I made a little fan comic for @animationlover23‘s wonderful fanfic: https://archiveofourown.org/works/13330422
I relate to Eclipsa’s awkwardness on a spiritual level.
BONUS (aka the junk you should look at after you read the fic so you don’t spoil it for yourself):
I tried to design Toffee and Eclipsa to look a lot younger. I dunno how well I did haha, but they’re supposed to be 12-15 y/o here I believe. Drew a ton of Snookers as well because I was sad I didn’t draw him much in the comic interactions.
Tumblr media
A few random moments that I liked. Toffee wrapping his tail around Eclipsa; putting a flower in her hair.
Tumblr media
Very first interaction between the two. Eclipsa says exactly what she’s thinking as usual haha ^^ <3

And as a bonus for today besides The Nutcracker Animatic
I have this piece of art inspired by the Joseon AU for Gravity Falls! This is a Korean interpretation of the series, and my favorite interpretation in general! I really like the Bill design, the costumes, and the overall aesthetic of the AU!
I would definitely love to work on more pieces like this in the future! Maybe even get enough for an animatic~ It might be just wishful thinking.
(I would love more information for this particular AU… Anybody out there with more info, your knowledge and input would be handy!)

The unholy personifications-centric anime/game that I know
1. Hetalia: Comedic and overall good rich in history, culture, and random trivias about personified countries. They have manga and anime.
Tumblr media
2. Senjuushi/Senjyushi: Personifications of antique guns as crazy men vs modern guns (World Empire) . It is a wack and share Hetalia -vibe in terms of personality. This franchise is fairly new, so it is still in Japanese.
Game vers:

Anime:

PS: Napoleon’s VA is Hetalia Romano/Italy’s, also there are Ottomans too! Also we have American Revolutionary War
3. Kancolle: Personifications of ships. I heard it is good! I think they have anime and based on games!
Tumblr media
4. Girl Frontline: Personifications of guns as good angsty girls. Below is G11! Sorry, I don’t play this game! >< so far there is only international version of this game
Tumblr media
5. Hataraku Saibou: Comedic life of personifications of body cells. The Hataraku Saibou BLACK version is reallly interesting, it is more tensed! It motivates me to take care of my body. There are anime and manga of this franchise.
Tumblr media
6. Food Fantasy: Cute game about personification of food! Yes, it sounds insanely cute! The format is RPG ! This game is relatively new as well!
Tumblr media
7. Touken Ranbu: Personification of old and historical Japanese swords! They are trying to prevent time flow getting distrupted by the Time Retrogade Army! It is based on game, and there are two seasons of anime: Katsugeki and Hanamaru. It is based on game!
Tumblr media
8. Houseki no Kuni: Angsty personification of gems! The growth of the protagonist is good! So far there are only anime and manga.

HataSai Black overview
In the midst of the hype for this series I managed to get my grubby hands on a biology care package which included all the spinoffs for this manga. So I’m here to give an overview of them, their world, the characters and how they compare to the manga.
Disclaimer: I personally own all of my manga, please don’t ask for HQ scans, please support the franchise by buying off amazon jp or from maybe your local kinokuniya.
