This isn't a Bed Friend post. This is a King post because he is the sexiest fictional character in these BL streets right now.

#1 - He knows the importance of LOCKING THE DOOR! This is the second time he has done this. My man gets it! Lock the damn door and close the blinds!

#2 - He picks Uea up and goes with him to get tested. He even opens the door for Uea. He isn't ashamed of having sex, and basically told that doctor "I had sex seven days, four hours, and thirty-two minutes ago. I wrote it in my diary because it was a 10/10, and I'm desperately trying to get it again, so can we move this absolutely necessary test along?"

#3 - He comforts Uea and reassures him that having sex isn't bad. He also removes Uea's shame mask. Okay, Gameboy!

#3b - King does this several times with Uea. He doesn't allow Uea to resent their encounter or blame himself for it.

#4 - He owns up to having and enjoying sex but is quick to squash the cheating and breaking hearts claim because being a slut does not equate to being reckless. I see you, boo boo!

#5 - He keeps asking Uea for his consent but also doesn't allow Uea to avoid him or make excuses.

#6 - The way he looks at Uea when Uea isn't paying attention shows he cares for Uea.

#7 - And the way he looks at Uea when Uea is paying attention shows he will devour him if allowed. *look at that manspread!*

#8 - He is already in love with Uea. I don't care what the show says. It's canon to me! King is deep in the red.

And the way the colors switch when Uea gives him the okay was ridiculously satisfying .

I know this was literally and figuratively the green light for King, but I see some blue, which brings me to the colors:

I'm sticking to my wild theory that King is a Blue Boy who is hiding something.

I'm sticking to my even wilder theory that what King is hiding is having been in love with Uea for a long time, perhaps since they were kids. *Don't look at me like that! It makes sense in my head!*

Because his love for Uea keeps showing up in the blue.

King, stay gold blue.

Why Pete will be attracted to Vegas

Ramblings of a mad person *long post*

HEAR ME OUT! I have not read the books, so this is completely based on the first five episodes, but Vegas deserves needs Pete.

The facts:

Pete is the one who tells Porsche about Kinn’s family in their room and then about Vegas’s family while waiting in line to greet them. Pete is the one who tells both Porsche and Kinn about the reasons each other behaves the way each one does. Pete is surprised Porsche doesn’t know about Kinn’s lovers and he knows about Porsche’s punishment, which surprises Porsche.

In the character trailers, Pete is the security room with all the surveillance cameras; therefore, he sees all and is armed with knowledge.

Pete KNOWS everything, so he has to KNOW who Vegas really is, or at least the rumors about him.

The case:

The first time we encounter Pete, he is dancing half-naked in his room and then eating food in his room, which is against the rules. The room is where he can be his true self *put a pin in this*

Obedience & Punishment:

During Porsche’s training, Pete laughs at Porsche’s pain all the time and then strictly tells him to stop complaining while smiling because these punishments, to him, are a form of care.

When Porsche is punished for the carps’ deaths (RIP Elizabeth & Sebastian), Pete feels uncomfortable with Porsche’s punishment, but when Khun asks him if he would rather take his place, he quickly says no and actually enjoys punishing Porsche.

When Porsche is choked by Kinn until he passes out, Pete is the one who tells Porsche he should thank Kinn for the punishment AND that he understands why Kinn is cruel due to his past *foreshadowing of why Vegas is cruel and why Pete will understand it*.

Khun doesn’t want Pete to be his bodyguard because he is a rule follower, but even when being scolded, Pete is enjoying it.

On the mission, Pete is the first to kick the man and continues to get in more kicks and aggressive kicks than Ken because he believes the man deserves his “lesson” aka punishment.

When Porsche indicates to Pete to take Porsche outside because Porsche is upset at the violence, Pete looks at Porsche, then back down at the man like he is missing out on the kicks, THEN looks back at Porsche like this, and finally takes Porsche outside.

We all have seen the talk they have outside, but once again, Pete is smiling throughout the conversation about lessons and superheroes, until he says this:

People have already analyzed how the line between good and evil is blurred for Pete, but I’m going to take it a step further and state Pete thinks they are the SAME. Punishment/pain is good and it’s good to be punished. Bring me my next point! After the pier kiss, Porsche wakes up in Pete’s bed and says he was dreaming he was kissing someone. Pete asks if it was a good or bad dream while smiling as if pleasure could be both.

When they are all eating after the spa, he is the only one in his uniform, and he is the first to jump out of his seat and greet Vegas AND remind him of the rules of the house (that he can’t sit with them because Kinn is near). Obedient as always.

When Vegas decides to break the rules and touches Pete, Pete jumps, but then…

At the auction, when Porsche is joking in the earpiece to Pete, Big scolds Porsche, and Pete smiles AFTER the scolding aka he finds pleasure in the punishment.

After the abduction, when they find Porsche in the hotel room, Arm helps untie Porsche, and Big and Ken are immediately dismissed, but Pete tries again to get Kinn to leave. When Kinn finally snaps at him, Pete looks offended that he can’t DO HIS JOB and not that he can’t help his friend. After Porsche is punished again, Pete tells Porsche about his first punishment and he begins the story looking upset but then STARTS SMILING .

At the club that night, Pete is literally standing in between Vegas and Porsche. He could protect Porsche knowing he has already been punished and is on thin ice, but instead when Porsche looks to him for support, he TELLS Porsche to go with Vegas (“Then you go. I’ll drive them home”).

When the bodyguards arrive home with Khun, Pete is the one to answer all of Kinn’s questions when they come in because he is obedient.

However, when Kinn asks who allowed Porsche to stay, Pete doesn’t own up to it, instead offering to go get him, once again showing his obedience.

Again, when Kinn goes directly to his room and asks Pete about Porsche’s whereabouts, Pete offers up ALL the information. No hesitation.

*take out that pin from earlier* Pete actually speaks back – “Don’t think I don’t know my place” – He is in HIS room and his natural state. He is half-naked again (literally and figuratively), and breaks the rules just like the first time we meet him.

However, he expects to be punished for his disobedience. When he isn’t punished, he goes through a RANGE of emotions He is happy? Upset? Confused? All the above.

During the conversation, Pete tells Kinn something similar as he did with Porsche after Kinn choked him that Porsche may seem hot-tempered but is sensitive so Kinn must be patient once again foreshadowing that Pete knows everything and is very aware of the beasts he faces.

Parallel:

Pete alone in his room is always half-naked and breaking rules. Pete outside is always wearing his uniform and following rules. He has a bad side but covers it with obedience and humor, and when he messes up, he wants to be punished – character message “I’m sorry. I am to spread more smiles than tears.”

We all know how Vegas behaves when no one is watching. When outside, he is kind and caring, but much like Pete, he is covering up his dark side.

Even in the character message, Pete cries looking down and when he looks up into the red light, he begins to smile. Vegas is the red light.

When in the tub, Pete experiences pleasure and pain from Vegas’s touch. “I will consume you” isn’t just for Pete but for Vegas. They are each other’s balance. One is pleasure (Pete) who craves pain, and the other is pain (Vegas) who desires pleasure.

Another element I really love about Cutie Pie The Series so far is the inclusion of the families being very accepting from day one. Also even though this is an "arranged marriage" it's not a situation where either of them are being forced into it. Neither of them are told "you have to marry each other" or they'll be disinherited or anything.

Instead these were two families who are very close, and Kuea's grandfather asked Lian to marry his grandson because he trusts him and loves Lian's family. Yes, Lian feels obligated to marry Kuea because Kuea's grandfather was the one that made his family who they are today, but Kuea's grandfather clearly gave him a choice in the matter.

I just love that both of their families support their relationship. We hardly ever see this in BLs, with both families being accepting from the get-go. But seeing their families support their relationship, and seeing that Kuea's grandfather himself was in a relationship with a man? We love to see it!

For once the families aren't a source of tension for the main couple, but the reason for their relationship in the first place.
