Naked; no longer afraid
Caressed into sunlight
Golden globes of spirit and grace;
A refraction of light
Reflection of delight
The mirror aligned,
Depth inward cries
Embraces the Spark
Grazen blades
Nature redeems
Reclaims and cleans
Beating heart of
A thousand blooms
Regal & entombed -
With hidden skies
Roots with no lies
Held up and then within
More than met with skin
Nary Vestal flirtatious grin
Fresh and flesh
Stretched life over bone,
Limbs built to roam,
Tendons lead us home
Then buried beneath
Just carbon
From nails to gritted teeth;
Hold a mirror to yourself!
The lands condemn it so!
No blurry image,
No compromised spirit
No shimmer of ebb and flow
Let that Reflection be!
Force yourself open
Bear all to see;
No framed portrait
No perfection to recreate
Just nature,
Empty
And whole
