Random Headcanons
- Fairies smoke. They get high, oh they get so high. (Thanks @sydns for putting this idea in my head lol) The Fairy King's Forest has a spot where one can find the highest quality of herbs, one of the reasons why humans try to enter the forest in the first place. There are also far more crazier things that can be found in the Fairy Realm. None of the Sins know that King smokes because he didn't during his time with the Sins, his argument being that humans don't sell the good stuff. The first time anyone has actually seen King and Elaine smoke is at Gilthunder and Margaret's wedding.
- Goddess shed their feathers as they grow. It's kind of a weird sight to see
- Goddess and Fairies are known to have beautiful voices. The question of whose better is very subjective depends on who you ask. When a Goddess sings they bring a heavenly and ethereal feel. When a Fairy sings it's more enchanting and whimsical.
- Lancelot slept on Chastiefol once. Best nap ever.
- Lancelot became a bit overprotective over the Percy Platoon after the incident because he doesn't want anyone getting hurt again
- Lancelot didn't speak to Sixtus for months after Sixtus received Magliastira. Lance is just upset he didn't get a cool weapon
- Mael cried when he found out that Tristan named his swords after him
- Meliodas would sometimes talk to the horses in the castle stables, sometimes Ban would join in. King apologizes to the horses on their behalf
- Lancelot and Sixtus would use birds to carry messages to each other.
- Gowther taught Tristan how to curse in Demon language
- Gowther is Sixtus' favorite Uncle. "His weirdness is endearing." Sixtus said.
- Zeldris and Mael would sometimes have their own little tea parties in the Demon Realm. Meliodas found out about it and got upset he wasn't invited. "You don't even like tea." Zeldris argued. "That's not the point! It's the thought that matters, it's about a get together between brothers" after that they invited Meliodas, he really didn't last long.

Okay fun fact, i originally wrote this as a little jokey joke and also as a experiment to write other people than Monspeet & Derieri but it ended becoming a half joke instead.
The barrier that limits the powers of everybody hit fairies the most, as it dulled their ability to tune out hearts/minds. Which means when the gas station is going through rush hour or is busy in general, the fairies are often overstimulated and it would make them have migraines. And king got it worse because he only recently regained that ability and doesn't know how to tune out hearts/minds well.
So they smoked weed to calm them down during those times lol

It was 4pm in the Britannian gas station, and everything was just going as "usual". Except the strong smell of weed. It wasn't bad the first 2 hours, slightly noticeable but tolerable. But now people were complaining and that wasn't good.
Diane stormed up to the source, knowing exactly who was doing this. And angrly swung the door open; There sat Elaine, high, smoking a joint. Gerheade & Gloxinia were sitting back to back, Gerheade inhaling fumes from a bong. Everyone was still in uniform, but unclear if they were skipping or on break.
And there was King. laying on chastiefol crying his eyes out.
"King?!"
Diane rushed over to him with a napkin, wiping residue of his face. It was clear he ate something.
"King what happened to you??!"
She shook him slightly, hoping he'd get it together. But he only cried more. Then looking at a empty brownie tray in the corner, It was clear about what he ate.
"King stress ate the tray of edibles, it's only just starting to hit him now."
Diane looked at Elaine with concern. But King started to sob, everything was a distorted mess for him. Words and faces were jumbled up, He saw colors, and even helbram in the corner of his eye.
"Oh Harlequin you poor thing... Let's get out of here."
Holding him close she picked him up gently along with chastiefol. And halfway out the door, she looked back with disappointment.
"When y'all are finished please make sure to filter out everything. People are starting to complain."
"Okay." said Elaine.

I live in Europe so I couldn't see the solar eclipse but I'd like to share the story about how the first and only solar eclipse I saw almost got me blind.
We were in primary school and instead of taking us outside to educate ourselves about an eclipse, the school decided to confine everyone like it was some apocalypse.
I think you see where this is going.
With a group of friends, we faked going to the bathroom to go watch the eclipse without any protection.
They all got caught but not me as I immediately rushed to the bathroom to rinse my eyes because I got burned by watching the eclipse and was scared.
Wonderful memory 10/10

Tell me why while i was walking home from the bus stop during the eclipse and everything seemed so unnaturally clear, and hopeful?
I live in maryland so we didn't get a total eclipse, more like a crescent.
I felt like i was in one of those hopeful liminal spaces, and where i live it was so empty it was somewhat scary.
Even saw a fox on the trail which shocked me so much
