For all the eggs out here that need to hear this, it's not a fetish because you get turned on by being in the opposite sex's clothes. You're allowed to express sexuality, you don't need to repress it. It's normal to fantasize about having things like the opposite sex's genitalia. I struggled a lot thinking I was just a fetishist because thinking about being a girl would get me so horny. Truth is that sometimes it's a lot easier to express yourself when you're comfortable in your own body. When you don't feel bad about it, when you don't feel yucky for what you have. It's also really common to go back and forth, I had my genderfluid phase in which I was so indecisive I'd constantly go back and forth on it. It helps to take it slowly and explore yourself, things like being genderfluid exist for a reason. Not everyone who is genderfluid is trans, but you'd be shocked at how many people (such as myself) identified as trans after finally calming down with switching back and forth. It's a hard prospect, it's scary sometimes. I doubt myself all the time, but I'm genuinely happier when people refer to me with feminine pronouns, when I'm dressed pretty and I feel like a pretty girl. It's okay not to know either, you won't get an answer immediately. There exists a wide spectrum for you to fall under, so never stop exploring yourself.

the idea that testosterone is a dangerous hormone that inherently makes someone domineering and difficult to be around is transphobic all round, leaning on bioessentialism.
for trans men and transmascs, we are warned against medical transition for fear that we may lose our agreeableness and perceived passivity. we are seen as potential aggressors after going on it.
trans woman and transfems have any testosterone in their system, whether on hrt or not, held over them like an original sin that can not be escaped that positions them as more aggressive and dangerous. it is seen as something that threatens their womanhood and can be brought up against them at any time to revoke it.
testosterone is not an evil hormone. it does not change your moral character. it does good for some and bad for others, like any other hormone.

remember the story of a man, who worked over 136 hours on a 13 cent/hour salary in modern day slavery, to then donate all $17.74 to help civilians in Gaza? his name is Hamza, and after he went viral, people online came together and gave back to him a total of $102,000 through donations. and while I'm so happy for him as he, a 56 year old man who has spent almost 40 years on prison, is getting support for when he's eventually liberated; I wish we'd all follow his wishes as well, (as per his own words) and we'd all keep the same energy for Palestinians, as it was his love for Palestinians that motivated such an act. I think he put it beautifully on his statement:
"From my heart I thank you all for your generosity and kindness in donating these funds to help and assist me upon my release from prison. However, I must ask each of you now to please, please, please look upon and consider the suffering children, mothers and fathers of Palestine, Yemen, and Africa living under inhuman conditions, being bombed every hour of the day, without water, shelter, medication and food who are ordinary people and citizens just like all of you living their lives having not a thing to do with the politicians, but are suffering inhumanely, please give to them. Remember them daily in your prayers and with the power of your vote send a message to them that all of God's servants are equal in creation, the lives of our brothers and sisters who are Palestinians are as precious and inviolable as the life of an Israeli."

seeing tolerant adult midliners on the subject of children reading inappropriate, intense, etc. books and their insistence on little qualifiers like "of course they should be able to read these books - in a save environment an adult has provided for them!" or "of course they can access these books - under the supervision of a trusted grown up so they can bring them their questions when they get confused!" why are these people so fucking stupid. you will never see an angrier, sadder, more hysterical grown-up than the grown-up whose carefully cobbled safe-space has been rejected by the child - for no reason (they say). Even in great circumstances, in the healthiest of parent/child relationships, these people cannot conceive of a reality that the kid might, over safety, recognition, and answers, choose to sit with fear and uncertainty and confusion. they will choose to keep a secret! they will not want to ask you a question! they will prefer to keep it to themselves! they don't want your little cushion on the floor or your accepting presence over their shoulder - they want to be sly! they want to sneak! let em!
lots of people accurately snipe the idea that kids can quickly pick up on insincerity and condescension but they can't wrap their heads around the fact that a gluts of sincerity present the exact same way.

Being raised by areligious jews with 0 exposure to christianity outside pop culture is so fun. One time I asked my ex-catholic friend why a picture of jesus had a bristle crown and she looked at me like I was insane. One time I heard someone mention the "lance of longinus" and responded, word for word, "Like from Evangelion?" One time during a history lesson my professor described an important monk and scholar as "Dominican" and I spent the rest of class super confused and hung up on it because I was very sure that the Dominican Republic didn't meaningfully exist as an entity back then, maybe she meant he was a native Taino or something but that's a weird way to say that and I'm pretty sure this was pre- European contact? Really fucks people up when they realize I genuinely have no idea.
