#… i can't even find the 'mail' thing in the menu now?? wth tumblr
Note
hey, just wanted to let you know that i also wasn’t trying to start a debate, which is why i was using tags to express my thoughts instead of replying to you directly. in the circles of tumblr im usually in, using tags to reply to someone else’s tags isn’t seen as “rude” but rather as a way to react to something someone said without starting a full-out conversation where they’re obligated to reply to you. i apologize that it came off differently. my intent was to express confusion and explain why it isn’t a case of infantilization. and that remains my opinion—i believe it’s a different situation than the examples you gave in your reblog—but as you said, you clearly have thoughts that go beyond what you tagged, so i don’t have a full grasp of your own opinion. that’s another reason that i only replied indirectly through the tags, because i wasn’t trying to argue with something that i obviously didn’t have a full picture of. i just want to make it clear that i was not commenting in the tags to be rude or to start a debate, rather the opposite
thanks for clarifying <3
also, i was in an especially bad mood yesterday when your reblog popped up in my notifications, and. well. A Reaction happened.
(never got the hang of 'mail'; why no private reply option? 'answer' is just a new post… ah well. i can delete/make private if you wish so.)
