Happy New Year
Zac x reader
"I can't believe you hopped on a plane over to America. Just to experience New Year's again," you shook your head with a laugh.
"I didn't see why I couldn't," Zac shrugged, "I could easily celebrate in Japan with a huge concert, then fly to New York in time to see the ball drop."
It was hilarious how he mentioned it like it was no big deal. It was nearly enough to make you forget about the cold winter air. Why was New York so cold? Maybe he was splurging because the New Year was also his birthday.
"And you somehow managed to get a room with a view of said ball," you said. "Do you know how much that costs? Why are you paying that much?" It was hard to believe how your shining boy managed to do all of it.
"Nothing is too great for us." He wrapped an arm around your shoulder.
You subtly turned your head away to attempt to hide the growing blush on your cheeks.
The relationship between you was... complicated. You were friends, but... it seemed like something more. You went everywhere with him. He would give you sweet little gestures or gifts. Well, if you considered getting an extra plane ticket to another country to be 'little'. Though, you weren't officially a couple either. You two just did what you felt like and this is where it ended up. Everyone who didn't know you or Zac personally assumed you were a couple. And to be honest, you didn't mind.
The both of you headed to the place he was renting. The air nipped at any exposed piece of skin with sharp little teeth. You could see your own breath turn white and drift upward. Your hands gripped harder on the coat that Zac had lent you, pulling it closer against you to conserve heat while you held his hand to guide you.
The site of the American city would have enchanted you if it weren't for the cold. The tall buildings and everyone busy to get somewhere. The way the smallest flakes of snow drifted down. And his gentle, soft hand holding onto yours warmed you. Though all you wanted was to get inside, maybe cuddle against Zac for... no! What were you thinking? You firmly shook your head to the point it made your brain hurt.
Finally you reached the hotel. He insisted on you checking in while he hid around back. You honestly didn't know how popular Zac was in America, but you supposed it was better to not take any chances. You got the room key and texted Zac. He met you at the door where you waited for him.
"Here it is." You handed him the key.
"Thank you ever so much." His blue eyes sparkled.
He opened the door. You bit your lip, wondering now was as good a time as ever to ask.
"Um, where am I going to be staying?"
Not that you wanted him to pay for you, but you weren't sure if you could afford anything in New York, except for a cardboard box maybe. If you were lucky and Zac did what he usually did, he would have already arranged a place for you.
He looked back at you, with his hand still on the handle, and blinked a few time. Then his eyes widened as something clicked.
"Oh! I knew I should have asked. I... seeing as we're so close, I thought you wouldn't mind staying with me. You get your own personal bedroom, I promise. I made sure there would be one for you."
It was rare to see him panicking this much. The way he rambled on and his eyes darting everywhere made that clear. You put your hand on his shoulder. It always got his attention. His gaze settled back on you.
"It's okay," you said. "I just wanted to make sure I knew where I was staying."
He smiled and that shine came back to his face.
"Of course."
He opened the door and you followed in and shut the door behind you. There was a couch, a TV, and a window. You could already see throngs of people gathered down below.
"Do you suppose we could watch a movie or two before midnight?" He picked up the remote from the TV stand.
You looked at the clock conveniently in the room. Yeah, you could watch a movie to kill some time. You nodded and sat on the couch. He did the same and started to try to find something you both agreed on.
You enjoyed the movie, but you were very concious of your breathing, racing heart, and how close you were to Zac. That last part was something you never paid this much attention to until recently. It made it hard to focus on what was on the screen. You hardly noticed that Zac was making a lot less comments on it than he usually would.
Normally he would take note of the acting, whether live action or voice acting. He would comment on the soundtrack, the cinematography, and- gosh! You weren't sitting this close to him last time you check. This must have happened as both of you readjusted your sitting position again and again. Accidentally getting closer to each other until you were almost touching. You were stiff as a board.
It's okay. Just relax. And you did so, letting yourself sink into the movie and moment as best as you could. Oh! Now his shoulder was touching yours!
You looked up at the clock.
"Oh, it's ten minutes 'til."
He looked up.
"So it is."
You both, somewhat reluctantly got up and prepared got out the tiny confetti cannons. He played the news channel covering the event down below as background sound. You both actually played a little game over trying to find where the reporters on the TV were on the ground. He ended up singing along with a guest singer.
Ten seconds until.
The large, lit up ball slowly fell.

It changed from purple to a yellow-orange as it slowly lowered.

You gave an embarrassed smile.

There was something in his eyes that you couldn’t quite identify.

"HAPPY NEW YEAR!" You yelled as you pulled on the strings of your individual party cannons.
You jumped, laughed, and, on a whim, you hugged Zac. He didn’t mind at all. He laughed and spun you around. You felt your head spinning, from the swirling emotions and spinning.
"I love you."
It wasn't loud, but you definitely said it. You froze. Zac's shock didn't last long.
He flashed a smile. "I was about to say the same thing."
"Really?" You tilted your head.
"Er," he nervously laughed and scratched his jaw, "actually, no. I was too worried you wouldn't return my feelings." His temporary awkwardness quickly faded back into his usual confidence. "But now that I know you do return them..."
He held you close. You smiled, happy to feel his arm around you. Happy that you didn't have to hold back how you felt anymore.
"I wanted to try something." His fingertips lightly grazed underneath your chin.
He slowly leaned in and began to close his eyes, but not all the way. They studied you, waiting for your reaction and if you'd do the same. Which you did.
It was almost as if you felt sparks through his lips. They just brushed against each other, a small touch, and it stole your breath away and made your heart flutter. It was nice.
You were still starstruck as you both pulled apart. It was short, but amazing.
You smiled and cupped his face.
"Happy birthday."
"And happy new year, love."

Do you do beyblade burst evolution?
Unfortunately not yet.
I would love to at some point. Currently, I have only seen the first 22 eps of Burst, all of Turbo, all of Rise, 5 or less episodes of Surge, and the first episode of Dynamite Battle/QuadDrive.
Part of me is mortified I haven't watched Evolution or even finished Burst yet when I've somehow watched all of Rise (which isn't as good). Probably because I was watching it with my siblings as it was airing on TV (same with Turbo), while Evolution aired before I knew it existed.
It is on my to-watch list, but that list is very large and it will probably take a while for me to get to it. Check back in a few months if you want. I'll make a post saying when I've finished it. Thanks for the ask!

- He can hear it in your voice and the way you sigh when you're having a rough day
- If he can hear when a beyblade's moving differently, he can hear when you're trying to fake being okay.
- "It's okay to not be okay."
- And don't try to lie to him, he can tell.
- If you need space and time he'll definitely give it to you. Just know you can tell him anything.
- If you feel comfortable with talking about it, he'll listen to you. Absorbing every word and making you feel heard
- He'll hold your hand if he notices you're having a rough time
- Even if it's simply a day when you feel down, he'll hug you, stroking your hair as he hums into your ear
- If you ask, he's more than happy to play a song for you on the piano.
- Or even simply sing or hum to you.
- You will feel the safest you ever felt in his arms, as he strokes your hair and hums a special melody he made for you in your ear.
- But he'll be really gentle and thoughtful about it.
- The boy will literally ask you if you want advice or words of encouragement, he's so sweet with you and knows that sometimes you might not feel like advice and want to feel heard.
- And if you really want to talk, don’t keep telling him it's nothing. Because even if he knows you're lying, he won't push it because he respects you.
- So please be honest, you will get the best experience if you are and he will greatly appreciate it.

Sure thing! I hope it's good. Also, I don't know if you wanted a scenario or headcanons, so I went with headcanons.
Wakiya with a shy S/O
- He honestly doesn't understand why you're shy. He thinks you're amazing, but he'll hardly ever mention it because of his pride and he assumes you already know
- If other people make you uncomfortable, he's happy to tell the guys around him to leave. But he hopes you open up to Hoji.
- Though Wakiya will never admit it, he values Hoji a lot and knows he could help you to be a little less shy. As long as you don't spend all your time with Hoji and don't forget about him.
- Though, he only wants to help you break out of your shell if he thinks it's harmful to you
- If it isn't a problem or an extreme amount of shyness, then he'll let you be in that regard.
- At some points, you probably mellow out his arrogant attitude, and reel him in when he needs it.
- But either way, you'll probably meet and befriend the Bey club at some point if you haven't already.
- Wakiya probably gets annoyed when Valt keeps stealing you to have Bey battles (if you have a Bey, if you don't, this only occurs once because Valt assumed you had one)
- He won't force you into situation that make you feel uncomfortable
- He doesn't understand why you're shy, but he accepts and respects it.
- To be honest, Wakiya thinks you're better than him.
- If you ever get stressed out, he'll hold your hand. Or hug you tight when your alone.
- It's hard for him to truly let someone in, which truly says something about you.

Are you taking requests for beyblade burst characters like headcannons?Cause if so I was wondering if you could write some orochi having a s/o headcannons?Maybe he plays their favorite songs they like when he has the time on the piano or makes playlists for them.
I wasn't sure whether to do requests, but I guess I am now! And YES! Orochi's such a good character and it's sad how he's underrated and doesn't have enough content. I shall help fix this wrong. (And thanks for the request)
- If you aren't already into music when you get into a relationship with Orochi, you're going to. Or at least appreciate it more
- Music is such a big part of his life, alongside you and beyblade. And in no time, you'll probably begin to associate music with him and all the memories you've had.
- If you already liked music when you met him, that's probably the reason you met. Either that or a beyblade tournament.
- If you weren't the first to ask him out, he probably learned how to play one of your favorite songs (probably a love song if you like those) on the piano and played it for you before asking you out. Or maybe he asked you out and then played it for you.
- And he will have a playlist of your favorite songs, a playlist of songs that remind him of you, and a playlist of songs he considers the soundtrack for your relationship.
- Dates will include walking to the park. With him holding your hand and humming.
- Or watching a movie. Still holding your hand. His eyes are on the screen, but his thoughts still drift to you.
- If you blade, he will definitely ask to battle you sometimes. If you don't blade, that's okay. But if you ever want to get into it or get better, he will certainly help.
- The first kiss was probably several months into the relationship. He's not in a hurry and likes to take his time and do what he thinks feels right, so it probably takes a while.
- You were probably both sitting down on the bench for the piano as he played something he just made. And you just felt so much, you had to. And he wasn't complaining.
- He can tell you're there based on your footsteps alone. A part of his amazing hearing.
- If he's ever away for a long duration of time, he'll send you an audio clip of a piece of music he put together. Or him singing part of a song or lyrics he made up when thinking about you
- "Like a song waving into my heart, you've been stuck in my head from the start"
- Always gets you. Everytime. And makes you feel so happy.
- His voice when singing is soft and deep. The kind that sends shivers down your back. You swear, he could have been a singer if he wanted to.
- He can tell when you need to calm down. He'll hug you close to him and hum. Though, if you prefer quiet, he can do that too and simply cuddle all the bad feelings away.

Of course! I love this boy and would feel honored to write these headcanons for him! And I got to post this on Saint Patrick's day!
Ken cheering up his S/O
- Ken is a wonderful boyfriend. He's so sweet and caring and makes you smile all the time
- Even before dating, he would always cheer you up if you seemed down.
- Out of everyone in the bey club (at least original members) he is a perfect balance of being aware of how others are feeling and being able to cheer them up
- Valt and Rantaro are great at finding a way to cheer someone up, but aren't the most perceptive. And Shu, Daigo, and Wakiya can tell when something's up (Wakiya having more trouble than the other two), but struggle with knowing how to cheer them up
- And Ken can tell when your feeling down and help you feel better
- He noticed you aren't talking as much, or that your eyes don't light up as much when he walks into the room, or how your smile seems tired or strained.
- "Everything okay?"
- He wants to make sure your okay and pulls you to the side to talk as soon as he can.
- "Yeah, just a bad day for me."
- "Do you want to talk about it?"
- I swear, his sweet voice is enough to make you start feeling better on its own.
- He listens to you, hugging you if you need it. Giving you advice and encouragement if you need it.
- Along with being sweet and having someone you can talk to, he also has the puppets!
- "Why are you sad?" "Was it something I did?"
- you'd laugh. "No, Keru. No, Besu. You never did anything wrong."
- He'll let you pet them for as long as you need and talk to them.
- He'll also hug you for as long as you need.
- Some days, he sets up a puppet show, just for you
- "Once upon a time, there was an amazing person, who brightened up the entire world."
- Please give him a hug and a kiss on the cheek. He's doing everything he can to make you feel better again.
- If he has nothing to do for the rest of the day, you can bet he'll cuddle with you the rest of the day.
