Equipment

Recently we purchased our own equipment in order to use this as an advantage for our next films. The camera purchased was the Lumix G7 which shoots very well in terms of shallow depth of field and provides a broad feature set up. We also have our own tripod and slider, so this will gain benefit when coming to shoot our next projects. At the moment we are currently working on our showreel which will share on all of our social media platforms once it’s finished.

Upcoming projects

We have got a new short on the way titled Dark Wood, which we’re very excited to being working on. We also have other short films planned ahead of that which we’ve already written and hope to produce soon within the future.  

Our work

We have currently produced three short films in the past year, this involving collaborating with actors and learning new ways to direct. Our first short was Never Bring a Knife to a Gun Fight, which we starred in due to the fact that this was our starting point. However, we progressed from this by making Spooked, a short horror which got us to work with actors for the first time. Following this was our recent short Colonize, a short Sci-Fi/Drama that really stepped our boundaries up since it was a bigger budget and involved more crew members. Hi we’re Royale Films, a small independent production company in Liverpool. This is ran by three passionate filmmakers who aim to produce great content in short films. We also enjoy collaborating with other filmmakers on set, as well as actors in order to network and work professionally.
