I'm writing a second book to my first fanfic.
Problem #1, the naming of characters.
Two years ago, I wrote that Amaimon had a kid in my alternate universe.
The kid's name was Amon, because he had ties to Egypt.
Kato recently introduced Amon as a villian in the manga. So clearly, I have some explaining to do?
Will it be the same character? Or is Amaimon really bad with names?

Blue Exorcist Chapter 149 Notes:
Yukio finally shows that he cares.
We start off this chapter with Shura and Osceola fighting Asmodeus and Amon. They have one objective, to keep these bastards away from Team B.
Osceola turns into a rage monster and rips Amon to pieces. Shura meanwhile is stuck with the masochist demon Asmodeus. At one point he gets away from Shura and chases after Rin and Yukio in group B.
Shura, to get Asmodieus's attention takes off her bra, and launches it at him with a dagger.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
When he's fully distracted she attacks him, allowing Rin and Yukio to escape. Rin wants to stay behind but Shura won't allow it. He has to stick to the mission.
Tumblr media
Shura like Osceola is prepared to die. She told Mephisto once, that she'd keep Rin and Yukio safe no matter what. She meant it.
Unfortunately, Shura is exhausted. Asmodeus continues to inflict pain on her, ripping off her finger nails. He then threatens to torture her even more. The guy gets off on receiving and giving endless pain.
Luckily Osceola is still in rage beast mode. He causes a fissure to rip into the rock and Amon falls into it.
Tumblr media
Shura, still wanting to live. Stabs Fang into the rock and attempts to hold on. But Asmodeus threatens to pull her in.
Here's where it gets interesting. Yukio takes a potshot at Asmodeus's head and hits his target. He knocks the demon off of Shura and he falls into the bottom of the ravine.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yukio a few chapters ago, in the Amori Arc, doesn't admit to caring about Shura. He said he saved her to "complete his mission." This new and improved Yukio, saves Shura's life and goes against the parameters of the mission. And fucking finally!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Finally Yukio is admitting to caring about people. This is a big change.
We then head back over to Osceola. He is meets with Shura and now that his job is done. He is prepared to die.
Tumblr media
We get a flashback once again to young Lewin being raised by Osceola. And This entire tableau was a big relief to me. We know for sure now that Lewin, loves Assiah and wants to learn everything and be it's protector. It's beautiful how both of Lewin and the older exorcist gave each other meaning in life. Osceola pretty much believes Lewin to be a hero. The hero that saves Assiah (which was one of Lewin's secret goals. And that's where he got it from, his mentor.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And here's the thing, if you are not completely overwhelmed by how adorable young Lewin is, you must be a demon. He is as cute as a button.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the end we get this lovely scene of Osceola patting Shura on the head. He also died to save her, and comforts her.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It wasn't Shura's time yet.
Once again. Shura needs to live on.
What is odd though, she is all alone out there. The rest of the exorcists move on with the mission. She's all alone and Asmodeus is still trapped beneath the ice, and she's all out of power in her sword.
But I still think he'll be the demon in her sword. He has a thing about fingernails, just like Hachiro did. I wonder if she will reason with the prick under the ice?

The Interview Part 2 (Blue Exorcist Fanfic)
So, I've had a lot of folks wanting a follow up book to my first fanfic. So here it goes. This book travels ahead into the future 18 years. With Yukio, Shiemi and Lewin as the new Grigori and Shura and Rin as Arc Knights. Arthur is still the Paladin. Mephisto is still Mephisto. Lucifer is attempting to destroy with world, but he will be much more menacing. He is in the form of Homare Todo, and she is a tough customer.
Chapter #1
---------------- I opened my eyes and found myself in a familiar place. True Cross town, more specifically, Mephisto's Mansion.
I'd been at home one minute, and the next, I was here. Despite the demon's seductions, I hadn't left willingly, and I hadn't given in. But Mephisto wouldn't take no for an answer. And now I'm in his giant bed, surrounded by full-sized plushies, dressed in flannel pyjamas. At least he hadn't taken advantage of me. But of course, he hadn't; he acted under the guise of a gentleman.
Amaimon, my demon mate, wouldn't be mad that I was here. He knew I had to appease the Time King. Mephisto was higher in the demon hierarchy, and to deny him was unwise. What made things incredibly complex was that Mephisto is also my mate, but we've been apart for many years. His manipulations had been too much for me to bear, and we separated.
Mephisto was a polyamorous being and didn't confine his desires to monogamous relationships. He was also not the type of demon that preferred one sex over another. He was infinitely fluid and attracted to souls. Unfortunately, he found my soul impossible to resist, so I'm in my current predicament. I never had a chance to escape him.
Was it weird that I was the mate of two demon brothers? Well, yes, and no.
The Demon Kings treated themselves like siblings, but in reality, they were not blood relatives. All demons had materialized from Gehenna and were born from the stuff of Satan. Technically, under the same rules, all humans came from the same source material in Assiah. But humans don't consider all other humans siblings. The Demon kings only associated as family to others with equal power and prestige.
Yet, Mephisto and Amaimon were the closest of the Demon Kings.  At one point, they even lived together as uncle and nephew. It had been infinitely awkward that both had fallen for me. Demons didn't feel complex emotions and were fuelled by pure desire. Yet, as a hanyou, I absolutely did experience emotions. And I had enormous guilt.
My cell phone buzzed on the nightstand.
Amaimon: "When I got back, you were gone. Are you alright?"
Eve: "I didn't even get a chance to say goodbye, Amaimon!"
Amaimon: "He wasn't mean to you, was he?"
Eve: "He wasn't, but he also didn't listen."
Amaimon: "Well... brother is an asshole."
Eve: "I'm sorry about all of this."
Amaimon: "Listen, don't get all human on me. This will be fun. Promise."
I put down my phone with an exasperated sigh. Staring up at Mephisto's mirrored ceiling, I gaze at my reflection with nervous foreboding.
"Good morning,"
Belial, Mephisto's demon butler, entered the room. "I have brought you a quick breakfast. We must hurry. You are required to be at Vatican City for an interview."
"Listen, I don't even want to be here!" I jumped out of bed. "Mephisto stole me from my home!"
"I'm sorry, about all of that." Belial waved his hand, dressing me in a long, black trench coat. "But you cannot be late."
A portal opens on the floor, and despite my protests, Belial shoves me into it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I found myself in a cavernous hall with 60-foot buttressed ceilings. In front of me were heavy wooden double doors that were at least 20 feet tall and two burly guards. I stared at my hands, which were bound with delicate bracelets. I realized they were not jewelry but magic-cancelling handcuffs.
"What. The. Fuck." I snarled. "What the hell is this about!"
"Sir, Pheles," a guard whispered in a headset. "She's here, and she seems angry."
"Keep her detained." Mephisto's voice answered. "I will fetch her momentarily."
My demon-enhanced ears picked up the word detain, and I immediately backed away.
"I'm not a prisoner, am I?" I whispered.
"Of course not, lady." The one guard announced. "You are a guest of the Grigori."
"Great!" I answered nervously. "That means I can leave, right?!"
I turn to run and slam into something hard and obstinate—a solid wall of white.
"Why hello, Eve!"
His boisterous laugh caused me to groan inwardly.
"Don't be afraid! You are a person of great importance! You are the hero of Assiah!"
My face was planted in the middle of Arthur August Angel's broad chest. He spun me quickly and firmly wrapped an arm around my waist. Next, I felt the cold steel of Caliburn pressed tightly against my neck.
"Then why am I being treated as a hostile!"
"You are not hostile, my dear." He whispered into my ear. "You are just skittish. You are a kitty, after all!"
I looked up into his face with a scowl. He's smiling good-naturedly. He is just as handsome as ever, only now his pale blue eyes are lined with crow's feet. Honestly, age made him even more attractive and distinguished than before. His platinum hair was still thick and beautiful and impeccably groomed. But the man still lacked critical-thinking skills and blindly obeyed orders instead of questioning them.
"Angel, please let me go." I pleaded grumpily. "I don't work for True Cross anymore!"
"My dear, that is an understatement. You went AWOL." He affirmed. "It's not the same thing."
"So they waited all of these years to enforce the law?"
"We need you to help fight against Lucifer."
"Dammit!!! What if I don't want to?"
"I understand your hesitation, Eve." His voice softened. "Having Mephisto summon you must be so irritating. I find the demon annoying at the best of times. I fantasize about smiting him."
"He is my mate," I answer dourly.
"I know!" He laughed. "You've made such a terrible choice!"
"Yeah," I whispered. "But I still hate the way our separation went down."
"Eve, you are just as beautiful as I remember!" He winked. "Demons are polyamorous creatures, after all. You always have options. Remember that."
"Are you...hitting on me?"
Angel smiled and winked.
Just then, the double doors flung open with a bang, startling me.
"HAHA!" Angel laughed robustly. "Speak of the Devil."
Mephisto emerged and stalked toward me. He graced Angel with the most enormous shit-eating grin he could muster, but did I also detect a hint of anger? Did Mephisto hear Angel's words just now? But how could he? The walls were six feet thick!"
"Why are you holding a sword to Eve's neck?" He questioned with crossed arms. "She is our guest. Not a spy headed to the torture chamber."
"She was attempting to escape the Vatican; I was given strict orders."
"Yes, well," Mephisto grabbed my forearm firmly with his purple-gloved hand. "If some goon held a sword to my neck, the normal reaction would be to run."
"Goon? How insulting! I was keeping her safe from more dangerous people." Angel narrowed his eyes accusingly.
"Then perhaps I should be owing you thanks for keeping my wife safe." His voice dripped with fake pleasantries. "Come along, Eve. The Grigori awaits!"
Mephisto half-guided me, half-dragged me through the double doors. Angel and the guards followed closely behind. I had no chance of escaping, but that didn't stop me from struggling.
"LET ME GO!!!" I hissed with ire. "I can walk on my own."
"Then walk," Mephisto whispered tensely through a fake smile. "You are embarrassing me."
He released my arm abruptly, and I found myself under the glare of an impossibly bright light. As my eyes adjusted, that is when I saw them—the Grigori.
"Hello, Eve." A soft Texan accent voice addressed me. "Long time no see."
"Oh. Shit." I back away at the site of the man, only to feel two strong hands gripping my shoulders. One of them is Mephisto, and the other is Angel. I stare at them with mutiny.
"Sir, Pheles." Lightning chuckled wryly. "It appears your mate is unwillingly here. You must be losing your loving touch."
"I assure you there is nothing wrong with me." Mephisto laughed. "Maybe she's remembering the time you wanted to torture her."
"You mean that time you lied to me?" Lightning countered. "And left this poor innocent Neko vulnerable?"
"Since you can read any creature's aura, I assume you made the executive decision to kidnap Eve for ulterior motives..."
Mephisto and Lightning locked eyes with building menace.
"Enough, we're getting off topic."
A man dressed in Armumahel's dark robes interrupted. He was at least ten years younger than Lightning, in his mid-30s, and well-built. A streak of pure white ran through his wavy, chocolate-brown hair, which fell rakishly over one eye. The most identifiable thing was the eyepatch.
"Is that you, Mr. Okumura?"
"Just call me Yukio; there's no need for formalities," he assured. "You are amongst equals and friends here."
"Yes. The best of friends." The Shemihaza representative nodded. With a flourish of delicate hands, she pushed back her bejewelled hood, revealing Shiemi Moriyama.
"Shiemi." I sighed with relief. "Thank goodness. But where is Rin and Shura?"
"This was a meeting for the Grigori only. The Arc Knights were not required..." Lightning began.
"What the fuck is going on in here!!!" The double doors suddenly crashed open as if on cue. "Why wasn't I invited to this party? Who cares! I'm crashing it!"
A fiery redhead marched up the aisle and approached Angel and Mephisto. Behind her, another 30-something man with bright blue eyes and flaming indigo horns followed.
"And those would be the Arc Knights." Mephisto drawled with a secret smile. "How timely."
"Angel," Shura barked, pushing him back with a firm hand. "Give Eve some space. You big lout!"
Before I could utter a single word, Shura wrapped her arms around me like a protective mother bear, giving me a hug that nearly shattered my ribs.
"Are you okay?" She eventually released me, her hands now holding my face, studying it carefully.
"I've been worse." I smiled wanly. "It was a bit of an ordeal getting me here."
"Yeah." She smirked. "I bet it was."
"Mephisto was the absolute wrong person to send. I wouldn't have come ether. I would have assumed it was a trick." Rin folded his arms. "I should have gone instead, not this bastard."
"That's enough from you," Mephisto threatened. "She's here now, and we have much to discuss."
"Yeah, we do." Shura pulled an enormous wooden chair to the table with an ear-shattering squeak. "Have a seat, Eve. We'll tell you what we know."

Hi ! so I read your theory that Lewin is a double agent for Mephisto?! do you still think he is ? I mean you wrote that he can work for another one too!?
I wrote in previous theories that I thought that Lightning was a double-agent.
But I'm going to tweak that a little bit.
Lightning does whatever is best for Assiah.
If that means he as to act as a double, triple agent, or a straight up traitor. I'm sure he's game.
Even though Lightning is probably a demon or a super-powered Nephilium, he still cares about Assiah. Azazel chose to fight for humanity and so does Lightning, being his relation. Lewin keeps humans close to him to remind him about humanity, because often his demonic nature and lack of empathy peeks through. But Assiah is all he cares about.
That's why he's added Ryugi to his investigative team, to help him remember his place in the world. But when it comes to saving Assiah, Lightning will do whatever it takes to get results.
Lightning isn't dangerous to humans normally, but if you are lying to him. Look out.
Remember when he was torturing Misumi?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And the more I learn about Lightning, I realize that he is on his own side. He works for himself and nobody else, he is also the smartest person in the room, save for Mephisto.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Nobody bullshits Lightning. Lightning is only loyal to knowledge, and will do whatever it takes to get that knowledge.
He's an agent for Assiah, and will play whatever side that suits his objectives. He operates in a similar fashion as Mephisto.
Right now Lightning is an agent of the True Cross Order, but he's chasing the truth. The truth and origins of the illuminati, the culpability of True Cross and I believe his own origins. (That's Lewin's big secret. How the hell he came into being. He's trying to figure it out)
Mephisto is feeding him breadcrumbs of evidence to point him in the direction of True Cross's sordid past. In some ways True Cross is just as evil as the Illuminati. They were both once on the same side, and after the Blue Night they divided into two factions.
Both organizations have spies buried deeply within it. It stands to reason that there are people in both organizations that could either be loyal to True Cross or the Illuminati. Each organizations has troubling and evil tendencies. True Cross is guilty of cloning activities and demon torture, they had Neuhaus working with them and he was using zombies parts. Mephisto was the person that funded and oversaw all the horrific experiments. The Illuminati stole the science, and continued the research, adding human brainwashing and more enhanced zombies into the mix.
But Mephisto is hoping that Lewin will give him a pass on all of that horrific research, because he was trying to save the world. Mephisto will do whatever it takes.
Lightning doesn't trust Mephisto at all, but he realizes that Mephisto is trying to stop Lucifer from destroying Assiah which of course is the same goal of Lightning. He is unclear of exactly Mephisto's motives are but these two are a lot a like. They will do whatever it takes to save Assiah, and collateral damage may happen.
So, Lightning is willing to give Mephisto the benefit of the doubt, but at the same time he's going to keep an eye on him and all of his spies. Because Mephisto's admissions open up an entirely new can of worms. Mephisto, after all, is the guy opened up section 13 in the first place. (Lightning puts a Slyph Bell on Shima to track him.)
Tumblr media
Most people that were involved with section 13, were given a contract of Mornath. And they are not allowed to speak of the past. There aren't many of these people left. But Section 13 is the key to the origins of the Illuminati. Lewin needs as much info about that time period as possible.
The only person that remembers everything is Mephisto, he isn't bound by the Mornath contract. He was the demon that most likely made them all.
So Lightning will work with him, to a point.
He will also question him and vice versa. They both seem to be of equal intelligence, and are both incredibly tricky. Even though Lightning is absolutely an Azazel descendent, the guy seems to have a fuck ton of Mephisto DNA. I hope that Lightning finds out that truth as well.
Tumblr media
Lightning and Mephisto both find themselves on the same side, for now. And that side is on the side of Assiah.
So, do I still think he's a double-agent?
Maybe, but just to gather intel for his own purposes.
Lightning has started going rogue, disregarding True Cross. In the future, more of this will happen.

Sorry ! I have one more question …😅what did you mean by Lewin is more dangerous is that he doesn't feel the emotions himself; he feels emotions distantly like a demon? is he dangerous for humans ?
Hi there.
I don't think the Lewin is dangerous to most humans.
It all depends on the pureness of your heart, your honesty and your motivations. Lightning can see your spirit and soul at a glance. Luckily he's on the side of Assiah.
Lewin had a horrendous childhood, was chained in a basement and tortured. One thing that the blue Exorcist manga has taught us that demons that are treated without love and empathy become evil. Satan is a prime example of that. And this is why Mephisto is adamant that infant Rin is placed in his mother's arms, after his birth. That loving connection is very, very important.
Luckily, Lightning isn't Evil
He was saved and raised by Osceola Redarm. He boy learned respect and appreciation for humanity and Assiah because of Osceola's spirituality, positive mentorship and parental affection.
Okay, so now I've said it.
I think Lightning is a Demon King.
This guy has all the qualities of a Demon King.
1)He is exhausted after he uses his powers, and needs to rest. It makes him seem lazy, but he's more than likely just expended himself. That's why Lewin lets Angel do all the work, he's saving himself for battles that matter. This is exactly the way Mephisto operates, let others do the work and save your body.
2) When Lightning really calls on his powers, his chest glows like his demon heart is trying to escape.
Tumblr media
3) He also admitted to having stunted emotions, specifically empathy, which tracks with all the other demon kings, including Mephisto.
Is he the Demon King Azazel
The demon line of Azazel was extinct, as Azazel decided to leave Assiah. Yet, we have his kid that can call on the most powerful abilities of Azazel. If he isn't the reborn Azazel, he's a Nephilium. One that has somehow inherited enough power to rival the king himself.
Tumblr media
Is Lightning Dangerous? Yes and No.
It all depends if you are lying to him or not.
Lightning has the ability to read people's auras. He can sense a person's mental, spiritual and emotional well-being. He knows what a person is thinking, simply from a glance. This means he has the ability to predict what a person is going to do, just be gauging the weight of their spirit.
Mephisto attempts to do the same thing. He wants to know how people tick, he rewinds time and tests variables to see how a person reacts. It's a much more labour intensive process.
Lightning has the intuitive ability, he can read a person by talking to them, or even staring at them. He could tell Rin's aura at a glance. He can also instantly get a hot take on Yukio and Shima.
Tumblr media
Remember this conversation with Yukio. He doesn't help him with his eye, because Yukio doesn't want to be helped.
Tumblr media
This means Lightning in some ways is actually more powerful than Mephisto. He can predict the actions of humans much better. And as Mephisto comes to realize, humans can be unpredictable, which makes them so interesting. Even if Lightning's abilities aren't as flashy as Mephisto's, sometimes subtlety is a hell of a superpower.
Because Lightning is probably a demon, and has admitted to not feeling empathy, it makes him a dangerous interrogator for the Knights of the True Cross. He uses people's aura's against them as a valuable tool to get intel, among other things and remorse doesn't get into the way. We don't know if he can read the auras of demon kings, because of their stunted emotions, but who knows. Mephisto is considerably unbalanced around him.
Tumblr media
Lightning also has the ability to manipulate people, for good.
He manipulates Suguro, in a positive way. Lightning takes one look at Bon and realizes he's a genius. But Bon concedes that he lost his sense of vision and may not want to continue his exorcist training. He realizes that kicking Satan's ass and reuniting the Myoda isn't a valuable ambition. Times had changed and everyone had branched out walking their own paths. Bon's lack of purpose has left him confused and at a cross-roads.
In order to keep a gifted young exorcist in the True Cross program, Lightning tells Suguro what he wants to hear. He doesn't need a sad past or ambition to be a good exorcist.
Lightning can do this, because he can read Suguro like a book, and knows what Bon's aspirations, dreams and heart is like. To convince Bon, he doesn't hesitate to lie through his teeth. Lightning said his family wasn't dead, he had a great childhood and didn't have revenge or ambition in his heart. We know for a fact that Lightning had a horrific childhood and this was a lie. But because of this lie, Lightning get's Bon to be his apprentice, and gains a very intelligent researcher to help him on his missions and True Cross doesn't loose a talented exorcist in training.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
So, just to reiterate, I think Lightning could be dangerous to certain people.
Luckily he's on the side of Assiah.
But we're still learning about him.
The next Chapter will give us some valuable insights into the character.
And we find out if Osceola's love was enough to keep a demon good.

Hello!
Chapter 140 has been my Roman Empire. Do you have any theories that lead to that future. Rin is alone but powerful almost like carrying Yukio sadness. I have been reading your theories lately and I really like your takes especially about the twins having two fathers and the watermelon theories.
Chapter 140, is showing us a possible dystopian future.
One that might not happen.
Mephisto has been spending all of his time meddling in the timeline, trying to find ways to stop the end of the world. He's been attempting to create the perfect vessel for Satan or Lucifer. Once he is successful, the world will come back into balance.
Mephisto can't see the future past a certain point, he doesn't have all the answers yet, but he's stacking his deck with options.
The dystopian future is bleak. Rin is powerful, but sad and damaged. Like he's been alone a long time, or fighting against a new evil, which I think is The Knights of the True Cross. (Crazy, right?)
In the future Gehenna and Assiah merge.
True Cross is under the authority of Arthur August Angel, whom, as we know, hates demons. Under Arthur's leadership, humans and demons are segregated. Demons are kept away at all costs, and Arthur is no doubt, hunting demons.
This is a big mistake
We know, from various chapters, that demon suffering brings evil.
Demons simply want to feel all the pleasures humans feel without pain. It's the pain, and the mistreatment that's the problem. If demons could live alongside humanity pain-free, the anger and resentment would fade. Demons wouldn't be so dangerous.
And if humans chose to instead live and collaborate with demons, perhaps they could build bridges and share divine power. That's the direction Yuri and Lightning were going. They aren't heretics, but smart.
Demons with family, seem to be able to spread out their powers and have viable human vessels. That's a reason why Mephisto has the ability to live such a good life, being as strong as he is. It isn't just his Time powers that preserve him but he's got a human family out there. (Of course he keeps his kin and family in hiding, and it's a mystery that's yet to be unravelled.)
Back to the Future
The Future for Rin must have been traumatic. There is a complete separation of exorcist factions. But who separated?
Rin obviously must be on the side of demons, and I'm hoping he's with Lightning, Shura, and Mephisto. I hope he's not all alone.
On the True Cross side, we have Arthur August Angel. And I hate to say it, but I think Yukio would still choose to fight against demons and side with Angel. (We haven't seen it yet, but I predict it.)
Something bad might also happens to Shiemi which divides the brothers into hating each other. If Rin lost Shiemi, it would kill his soul.
Not the Real Future
I honestly don't think this is the future that will stick. If Mephisto finds the perfect vessel for Satan and one for Lucifer, and finds a way to bind their powers. It's possible to stop the dystopian future from ever happening.
He keeps rewinding the timeline looking for the answer that eludes him.
I still think Shiro is the somehow the key.
Now, Shiro is dead to us, but never dead to Mephisto. Mephisto sees Shiro over and over, when he revisits and tweaks the timeline.
If Shiro decided to become Satan's vessel during the blue night. Maybe Yuri wouldn't have to die, and maybe both Satan and Shiro could raise Rin and Yukio. It's a long-shot, I know. But when Satan possessed Shiro both times, the demon's powers didn't kill him. Shiro stabbed himself to rid his body of Satan. In some capacity, Shiro was able to control the possession and push Satan back. That's no small feat.
I also think that demons and certain humans are destined to pair up. Shiro and Satan were compatible physically, and very much alike personality wise. Shiro was just weak of spirit. He wasn't mature enough for the burden. As a matter of fact, Shiro's actions created death and suffering. Yuri tried to escape with Satan, but Shiro sold them out to the order. This started the chain-reaction that lead to the blue night and Yuri's death.
If Mephisto could somehow change the past, and convince Shiro. Rin and Yukio would have a very positive future. Yukio only had Shiro to raise him, and he desperately needed Yuri. The woman loved demons and would have passed that knowledge off to Yukio, creating empathy and understanding.
In the end, the terrible dystopian future isn't Rin or Yukio's fault. Neither of them are to blame.
Like Lightning said to Yukio a few chapters back; Children are not responsible for the mistakes of adults.
Shiro created this mess, and he should be the one to fix it.
He needs to step up sometime in the past and offer to be Satan's vessel.
---------------------------------------------
We still have the trouble with Lucifer. There are various possible vessels for him kicking around.
We have Arthur, but I don't think he'd be able to share his body with a demon. He's weak of spirit and hates demons. If Lucifer possessed Angel, the exorcist would die. (might happen)
We have Shiemi, whom like Arthur was a clone or hybrid of Lucifer that was powered from Shemihaza's crystal.
3. The Uzai stole Lucifer's old ashes after Shemihaza destroyed him during the blue night. The fact that they were meant to be sealed away, means that they might still be viable source material for a new vessel.
4). We have Homare Todo, who is potentially a demon-eater like her father. She's hanging out with Lucifer all the time, and has caught his temptaint. She's a viable vessel and she might have the strength of soul to control and bind him. Maybe make him happy?
5). We also have Nemu Takara, a kid that seems to not have a soul, but speaks through a puppet. Who the heck is that kid? Is he an empty shell being controlled by Mephisto?
Anyway, this is one of my theories on the future.
It could go in any direction. ;)

Mephisto ate that food whole, with one gulp, like a giant snake....or some other scary predator, pretending to be cute and human.
(Honestly only a demon masochist would swallow scalding hot food whole, and chomp a popsicle for the brain freeze.)
