(1984) 007 James Bond
just a quick tune based on that iconic chromatic run.
not bad, but not much.

a bunch of board games for your game gear
2 tracks, both ok. not much to comment on really.

(1995) 20 em 1
20 games in one cart. all original, from Brazil's Tec Toy.
but... only 2 songs. they're ok.
strange detuning on "Title Screen". I wonder what that's about.

(1994) 94 Super World Cup Soccer
eh. it's alright. better that some non-bootleg games actually. still a bit wobbly somehow.

(1992) The A-Team
a rare story. we know nearly nothing of the game, but JT kept the music he wrote for it.
because it's JT, it's solid work.

(1993) Aa Harimanada
this one feels pretty solid. not overly adventurous with its instrumentation, but solidly composed.
what is going on with BGM11? beautiful

(1991) Ace of Aces
military snares and some... psg orchestral, I presume?
kinda meh overall, though i do appreciate the vibrato-soaked instrumentation lol

(1986) Action Fighter
frantic! which is appropriate enough i suppose.
"Boss Battle" is one of the more foreboding I've heard on psg. I'd call it the highlight of this soundtrack.

(1992) Aerial Assault
for GG. noticeably different from SMS version (and ripped this time).
filled with some low key good tunes. energetic for a marathon instead of a sprint.

(1990) Aerial Assault
for SMS. noticeably different from the GG version.
it starts out weak but seems to improve throughout the game. I still wouldn't say I'm much of a fan though

(1987) After Burner
very fun PSG renditions of the iconic tunes, and then kinda weak FM versions.
I'm not even sure that this is my favorite PSG rendition of "After Burner" since I've heard so many covers, but it's still a good time, all things considered.

the feeling of jfusion subtly leaks from each song. sometimes less subtly.
like. holy hell the runs in "Continue"
also just. everything. listen to all of this.

(1994) Aladdin
very cartoon-cinematic to my ears. feels like adaptations from the movie, though I am actually not familiar enough to say that with confidence.
........... except for "Whole New World". lol
anyway, it's well arranged. good stuff.

(1988) Aleste
perhaps more commonly known as Power Strike.
for some reason, "Bloody Jewel" really captures me. for some reason, the FM version is pants. weird patch choice.
I'd call the PSG and FM soundtracks "generally at parity" tho
lots of fun energy to be found here. "Easygoing" is 100% a highlight

(1987) Alex Kidd BMX Trial
this is a funny case where the FM and the PSG versions, though the same music, alternate between which is better.
"South Seas & Pyramid River"? PSG.
"Radaxian"? FM.
though it's still all a bit too bright and chipper for my taste...

(1986) Alex Kidd in Miracle World
the classic. but it still often swings a bit too close to "too cute" for me.
"Underwater" tho...
"Castle" is super fun. I'd call that the highlight
