tasm peter x villain reader who know each other’s secret identities but keep that intel to themselves because mutually assured destruction but who sometimes “accidentally” run into each other at coffee shops or libraries and let their gazes linger knowingly on the other
who have a mutual friend and end up on a blind date together, much to their mutual chagrin. but hey, it’s a nice restaurant and the wine’s good and maybe peter kind of likes the way her guard comes down a little bit with each sip and maybe she kind of likes the way he talks about totally normal stuff like science and photography, as if he didn't have her dangling off a building by his webs two nights earlier
who are absolutely dedicated to making one another’s lives miserable but in the most ridiculous ways. always getting one another into compromising situations until one just happens to escape in the final seconds before the cops show up. whose flirty banter never stops, even when it’s laced with threats or invitations to switch sides
tasm peter who finds himself sometimes asking villain reader for her insights into other criminals and isn’t at all unhappy when all she wants in return is a kiss, though he insists otherwise. who is ashamed and embarrassed on the day she triggers his panic attacks until he feels her hands guide him into a comfortable seat and hears her voice telling him to breathe. later, she’ll apologize, kiss him, and warn him that they’ll pick up their fight another time
villain reader who is ready to burn down half the city to find her spider-man when he’s hurt by another bad guy. who finds herself needing to make an impossible choice—kill spider-man herself, or watch him die at another’s hands. who has tears in her eyes when her spider-man—her peter—insist it be her. who pulls off the impossible and saves them both and discovers she might just like playing the hero.
