12 years ago today I took this picture on a short walk from my house with a really cheap camera, and for the first time it occurred to me that you don’t have to go to some exotic place or have an expensive SLR camera with lots of lenses in order to take beautiful pictures. Just show up somewhere while the world is being beautiful and do the best you can. And that’s what I’ve been doing ever since.

things that I would appreciate if people weren’t batshit insane on this website:
- random anonymous harassers not sending bait to a man who accosted me on my post trying to ‘defend’ me or use me to give legitimacy to their vileness when they continue to hound him.
- that same man not continuing to write fanfiction about me about how I am somehow happy that he’s being targeted by anonymous losers. quite frankly his idea that he was personally victimised by my post about sexual abuse is bordering on narcissism at this point.
can people even hear themselves. ‘smug’? why the fuck would I want anything to do with this. I only checked back on your blog to see if you were still dragging me through the mud, which I guess you are.

Schwarzenbach has written multiple books and has documented the rise of fascism in Europe and her travels to various European countries with her photographs.

so they get here much later than they say they would and they now only have 45 minutes when I thought we were going to have dinner. and I’m meant to not be pissed when they arrive
friend left at around 4:50pm or something and I’ve been waiting in various places now for my brother to arrive he’s getting in at 8:15pm. I wasn’t built to hang around in the centre of a city for so long this has sucked lol
