I feel like it's odd that this episode didn't have one, so...
If you could choose to add a headpat to one of these moments from Dangerous Minds, which one would it be?
As cute as it would've been for him to pat Omi's head while he was reassuring Omi that they'd find a way to battle again even after they teamed up so well today, Chase is cautious in front of the other monks. He was so vague with the reassurance here because he doesn't want the others dragons-in-training to catch on to their growing alliance just yet.
So the last one's off the table.
The others are all fair game, though, it'd be perfectly in character to put on in any of those places!
In the second one, a pat on the head after Omi vows to keep his word would be nice, but Chase's hands are full and he's hiding the Reversing Mirror behind his back, so he's keeping that slight distance from Omi for a reason. Plus, he's being duplicitous here, and to keep the head pats as an unambiguous symbol of goodwill between them, Chase avoids doing them at times when he's directly tricking Omi (hence the deliberate hand on Omi's shoulder in Judging Omi instead).
So it's a tie between the first and the third for me!
I'd have loved to see Chase close the distance between them and pat Omi's head to calm him down when he's freaking out from the state of the world at the hands of the Spiders. His words accomplish it well enough, but I can definitely see a head pat fitting in between scene transitions here. Or even right after they jumped out of the portal, as a show of appreciation to Omi for saving him back there.
But the third, having Chase rub Omi's head in addition to openly praising him right in front of Dojo, would have been hilariously cocky and very in-line with Chase. I would have loved that too.

Can we also talk about how soft Shifu says "He could have killed you." He's terrified but relieved his students are alive. He realizes that they truly weren't robbed of the title by Po but they were almost robbed of their lives by HIS student/son. He almost lost another child.
I believe we don’t talk about this scene as much as we should.
We all remember this scene, right?
This scene takes place after Po’s training and the battle between the Furious Five and Tai Lung. It was clear who had won the battle.
Here, we see Shifu recovering the Five’s nerves after they were attacked by Tai Lung using his nerve attack (which Shifu had taught him).
This scene absolutely broke me. Because not only can you hear the disappointment in Tigress’ voice when she says, “I thought we could stop him…” but her face also indicates that she feels guilty for not being able to defeat Tai Lung, making it clear to her that she is not the Dragon Warrior. None of them were.
The title she worked hard for almost all her life. The only chance she knows that could finally give her the love and approval she’s been longing for was not meant for her…
