Some spoiler-y thoughts (both related to Madoka and TGCF) about other characters and just generally below the cut

I mean I guess Jun Wu would be Kyuubey? Or maybe Kyuubey is just Kyuubey I don’t think Jun Wu is like…unattached enough from XL to be Kyuubey

I’ve tossed around the idea of Pei Ming or Shi Qingxuan as Mami but l’m not sure about that still (also because who would that make Bebe…)

I honestly feel like MQ and FX could both be either Sayaka or Kyouko (you know just depends on the flavour of angst I’m desiring at the moment) but I think FX fits Sayaka just a bit more

Also the Chinese version in which I truly went very liberal on “I think this is mostly correct” via “well, this sentence structure makes sense in Cantonese” and “I don’t know how to translate either of these words myself so I hope this is correct” AKA feel free to correct me on how to better translate the original because honestly this was as much as I could work out lol

Worth mentioning I still don’t speak Mandarin very well (Cantonese speaker) and am still learning to read and write Chinese so I actually have no idea how you say “I’m mad” in Mando?? And I also don’t know how to write in Cantonese. This is what machine translation gave me. For the same reason I don’t know how to write coarse language in Chinese so the English is more of a “I want FX to say this” vs “this is what the Chinese is saying”

Also: something probably only I think is funny because I realized I knew how to pronounce Feng Xin’s name in Cantonese, and then realized it sounds exactly the same as the word for “letter” (apparently this particular way of saying “letter” doesn’t exist in Mandarin)

Happy year of the dragon!

Assorted TGCF doodles featuring a background study and adding to the other drawings I’ve seen of Fengqing saying those lines because…I mean yeah.

Yeah I binged all of s2 of TGCF and a lot of moments stuck out but all the Lang Qianqiu bits…yeah that stuck real hard.

If any of the Chinese is wrong, I apologize because I actually (think) I could understand all of the words in the first three sentences (I speak Cantonese and my Mandarin is conversational at best) and then had to find a clip with Chinese subtitles to figure out the final line. I think people should just be proud I actually stuck to just simplified characters instead of my usual “I’ll write the simplified version or the traditional version depending on which one comes to mind first”. Also the English translation I provided is just my own - not based on the official subs or English dub
