i understand when ur 13 and u just realized u have a mental illness and ur so relieved to know there are other ppl going thru the same thing as u, its easy to slip into the idea that your newly labeled thoughts and behaviors are normal and okay.

they are not. suicidal thoughts arent normal. violent impulses arent normal. delusions and hallucinations arent normal.

now that you have a name for this behavior you need to seek help. dont let tumblr trick you into thinking unhealthy coping mechanisms are the only ways to deal with your mental illness. dont let it fester, dont let it worsen. seek as much help as you can. actively try to better yourself.

I have a shitty ass manager that everyone hates. She is insensitive, always turns the conversation back to herself and thinks she is helping, tells people to just "get over it" when they have a problem, did NOTHING when I was getting harassed by a male coworker, did NOTHING when an associate was caught stealing, told me that my depression was just a phase, makes people cry and doesn't apologize, there are so many more things that she does that makes people hate her. However, the best news was bestowed upon our work by the gods when she told us she was resigning!!!! Words cannot express how happy I am.

Me: Unfortunately we don't have that capability, I would have to call other stores or you could also just call the ones you would want to travel to.

Customer: Okay, I will just call. You said you had the boots in black?

Customer: Okay, those aren't the ones we are looking for (hangs up).
