New day

I have just started doing my transcription job (no-contract) like two days ago and I’m feeling kind of scared with the team leader. Maybe because he’s a man so it feels quite uncomfortable messaging with him but I feel sorry though since - you know - this is a job so we need a lot of communication going on. But with my introverted personality and always overthinking, right now I don’t even dare to look into the WA group. Anyways, I think this transcription jobs is much easier than I did last time because they actually have the software to transcribe it. However, the payment was quite less than the one I have done last year.

However I feel like it is rather a test than a job because why would I transcribe an audio that I can easily found on internet with a video that has subtitle on it? Therefore, I connected the dot.  

Now, I’m so afraid thinking about my future. I always wonder how special my course is than other courses in my university but how small the industry that I would get into in the future and the job opportunity is much harder to find. Most of my seniors turned out to not working as a translator but some of them started their own business (maybe because of their passion) and some of them become teacher, but none of them were not even related to translation. My guess was that maybe they did translation but as a side job. Within this pandemic phenomenon that happened, I’m not surprised if I graduated and struggling to find a job since most of company decided to lessen their workers.

It’s a hard life.

i just want to live in animal crossing, you know, catching bugs, being kind, making adorable friends, traveling, camping, picking fruits and fishing… i’m all about that

so, we just received results. not dissapointed but quite surprised though. One thing about receiving results in anything, it's either about your exam results or related to work, when things don't go the way you thought it will be, maybe because you know yourself that you've worked hard but it just doesn't turned the way you want, that shit hurts. however, i'm not complaining though because i knew i still lacking in a lot of aspects and there's still a lot of time(hopefully) so, I guess i just have to work hard on it. You Can Do It dearself !!! 💪🌈 don't get discouraged too early.
