You know what? Yes. Truthfully I used to hate Sakura. But then I realized I only hated her when she was around Sasuke: this is because she is weak around him. And I don't mean in the way that he is her weakness but that she can't function around him in a strong or independent way. She becomes subservient and hesitant, and that's why I hated her. On her own or hell with Naruto (platonically) she becomes a truely powerful character. Sasuke is bad for Sakura.

Hello all! So for all those who have made requests or are thinking of making one, I have a question for you. So far I have been writing the responses with a very short summery of how the interaction between the match and the matchiee. However, it occurred to me maybe I should also come up with a short story response within the matchup.
Here's the question: Should I add an optional form question requesting the addition of a short story of how the match and matchiee meet or began their relationship?

Romantic Matchup: Cana Alberona
OMG, I cannot say how well you two fit together. Sorry, fanboying a little ^.^ Ahem.
Cana is one of the funner members of Fairytail free spirited while remaining serious. Her outfit is rather proof enough of that. She is also clearly an experienced person, so I’m pretty sure all dirty jokes will be met with equally dirty snark.
The thing I imagine driving Cana to you is your Gryffindor tendencies, meaning courage and valour when it is most needed, the tough decision making and the will to accomplish what needs to be done. That is what Cana would find the most interesting at first glance. She is forward, likely she will pursue you rather then the other way around. Flirting and lots of it, dirty jokes so bad they make you snort and a ton of flattery that makes the ears go red. Perhaps occasionally you will respond, but only later on when you start to get more accustomed to it. I can see you would be more hesitant in reciprocating any type of interest.
Until one day out of the blue one of those rare confidence boosts that all of us experience occasionally: happens, and you find yourself sitting down next to her as she nurses a glass and reads her cards. Now, you end up opening, not with a dirty joke or cheesy pick up line, but you do make a laugh about one of her cards looking strange, to which she will probably agree and then explain its meaning. And truly that’s how the relationship will start, with the both of you just sitting and talking without flirting and just getting to understand each other a little more. Maybe getting a little drunk.
It continues from there, into dating casually, and both of you will end up laughing at the other awkward couples in the guild. Teasing good naturally, although you will probably end up apologizing if someone gets offended. Cana will likely become a destructive force and you will be the one to stop her from drinking too much. Although her tolerance is unbelievably high, you will probably make it one of your priorities to know her limit.
Perhaps unfortunately, your childish nature may be a bit bothersome for Cana. Not that she doesn’t have fits of immaturity, but due to her more serious demeanor, it will likely be the cause of some arguments between you, should you respond childishly to something she considers to be of importance. Nevertheless, while that is a factor, it should be stated she does get her kicks out of your more willful nature as well. Laughing as you do something stupid just for the sake of curiosity and the like.
When antisocial, she will go into the light for you. Taking attention so that you don’t get noticed, because honestly she doesn’t mind being the center of attention, and she will want you to be comfortable. If you need a break she’ll give you one, and a shoulder to rest on too should you need it. Though she isn’t overly affectionate. She does only have eyes for you, and likely it won’t stray unless it’s to point out someone in a magazine. So no worries there.
You both do target practice together. Though in truth its more of an excuse for Cana to watch you work. She would love watching you do archery, probably cataloging it in her mind for later *wink* though she does aim her cards for practice at some point during her intense staring. She will want to make sure you don’t catch her staring.
She would form a bond over your hair, kind of creepily with just your hair. As it is curly and brown as hers is, she loves your hair. And your eyes, but that’s also because she just loves the colour brown, and your eyes and hair will probably be what your complimented over the most.
Overall, your relationship with Cana is timid in public, but more solid in private spaces. Its like being in love with your best friend, except without all the complications that can follow. You two would become best friends as girlfriends.

Question: I wanted to ask if you were still taking matchups?
A: Yes I am still taking matchups. :) Just takes me awhile because I’ve had some major setbacks due to my health.
Question: do you mind if our information (mainly the personality is long and detailed, or do you have a certain amount of words or length for the personality)?
A: I do have a limit of two asks per fandom, if that answers your question, but the more detailed the better.
Question: Would it be alright if we made a post with all the information and then send the link to the form in?
A: I am not very good with Tumblr or any form of technology, so if you could please send everything in the form of an ask I would be very grateful, sorry about the inconvenience.
Question: If we do ask for both FairyTail and Naruto will the length be shorter than if we just asked for one?
A: The length of my response usually depends on how many details I am given about the individual’s personality. It is not dependent on how many asks you send. HOWEVER, I should be clear, if you ask for BOTH Fairytail and Naruto, then they should both be on separate asks. The length is NOT influenced by asking for both fandoms.

Romantic Match up please! (male please :p)! w
Romantic Matchup: Shino
You are the leader of the relationship, instigator and planner. Shino is not a man of spontaneous inclination, preferring to sit and wait for his partner to choose an activity. It may seem odd to consider this when you have described yourself as shy, and indeed the beginning of your relationship will be heavily affected by this. The beginning is slow, and when I say slow, I mean grueling. Neither of you are going to make the first step. As such you two are actually That couple: The one that gets set up by friends or family. In fact most likely it was set up as a type of prank, or for a good show.
However, the both of you just silently click. On your blind date Shino is confident but not without hesitation. Indeed it is difficult to get a grasp on the man, as he is cocky without being overly expressive about it, yet shy in disposition. In this he orders for both of you, as you nervously sip water and try not to appear like your sinking into your chair in embarrassment. While he is polite in ordering, you will probably find it somewhat placating and attempt to open a line of communication in response. Starting with something you know him to be interested in. Shino ends up surprising you with how passionate he is with insects. This ends up in him bluntly asking for a second date.
As your relationship grows, you both end up focusing on what you are passionate about. Shino invests his time in telling you with surprising enthusiasm about the many wildlife projects he is attempting to fund-raise and not just ones about insects. While he is deeply involved and caring of his bugs, he does try to aid other animals in need, especially endangered species, which just pulls you into further curiosity.
Shino does get a lot of shit -pardon my language- from people. They think him gross and unbecoming because of his clan’s ability with bugs. This may flare your protective instincts. Shino does not get involved and tells you it does not bother him. He knows he is a good man, and as long as he thinks that you are appeased. Should his mood drop because of comments aimed his way, you will come down like an angry mother after their child drank alcohol without permission. Which is probably why you didn’t like Kiba’s attitude for awhile.
Overall, your relationship is relaxed, and you rely on each other to vent frustrations that maybe your not comfortable presenting in front of anyone else. Encouraging each other’s passions and recognizing each others need for silence once in awhile. It’s simple and kind, coy type of relationship. You are more comfortable around each other then you are around anyone else, but it works well regardless.

I’m a deeply emotional person but can also be semi detached at times, it’s a weird contradiction—I feel other people’s emotions so much that sometimes I just go numb for a lil. Mentor Matchup: Kakashi
Note: Hii~~ Just be aware this should be read with the mindset that you begin your training fresh out of the academy -so 12-14 years old.- and then progress to when you no longer need mentorship.
Okay, so this one is based a lot on your preference with people. As I believe that dictates a lot of how a mentor will teach their student. Someone who is more like you in approch to persons.
Kakashi himself is empathetic however would rather be inside not interacting with persons if it can be avoided. So as such when training if would mostly involve a secluded area.
Kakashi’s elemental type is lightning, although due to his sharingan he can copy other elemental jutsu’s he sees. Therefore whatever element is your affinity he will be able to provide insight. With having him as mentor your best bet is becoming a combat specials or tactical strategist. So if your hope was medic ninja no luck.
In consideration with his skill your abilities will improve mainly in chakra control, and chakra form, perhaps the density of your chakra as well. In many cases rookies are unaware of how to properly retain their chakra and manage how much they use in a single jutsu. Here Kakashi is at a disadvantage his use in retainment is bad, Chidori being a prime example as it uses to much chakra and is not a straight shot unless you get close enough, the longer it is maintained the more chakra it uses. Not mentioning the fact that it takes a lot of energy to activate in the first place.
What he will teach you is close range combat, both hand-to-hand, and close & mid-range ninjutsu as is his skillset. You will learn not only how to use advanced jutsu, but also how to formulate your own jutsu based on your own skill -of course this will be later on in your training.- As Kakashi is well known as an extremely talented fighter it should stand to reason that you his pupil should as well.
He is a patient man, not rash, and forgiving of mistakes. He would also be a fun mentor to have as well. I’m sure you would become friends eventually, though time it will take. Likely if your into reading he will find a mutual point of understanding. Perhaps just sitting outside reading a book together and disguising it. As you get older though the more fiercely protective he will get. Kind of like a father figure. I do imagine you will have to be in a secret relationship for awhile before he backs off. Watch your loved one around him, there will be threats, and possibly a challenge.
Which brings me onto his method of training: Challenges. Kakashi’s first way of surmising skill is how you deal with real life situations in a fabricated setting. It could be anything from fetching leafs to climbing a tree. You do training his way or not at all so best be prepared.
The hardest thing to learn for a shinobi is to kill. Killing isn’t easy and not many people can handle it calmly or rationally. Now each mentor will handle this differently. In Kakashi’s case he will try to numb you too it. Tell you that the job you are doing is to protect people a swap of one life for many others. It’s not an ideal world view but for a ninja there never is. Making your first kill will be hard on both of you, and while I cannot imagine Kakashi as the comforting type he will understand that on some level you need it. Giving you a day off, and then bringing you back into routine by doing some calming activities together to keep your mind off of it and keep you at ease, in the moment.
This mentorship has a certain amount of attachment to it, but it is easy and flows without much sacrifice.
