Girrrl! 🤣 They better go play in somebody else face, cuz we are done!!!! 🙅🏾♀️
Just like Bill Cosby R Kelly Sean Combs aka Diddy downfall has nothing to do with bringing a black man down. It has to do with the harm of hurting exploiting women and young girls emotionally mentally physically and sexually.
It's really funny to see this play out like this yet again! I think one of the saddest aspects in the dynamic between Black men and Black women is that every time these niggas find themselves in a compromising position, or start to see the consequences of their actions, like a Diddy, R. Kelly or Bill Cosby and so many more, they tend to bring up race as a factor. They love to highlight blackness as a reason they're being "persecuted" and why we [Black women] should continue to support them even after we've discovered that they're horrible men. They want this whole racialized scenario when the actual issue is male violence against women. But let's not point to that, let's bring on some other kind of issue that makes us not pay real attention to male violence. And that's why race offers the perfect sort of screen because (1) they claim they're not doing it to the other violent white men like Donald Trump or whoever, and (2) it creates a spectacle that allows us women to not only participate in but collude with the same forces allowing for the violence. Violent Black men rely on our continual allegiance to sexism and patriarchy even as it threatens our own lives. This is how violence against women perpetuates and reaffirms itself in our community; is making us all identify with men who are violent as our "heroes" because they gave us a few hit songs, or spread a bit of money here and there. It's always, "He's a successful Black man and they're trying to bring him down!". We're made to think that sexual violence is a lesser story and the more interesting story is the story of the life of the perpetrator. Meanwhile, race has NEVER been the reason we see these same niggas marching in the streets for OUR rights, especially when Black women are discriminated against, raped or killed. They're not at the forefront. Being "Black" has never allowed for any kind of reciprocity from Black men...but they always expect it from us. I don't really think they understand, we literally don't care whether you're Black or white. We want to see ALL you motherfuckers go down!!!!!!
