I sign it from Gorgug. I forget how to be myself all the time.
I love the resolution of this that we got because I love Gorgug but also consider: any of these kids talking to each other even a little bit about their problems.
There’s just something about that moment when you realise that the decisions you make due to your own self-confidence issues impact the people you care about. Realising when you forget to be yourself, your friends who love you miss out on you too. And maybe you could even try to give yourself a break, for them. Idk man this season is going crazy and all i can do is draw pictures about it

There were 9 total backgrounds for this set! Any space with white in the windows is where you'd get a glimpse of the graveyard outside :) Starting off with the Graveyard, the Kitchen, and the Foyer
Next up we've got Lydia's room, Sandra Lynn and Jawbone's room, and the Staircase ♥
And finally Adaine, Fig, and Kristen's rooms!
Fun little thing here - I originally wanted to give Adaine a bunk bed, since Aelwyn lived there too. But when I learned she'd moved out I turned it into a desk and loft bed, and then the props department MADE the bed to match the art!

I do not yet have the skills to capture this in the way I envisioned it in my minds eye, but I was really into the symbolism of everyone cheering for a fake Kristen doing a wacky chaotic stunt while the real Kristen suffered invisibly among them
it felt very on theme not only for her personally but also for the theme of junior year as a whole (specifically being forced to hide your problems and your stress in order to perform even as it gets worse)
(added bonus to the imagery was the jump being done at night; what would be Cassandra's domain if she wasn't. you know)
