Starter call! Yep, you saw correctly. I've been making progress in my drafts, and I realized since it was mentioned the other day that I function a little better under pressure, so, yes.

These will be a little shorter (and I'm going to be a little strict with myself on that so that I actually get them written), so expect roughly a paragraph and if it stems from an idea that we've spoken about in plotting or whatnot, then it might be a little longer. But generally, they will be shorter starters that knowing me, will become lengthier threads as the replies progress! This is also welcome to non-Genshin blogs, but then please remember that I do not have any verses outside of Yelan's game canon, and so I'll be looking at your Genshin verses!

On top of not being able to be social everywhere all the time, life is also getting increasingly demanding on some days (my landlord has kindly given notice that she'd like to move back into this apartment she's been renting to me, so a hefty move is in my very near future), and all I want to do is drown in the world of Teyvat. Now that I've finally used my stubborn brain to lasso my motivation to write back from the war, I want to actually keep trying to indulge in it daily, because I've been having fun, and the amount of engagement I've gotten has only added to that. So bear with me a bit, while I'm not shy by any means, I'm just not always the most social of beans, on top of wanting to focus my time on writing a bit more.

My apologies for the absence! I feel like a broken record saying this, but I keep entering different phases of 'settling into life' (went through a massive change in my personal life last year), and then every time I get to 'Ah, all is calm now', something else happens. But I'm finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, as one huge weight has now finally been lifted off my shoulders. Phew. /munches on my camembert and baguette.

The end of coding is in sight, I'll just be live updating it a lot once I put it up. I just need this done. I just need this done, I crave to write.

I'm unsure how many of you are awake, but for those who are... please help, I can't decide. 😭 I've been staring at these two versions in Photoshop for an age and a half. And part of me prefers the first one, but I also feel like it's too busy with the dice on the left. Am I overthinking it because I've been staring since forever? Possibly. But let's see if it's just me. Do you prefer the first or second one?

But Guizhong is returning and will run on low activity, alongside Yelan who will have most of my focus still. I'll be a little picky on her (her resurrection verse will also still be around) and I will resume any threads people may still be interested in writing. My bakery that's at 2 minutes away from my apartment said it was open the last three (realistically, it's probably two) times I went to go look over the last few days, but it was closed. It again says it's open now until 8PM as it always says— question is, do I venture down to see if it actually is so that I can grab a baguette?

I know the answer should be an easy 'yes Sae, because it's so close by', let me give you context: I still have a bruised as heck foot (primarily by my little toe) and I need to go down five flights of stairs because my building has no elevator. Is it still an easy yes?

I just wanted to note that it's finally come about: tomorrow (the 28th) is my official moving day, and I'll be temporarily staying with some relatives of mine (and I'm rather excited about it, as it'll put a ton of my stress of the last months to rest). Any way, this means that despite some possible activity from me on today, I'll be relatively quiet on Tumblr until I'm properly settled in later in the day on Sunday (when I've transported and hooked up my desktop and all of that). So if there's some silence like there was yesterday, it's simply me ensuring that everything is packed and moved over properly! Once settled however, I don't anticipate a big difference in my activity-levels, since as much as I'll be a bit social around food-times, I'm very based around my PC even for work. So I think that you'll see me around as per usual!

Me finishes the new mobile banner, uploaded it and accidentally came across an old WIP theme from last year that has draggable windows so it'll work for all resolutions across the board. So guess what I'm doing.

So sometimes, I note that I'm here and then life happens and then I end up not being here for a bit (5/6 hours) longer in typical Sae fashion. Aka: business as usual, at least for a bit longer. I still want to get to the reply I teased almost 12 hours ago, and the things you guys sent in for the HC prompt. So, let me make my tea, and get cracking.
