Lila Violet
attractiveness:
repulsive / hideous / ugly / not attractive / unappealing / not unattractive / meh / no preference / ok / mildly attractive / nice looking / cute / adorable / attractive / pleasant on the eyes / good looking / hot / sexy / beautiful / gorgeous / hot damn / would tap that / perfect / godlike / holy fuck there are no words.
“As I’ve mentioned before with that Chandra woman, Earthlings have proven themselves to be a very diverse species in terms of physical appearance. Few have proven quite appealing to my tastes,” he admitted, glancing out at the woodland scenery he had parked in from his ship’s observation deck. The foliage had decayed upon the first arrival of winter, smothered in a thick blanket of white snow. It reminded him of Arcos, if only superficially. “Lila is one of them. Between her natural coloring and physical build, I would be lying if I said she wasn’t attractive.”
Particularly regarding her waistline. The curve of her hips had caught his eyes, though he never let them linger for long, considering the only time he was ever close enough to view them was when he was in her visual vicinity and thus setting her on edge, making him pay attention to her as a whole for any sudden, hostile movements.
At the very least, the rest of her was nice to look at too.
personality:
grating / irritating / frustrating / boring / confusing at best / awkward / unreasonable / psychotic / disturbing / interesting / engaging / affectionate / aggressive / ambitious / anxious / artistic / bad tempered / bossy / charismatic / appealing / unappealing / creative / courageous / dependable / unreliable / unpredictable / predictable / devious / dim / extroverted / introverted / egotistical / gregarious / fabulous / impulsive / intelligent / sympathetic / talkative / up beat / peaceful / calming / badass / flexible.
“Her personality wavers between providing amusement and proving vexatious when dealing with her. She’s quite challenging to get along with and unreasonable in her demands. Not to mention how tiresome it is to listen to the many, many insults she so freely hurls,” towards him in particular, sometimes unprovoked. He wasn’t surprised: there was a bristling rage within her, hidden beneath her sardonic demeanor, quick to poison her words and fuel her desire for conflict. Her desire for a fight. Her desire for an outlet, he would assume (and would note for further potential use).
“Nonetheless, she isn’t without her virtues. I can commend her attempt to defy me, however futile it proved to be. Her tenacity and strength is to be applauded…if only she would put them to better use.”
how likely they would have sex with them:
not if they were the last person on earth and the world was ending / fuck no! / never / no way / not likely / not sure / indifferent / I’m asexual / maybe / probably / it depends / fairly likely / likely / yeah sure / yes / would tap that / hell yes / fuck yes! / wishing that could happen right now / as many times as possible / we are already having sex.
“Considering the current standing of our relationship, I doubt such liaisons would occur,” Cooler remarked with a dry inflection, his muscular arms folding across his chest. Despite that admission, his obsidian lips twitched briefly in consideration, and he added to his answer, “I won’t rule out the possibility, however. Passion and loathing can make for some interesting bedfellows.”
level of friendship:
never in a million years / worst of enemies / enemies / rivals / indifferent / neutral / acquaintance / friendly toward each other / casual friends / friends / good friends / best friends / fuck buddies / bosom buddies / practically the same person / would die for them / true friends / my only friend.
“Oh, she despises me, there is no doubt about that," he acknowledged, bringing a hand up and stroking his chin thoughtfully. "For a time, I had reciprocated, and thought it beneficial to simply kill her and do away with a possible threat. However, I now see that there is potential within her, and it would be a shame to kill her when she could serve a greater purpose. She won’t outright bend to my will, but there are other methods to gain her as an ally…”
first impression of them:
i hate them so much / i don’t like them / i don’t trust them / they annoy me / they’re weird / I’m indifferent / meh / they seem alright / they’re growing on me / truce / I think I like them / I like them / I’m not sure if I trust them / I trust them / they’re cool / they’re genuine / I think we’re going to get along / I really like them / I think I’m in love / oh fuck they’re hot / I love them.
current impression of them:
i hate them so much / i don’t like them / i don’t trust them / they annoy me / they’re weird / I’m indifferent / meh / they seem alright / they’re growing on me / truce / I think I like them / I like them / I’m not sure if I trust them / I trust them / they’re cool / they’re genuine / I think we’re going to get along / I really like them / I think I’m in love / oh fuck they’re hot / I love them.
“The moment I discovered her, I wanted her allegiance. Killing my men is no easy feat, considering I only allow the best to have a place in my Empire. But she refused me. A mistake that would have cost the life of anyone else, but not her,” Cooler chuckled lowly, recalling her trickery. Infuriating as it was at the time (to the point he wanted her dead, without entertaining other possibilities to control her), his rage had simmered once rationalization had cooled it. Now, he could see the potential in that sort of cunning. “We held a temporary truce not too long ago, to stop that abomination she called a friend. She asked me to spare that thing once it returned to its human veneer, unknowingly giving me an advantage over her that perhaps she wasn’t aware of. An advantage I intend to use when the time is right…”
Perhaps she won’t become his soldier, but that was fine. He didn’t necessarily need her as just another underling in his army. He could find other uses for her, and for that intriguing power of hers. His smirk turned sly with scheming.
“Yes, it is only a matter of time before I get what I want.”

so i went a little feral in the tags of a post with this screenshot this morning, and well... i started a thing
cw - baby plot bunny, monarch is very handsy, everyone is very out of character because i don't know what i'm doing, aged-up characters, mention of Gabriel/Harry/Mr Ramier, mention of Lila/Chloe, mind control, endgame feluka
Since unlocking the true potential of his power and learning he really could evilize and release more than one akuma, Agreste manor slowly became more occupied and more interesting, in Argos's opinion. He kept away, in an apartment lair of his own paid for by his heists, mostly because there was only so much of his uncle's presence and personality he could take. But he did visit occasionally for tea and to assess the newest villain Monarch brought home like a stray pet.
There were the ones Argos expected. Psychomedian and Mr Pigeon were the first, being Monarch's secret public lovers after all. Lila, upon learning of Monarch's new strength, practically kicked the door down and demanded to have her Volpina powers returned to her, which Monarch granted, and not wanting to be overshadowed by her girlfriend, Chloe followed shortly after and was crowned Queen Wasp once more.
And then there were others he didn't expect...
Monarch was so excited, so giddy when he came up from his lair that day, Argos worried he'd found Adrien at last. Shortly after the akumatized villains began to move in, his cousin disappeared. He worried, sending out sentis on search of the other blond. One returned one night with a note from Adrien, stating he was safe and in hiding. A paw print in the corner of the note was all the clue Argos needed as to why. He burned the note.
But the akumatized man that entered was not Adrien. Argos observed him from the top of the stairs, eyes narrowed behind his fan.
At first glimpse, there was nothing particularly exceptional about the man striding in. Tall, broad-shouldered... even from where he stood, Argos could see the ripples of muscles under the black and purple suit. Whoever he is, he works out, the peacock thought, flicking his wrist to move his fan. Little puffs of air cooled suddenly warm purple cheeks. The new villain wasn't flashy either. He didn't hurl his powers around or try to show-off.
And yet the gathering of akumatized villains and sentis parted for him. Even Volpina and Queen Wasp cowered away, both holding their hands to their mouths, as if afraid to speak in his presence. The fear that rose up among them was so palpable that Argos didn't need the empathic powers of the Peacock Miraculous to feel it.
Why? Argos wondered as the man stopped in the center of the room, waiting to be received by his master. Why do they fear him?
But then he felt it. Nothing. All the others reeked of emotion, like perfume fogging the air. This man, however, had nothing. Felt nothing.
His heart and soul were completely silent.
Fitting, Argos huffed. The stranger's face was obscured, hidden by his helmet that covered his face like a muzzle. A wicked green grin was painted over where his lips would be.
"Welcome, welcome!" Monarch crowed as he came in from his office lair. "Welcome to your new home."
The helmeted man bowed, standing up straight as Monarch stopped in front of him. Curious, Argos left his spot to wander closer. Seeing him in the corner of his eye, Monarch beckoned his nephew to join them.
"How handsome you are," Monarch sighed, daring to touch the helmeted man under his chin to tilt it up. He turned the man's head to let the light catch on his pale blue skin. "I would have preferred Truth, but you... You will do just fine."
"I don't think I've seen you this happy about akumatizing someone," Argos hummed behind his fan as he joined them. An instinct warned him to keep his distance, so the peacock stayed at arm's length from the two.
"Aaahhh, that's because this one is rare, Argos..." Monarch circled the man, inspecting him. The master's hands cupped his new puppet's shoulders. "Mr Ramier, I've akumatized hundreds of times... Even this one's family are easy prey on bad days when pickings are slim... But him..."
He gently grasped the akuma's hand, guiding it up so Monarch could kiss his knuckles. To the helmeted man's credit, he didn't react. His green eyes focused ahead without seeing, though Argos did feel a twinge of disgust. The peacock smiled behind his fan.
"This one, I have been trying to catch for years... How many times have I blessed you ever? Twice?"
The akuma held up his free hand and three fingers.
"Of course," Monarch chuckled. "This would be the third time." He removed his hands and stepped away, lurking behind Argos to whisper in his ear. "My dear nephew... I present to you the purest heart in all of Paris. The man who cannot, will not lie... Others call him Luka Couffaine, but here, among his new family in his new home, he is Silencer."
Green eyes flicked to Argos, seeing him at last. Silencer gave him a bowing nod in reply to the peacock's quiet "how do you do".
"An apt name," Argos hummed. "You don't say much. I like that in others."
"Ah, thank you for reminding me." Monarch turned his gaze to the others gathered and raised his voice. "A volunteer! I need a volunteer! You there, Volpina! Come here, my dear. Make yourself useful for a change. Silencer needs a voice!" His lowered to a grumble. "And I've had enough of your screeching..."
But the helmeted man lifted a hand and mimicked talking with it. When he spoke, it was with a voice that turned Argos's blood to ice.
"That won't be necessary, master," Silencer replied with Adrien's voice. "I've found a voice already."

New TUA S3 fic? New TUA S3 fic.
Eh, maybe I'll finish it and post it tonight. But this is very fresh, and I don't know where it's going.
-----
It takes a year for the cosmic consequences to show up.
Oh, there's immediate consequences – no powers, family splintering, so on and so on.
Luther…doesn't find Sloane. He tries, oh he tries and it breaks Viktor's heart to see it, but none of the Sparrows, minus Ben, had been re-spawned as it were.
Viktor had hopes Harlan might have, he was too realistic to think Sissy did even with Luther being resurrected, but no. Anyone they truly wanted alive – Grace, Stan, old friends and family – were gone, people of this universes pass or never born.
The exception is Allison, Viktor follows her life like he had before – through newspapers and celebrity gossip magazines. She got Ray, and Claire, and a career that skyrocketed way beyond what it had been originally.
"She traded Sloane for that," Luther said once, deep in a bottle. Viktor hadn't argued. Allison traded a lot of her needs, even before this all started. The family causalities piled up.
If Allison misses them, regrets it, any of it, Viktor doesn't know. He doesn't want to ask either. He'll leave that to Klaus.
To Five's frustration, there's no end of the world. Viktor thinks he wants one because it would be an excuse to leave this one behind. This world, this universe, built in Reginald Hargreeve's image. He'd had it perfectly planned, a history pre-written to put him on top of the world with sheer, capitalist might. But there's no danger, just rage at the situation, the world, and well. Viktor is very used to being under the controlling influence of their father.
This is almost better, actually. Sure, his money comes from Dad and it goes right back to him for living expenses, the whole city a huge miner's town, but Viktor is free to live his live as he pleases. There's no being shoved into corners and belittled by cruel father, there's no looking over his shoulder for a threat.
He'll never admit it, but this new world? New life? It's not that bad.
Diego and Lila have a boy. They name him Stanford instead of Stanley for conversation ease, but still call the kid Stan and he looks more like them than the original.
Klaus and Luther are a bizarre pair of housemates, but Klaus's ability to just roll with things is good for him. Ben ditched them as soon as possible, but Klaus has a guest room ready all the time. Just in case.
Five uses it more often. He hasn't really settled, too eager to find a crack in the Hargreeves empire to widen, and he flits between homes. Diego and Lile's tight townhouse, Klaus and Luther's family apartment, Viktor's modest studio.
He searches for legal loopholes, for the entrance to this world's Oblivion, but Reginald had been planning for a universe reset for years and had covered all his bases. In the year since they'd stepped out of the machine, powerless, Five has found nothing.
The one place Five doesn't look, Viktor learns too late, is beyond the universe. After all, someone had built Oblivion.

The King and the consort
<---Previous
Chapter 6
Everyone seems to know what Grindelwald told him that day; the nobles in the castle congratulate him the next morning, bowing in front of him every time they see him walking around the castle.
However, Newt has noticed that not everyone is okay with him being courted by the King. He knows it's because Newt is a nobody (and they're right) although Queenie always tells him he shouldn't pay attention to what the others say.
One day, when he sees his friends again, Newt notices that Tina is a little bit nervous and she's about to bow, but he puts a hand on her shoulder to stop her.
"No, please... Not you. I want someone to treat me like I'm just a person for a moment," Newt says, desperate. He's definitely not used to be seen like that and he doesn't think he'd want his friends to feel like they couldn't talk to him like they used to. "You're my friends and I'd like for you to see me just like that: a friend."
"Of course, sweetie," Queenie hugs him tight and Newt feels better immediately.
"However, you'll have to get used to all of this," Tina makes a gesture with her hands towards the whole chamber and the things in it. "If you decide to continue with the courtship. You'll be the Consort when you marry our King so everyone is going to treat you like this all the time."
Newt bites his bottom lip and nods; he knows accepting the courtship means his life will change completely and although he likes Grindelwald, he's not sure he's ready to be his Consort.
Jacob walks towards him from the other side of the chamber, where he was giving Lila a little bit of meat and sits next to Newt before smiling at him.
"I know you'll do great, Newt," he assures him. "The King needs to learn how to be kind and I know you can help him with that."
Newt would like to say that Gellert is already kind, he's been nothing but kind to him since he met him.
Queenie has always been really good at reading expressions, sometimes it seems like she can hear other people's thoughts.
"He's kind to you because he's in love with you, sweetie. However, he can learn to be kind to everyone, if you teach him or if you ask him."
Newt shakes his head, still refusing to believe he has so much power over a King.
***
"Newt?"
It seems he's getting used to the little changes of being the King's Consort more than he thought he would because when Theseus opens the door and stares at him with a confused expression, Newt has no idea why he's acting that way.
Until it hits him of course.
"Oh, right. The clothes," he mumbles before walking in the house.
"And the tiara," Theseus adds, frowning.
Newt's fingers feel the cold metal upon his head and he immediately blushes, remembering the moment when Gellert gave it to him; he kissed him afterwards.
"It was his mother's," he mumbles as his blush spreads down his neck and the corner of his lips quirk up. "Gellert–The King. He's courting me."
Theseus blinks a couple of times at him, right after narrowing his eyes. Newt knows he's not angry at him, but he's certainly not happy.
"No."
"No?"
"I don't approve of this," Theseus almost growls, prompting Lila to move away. She's not happy to see him walk so quickly towards her Mummy.
The dragon suddenly sits closer to Newt, a little bit tense. Niff on the other hand is used to Theseus's overprotective side, so he doesn't worry.
"I like him," Newt retorts, trying not to roll his eyes at his brother. He knew this would happen.
"Being the Consort won't be easy. You could be in danger. Besides, King Grindelwald is not good. How could you like him?"
"He's kind," Newt argues, feeling a little bit irritated. "He wants to make me happy and he cares about the creatures in the castle. He's helped me take care of them a couple of times."
"That doesn't mean he's a good man."
"He is," Newt insists and bites his lips. "He's trying to be better."
Theseus takes Newt's hand and looks at him in the eye before mumbling:
"At least let me be there with you, so I can make sure you're alright."
***
Newt doesn't ask the King to allow his brother into the castle, at least not yet; he doesn't want anyone to think he's trying to get Gellert to give him things...
The guards and the knights treat him different now, for some reason Abernathy doesn't talk to him too much anymore.
The man who's in charge of making his clothes asks him if he'd like a blue and green robe for his wedding to which Newt responds shyly that the courtship hasn't ended yet.
"We... We haven't talked about that yet," he stammers, prompting the man to roll his eyes.
"You mean you don't know if you want to marry him? Because my lord would say 'Yes' if you told him you wanted to marry tomorrow. He's in love."
The woman who helps the designer nods at him.
Newt doesn't know what to say, instead he waits until the man puts him a new robe and walks out of there to check on the creatures.
"Liebling, I was looking for you," the King says, taking Newt's hand. The people around look at them almost in awe. "We'll have a ball in a couple of days to celebrate winter. Would you dance with me, my love?"
Even though Newt wouldn't say 'No' he's glad Gellert decided to ask him first anyway.
"Of course."
"Excellent. I'll announce officially that you're my intended then, is that alright?"
Newt stares into Grindelwald's mismatched eyes and realizes that he actually wants to marry him.
"Yes, it's okay."
As if he can't help it, the King leans for a kiss and Newt sighs before kissing him back, suddenly wondering what did Theseus mean when he told Newt he could be in danger.
