I find it rather mind boggling how people straight believe that we are the smartest existence... It's people who claimed so and it's them who think so. Why do we neglect other creatures? Wouldn't the lion think he's the strongest in the jungle but is he? If you throw it into the sea would you expect it to win against an Orca? Do humans think Ai will outsmart them? Absolutely not. It's them who made it, anything it will do, it was designed to do.

Also it's very funny to me how if you think about it, Loid and Yor have a very healthy relationship. Despite all the lies and the secrets, when it comes to dealing with each other they actually do it much better than most married couples. They fully respect each other's boundaries, they don't butt in in each other's lives (and even when Yor thought she was overstepping Loid reassured her it was her place to do so as the mother of the Forgers), they don't shame each other for what they think is their lives (Loid thinking that Yor was a prostitute), they support and encourage and reassure each other (and Twilight can lie to himself all he wants about how he does that "for the mission" and not because he genuinely cares) and they respect the person the other is both on their own and as a part of the family.

And I think that's based heavily on the fact that, again, despite the lies and secrets, the purpose of the marriage was strictly practical; from the beginning Loid knew Yor only wanted a husband to avoid looking suspicious, and Yor knew Loid only wanted a wife for the admission interview. They were both upfront and honest about what they wanted from the marriage... And honestly that's the reason it's working so well. Marriage is a contract, in their case physical intimacy is not needed to keep it up, but they do have what's needed to keep a relationship going; respect for each other and their private lives. And honestly, I feel that's something a lot of real life couples - even for those who keep secrets, none can compare to what Loid and Yor keep from each other - could take note of.
