Tips for productivity:
I’ve never had “work ethic” period. I’ve always struggled with studying, being consistent at anything and resentfully I’m one of those “only works well under pressure” type of people 🙄 but here’s some things that lately I’m noticing help with that.
1) as corny and as overrated as it may seem, write or say (out loud or in your head) some positive affirmations, it can be as simple as “I am capable of doing ‘xyz’ “
2) dress like you want to feel, wear makeup, do your hair, put on what you feel will help you achieve this
3) consider putting the annoying / difficult tasks first otherwise do the reverse (wake up an hour earlier if it’ll help you achieve this)
4) AirPods/earphones/headphones on and listen to music that will help you focus - for me this tends to be upbeat playlists that put a pep in my step rather than depress me
5) keep note of things you don’t understand, blockers you face or things you need to come back to as you’re getting the work done and seek out the things/people that will help remove said blocker
Obviously I’m not an expert but will pin and keep coming back to this post to update.

Did a little bit of work this evening after the work day. I’m finding work ethic is so hard to build and maintain because for me, a pause or break almost feels like a reset yet consistently work hard to meet tight deadlines also drains me of all energy in the process. Any tips?
