I know I normally don’t post spice buuuut I had the strong urge to draw my OC Josiah with Double Face (AKA Armada Sideways AKA AKA “Mirror” form; there is so much DF and mini-con lore it’s worth a whole wiki deep dive). More relationship stuff under the cut!

I never got to the point in my original TFA fan-story where I was going to explore these two being a couple. Long story short: Double Face disguised himself as a human and dated Josiah to keep an eye on Star and Flash (Josiah’s daughter and mini-con partner respectfully). However, the Herald of Unicron genuinely developed feelings for Josiah and despite the truth of his real identity coming out eventually and leading to a tumultuous breakup, the two come back together, have a long chat and make their odd relationship work.

To be honest, I have lot more ideas for an Earthspark au but I have not gotten around to drawing or writing about it publicly. Fun fact from my story: Mirror has a very sophisticated holoform to the point where it’s almost impossible to tell it’s not an actual human. Double Face takes the whole transformers robots in disguise very seriously.
