i'm not disagreeing that strahm is the ultimate divorce guy but just entertaining the thought that he could be somehow happily married, how fucking crazy do you think the situation wouldve been for his spouse. like one day he's out investigating a pretty serious case, then he's hospitalized, then he vanishes under suspicions of having been one of the worst serial killers of your time, then he has vanished for good, presumed dead through fingerprints but without a body. like can you imagine the horror if you even were informed at all of the situation? "weve found fingerprints that confirm he may be dead, but we have no remains to give you or confirmation on how he died" versus just being told he disappeared, but everyones really weird about it, and then his boss dies too? idk

Last Saw post of the night but I’m actually still mad about what they did to Hoffman’s character/retcons they made to it via those flashback scenes with Gibson in Saw VII.

I’m meant to believe that Mark Hoffman, the man who craved revenge against his sister’s killer so badly that it became his sole focus/reason to live, yet still turned away when the man actually died, decided to shoot an unarmed homeless man multiple times without flinching or showing any remorse in the action? And that this same murder happened BEFORE the Seth Baxter stuff? Make it make sense please
