Sewing room update: the cutting table is done but I have to make a small adjustment so my ironing board fits in it, like I planned. And my garden is filling with flowers again and I'm so happy they're back! Here is just the quince bush. It has real lovely coral colored blossoms. Might post more flowers but I'll have to make a collage as I have so many pictures! 🌷🌸

Happy International Lolita Fashion Day!
My theme for this June one is Garden Party!
So I wore my most beloved garden jsk I made some years ago. (Her name is Botanika btw.) Definitely one of my favorites aestheticly. Looks like it could be an Emily Temple Cute design. I'm considering remaking the bodice though, as it is not very comfortable. I made it so long ago that I wasn't as concerned with comfort as I am now because I wasn't wearing them all day at work like I do now.

I made this dress last spring and I thought I'd share some of the time throughout the year I've worn it. It has really become a favorite of mine and I love wearing it. (So comfy😊) I'm glad I added the lace to it and this type of rayon it's made of is really comfortable for warm and cool weather. Plus the design makes it easy for both times too. I actually have to stop myself from wearing it all the time. Also I love the deep pockets a lot. I have definitely put tomatoes in there when picking them in the summer.🍅
Two things that are a little wrong with it is, the fabric has pilled up under the arms and there is a little bit of gaping on the under arm line but I don't really mind and I believe I fixed that in the other dresses I made with this pattern.
I'm thinking of giving this dress a name more then "plaid comfy dress". But I'm not sure if I will unless I make another plaid one. Which I might!

Wearing my wizard dress today and finally got all the Hogwarts houses coordinated. Wearing Ravenclaw today but I'm not completely satisfied with it yet. It's my house so it may take some fine tuning until I'm happy with it. I did wear all my blue dragon pins with it though.

Lots of textures and florals with this one and of course dashes of green!
This little bottle necklace has herbs from my garden in it, calendula, red clover, and lavender. Good for protection and luck!

Wearing spring colors hoping it will inspire the weather to warm up! At least we are only getting rain this week instead of snow.😏
Wearing my new green Sheep Puff shoes but I'm afraid they are too small. I was wearing thick-ish socks so I'll give them one more try before I get too sad over them not fitting/hurting my feet.
Also I've noticed with new shoes that they are often too small on my right foot. Mostly on the instep. Is my right foot beefier from using an industrial sewing machine for almost 5 years now. 🤔😄 Could be, I guess.🤷🏼♀️

More spring colors on Tuesday! Brought out this green floral skirt that I can't wear in winter because of the absolute static magnet it is. Polyester😑 I put a new waistband in it last year and it's super comfy now so I'll probably be wearing it more.
Also I always feel very fairy-like when I wear this vest.

Sometimes I don't think I dress all that unusual but then I go somewhere different or with lots of people and then I'm like well maybe I do dress weird.😁 mostly I'm just at home or at work and I don't dress weird at home because I'm the only lady here and this is how we dress here.😆 and I work with mostly grandma's so it's not weird that we don't dress the same.🤷🏼♀️
