5 months later and I'm still dealing with the aftermath from all the complication I suffered. It just goes to show that even something as common as a hysterectomy can get really fucked up because the body decides it wants to do something else. I just started pelvic floor physical therapy to address my pelvic pain, but at least my body finally healed properly.

Would I still do the surgery even after everything I went through? I think so. I still have less pain overall. Say nothing of no more bleeding. But my hormones are still whacked from the stress. Hoping it'll be worth it in the long run...

This book is going to be part of my core memory.

Everytime i pass by a grove of Orange trees, everytime i scent the dry summer wind, everytime i see a big fluffy dog, just everytime i feel a sense of the mysterious in a quite place i will think of this book.

Very few books and fanfics I've ever read leave an impression on me, and make me want to go back to them. But this makes me want to experience it again for the first time.

It has the best troupe:

Slow burn

Enemies to lovers

Grumpy hero

Magical powers (but without it being confusing and you're lost as to what is going on)

Amazing plot, fast paced and keeps you hooked.

Lovable side characters

Brilliant writing

And finally beautifully written erotic scenes without it being over the top.

I personally love a sarcastic old grump of a hero and the MMC here is all that

“Don’t run from me, Raistlin…” she said softly, seeing him fight within himself, seeing that look in his eyes again. “I won’t destroy you… but I can’t save you if you run.” Excerpt from chapter 30 of The Star and The Hourglass, Part 1 in the Time of the Hourglass Dragonlance fanfic series in which Yurielle offers the Archmage a question… This was one of my first (and favorite) attempts at digital drawing, inspired by Alexandra V Bach’s ‘Hades and Persephone’.
