to miss Waterdeep, she figured Gale probably felt so much more at HOME in the city. So, when he found her, she had pointed out the telescope she'd gotten for the occasion--though she hadn't said quite HOW she had gotten it, and after presenting him with a flower crown and enjoying some wine and a little stargazing, eventually they'd ended up with his head in her lap as he read to her from one of the books she'd gotten for him, her fingers carding through his hair.
"Have I ever told you how much I LOVE listening to you read?" Eve mused affectionately, smiling at him with love in her eyes as she leaned down to press a kiss to his forehead. "You do so much for all of us, and you really don't take enough time to RELAX. I think you should let me do things like this for you more often so that you can have a breather. You deserve to be spoiled, in case you didn't know..." He had too many burdens on his shoulders she wanted to carry with him. "I will always be willing to spoil you."

@luckhissoul gets our starter!
The pull of the magic that Eve felt was far different than any that she was used to, and yet it pulled her in a way that only magic could. Deep down, she knew she probably shouldn't have touched the runes in the caves, especially with the AURA they were emitting, but now this: now she was displaced, and it did not feel the same at all, even though it was also a cave.
Venturing out a little, she knew she wasn't in Faerun anymore, especially given how the buildings off in the distance looked. There were roads that were paved and there were far less trees, and a little bit of panic started to rise up inside of her but she couldn't let that win. Eve needed her wits about her: especially when she saw someone else looked as out of it as she was.

There was a lot that she definitely wanted to say, but perhaps it was best that she DIDN'T. Then she would have to get into the nitty gritty details about things that she would prefer to keep hidden from everything--things that were still too painful for her to dwell too much on. At the same time, she knew that eventually she was going to have to talk about it, especially when she was reacting to things like this.
“I appreciate that, I really do,” she manages, shaking her head a little bit and then returning to the potion she's making. “Admittedly, it's not an exciting story anyway, I assure you.”
Actually, it probably was to someone other than her, but she simply would prefer to gloss over it and instead focus on what she's doing. She's trying to be helpful, and making health potions, and she'd rather talk about THAT.

Eve knew that Caspian had a lot to do, especially as the new King to his people. She wanted to be by his side through every single bit of it, but there were a few things that she had had to do as well. So, for just a few weeks, she had left to take care of some things in the High Forest, and had then returned. She was never expecting to be gone forever, but she was quite relieved that Caspian seemed so happy to see her upon her return.
“I missed you too,” she promised, stealing a tender kiss and then wrapping her arms around him in a loving embrace. “I knew you were busy--I didn't actually think you'd have too much time to miss me, but I missed you. I also brought back a surprise or three if you're interested? Do you have time to sneak away for just a little bit?”
