A little child? Here? He looked like one of her own people’s, if it wasn’t for the outfit he was wearing. Red and black with horns atop his head. Something very common for the well-known Jokers rumbling through the lands. Though, she only heard of one. There was…two?
At least, that’s what she heard. She never really did understand why a mere child would be a Joker. The one she had heard of though, and probably knew very well, had a dark past behind him. Why would a child get involved? Unless something happened to him.
Clip. Clip. Clip. Came the sounds of a gardener working in the small court yard. Sanne was resting outside, thanks to the wonderful weather. A small sigh of delight passed her lips as she crossed one leg over the other, letting the sun shine on her.
Traipsing idly down the path, the little bat-eared child sang to himself in the sunshine, swinging his knapsack in the warmth of the day. "Animal crackers 'n my soup, monkeys 'n rabbits, loop da loop!" Doing his best to look as carefree as possible--not as if he had absolutely no home to go to, now that he had been expelled from the kingdom...
Pausing at a garden gate, lined with diamonds, the child's little flap-eared cap perked up at the sound of other noise--apart from his little singing. Curiously, the boy peeked inside, just a tad, standing on his tiptoes to see who exactly this garden belonged too.
