The first pride was a riot, more specifically a riot against police violence. Trans women of colour like Marsha P. Johnson paved the way for the celebration of pride today. You cannot celebrate your pride this month, or any month if you aren’t also supporting Black Lives Matter and the riots going on against police violence right now. Us white LGBTQ+ need to stand up for our black siblings and their rights, their struggles. We need to amplify their voices and show any support we can.Hey! Better yet, reblog this version:
Extensive BLM Google doc including places to donate to, education resources, etc
List of 75 things white people can do right now

ok so i screenshotted this moment because i thought it was pretty cool
the first time we get to see all four elements working together for a common enemy, blah blah blah, but i started laughing because
sokka’s fucking boomerang. sokka threw a fucking boomerang at princess azula, renowned lightning bender and heir-apparent to the throne of the fire nation.
and sokka threw a boomerang at her.

Céline choosing the most emotional take for the “forgive me” scene
(GIFs made by the one and only @bereaving)
“This scene was shot on the third day of filming, it’s the first big scene of intimacy that we filmed. We had looked a lot for right level of emotion. That take is one of the last.
For a very long time in the editing, there was the first take that I found good, satisfying, moving, which is a take where the emotion is less overwhelmed.
But in the end we chose this one, which was the most weeping, the most devastating. Especially for the character of Marianne, who’s basically the character who confronts her emotions in the film.
This is the 8th take. There is exhaustion, there is tension, there is abandonment, and there are the tears of Noémie Merlant. We decided to make a long shot.”

Lesbians with no experience? Lesbians with a lot of experience? Lesbians who have been with men? Lesbians who haven’t? Lesbians who are unsure about their identity? Lesbians who are 110% sure? All lesbians? Incredible, beautiful, important, 10/10 would recommend. I bet if we had more lesbians, all world problems would be solved.
