To everyone whining for Tales from the Empire "Oh, I want to see Eli!" "seeing Faro would be cool!", step back, and think for a moment:
Do you really want Filoni getting ahold of more book characters?
The Hat Man can barely keep his own OCs straight, and tried to make Thrawn into a generic, 80s saturday morning cartoon villain! Why, exactly, is beyond me, considering they have THE BEST voice actor for that kind of character literally on speed dial! He really should have just made his own OC for Rebels, and left one of the few characters with any nuance in this franchise the hell alone!
The less said about the Ahsoka series, the better.
Eli, Faro, Pyrondi, all the Ascendency Chiss, Talon Karrde, Mara Jade -- he can keep his slimy claws off them!
Timothy Zahn is 1000 times the writer and creator that Felony will ever be! And if that means we only get to see his creations in books and comics, that's a price I'm willing to pay. Better that then to see them ruined.

Currently reading Thrawn Ascendancy, Chaos Rising by Timothy Zahn.
I have read tons of science fiction and fiction where the first person is an anthromorphised animal, but what hit home with Zahn's Thrawn series is that most of the narrative is from the point of view of the Chiss characters, who are sort of Human adjacent but very alien. Here two of the main characters discuss the Chiss' rather xenophobic take on other species.
#Mm—running with this scene#as inspire with OFC—who’s an advanced practice medic#serving in infirmaries/clinics to work with underserved/socio-economically challenged sentients on both sides the Wormhole#…and serves as the counter/juxtaposition to Thrawn in her experience with patients of all species#as the foundation of her own paradigm—seeing their ‘personhood’ first and foremost vs Thrawn’s view as other sentients as asset or enemy

Am I the only one who sees that similarity…and the persona from HotD…the old stories of Draculard capturing childhood Thrawn just so resemble young Aemond…)-oh well, here I reside in my kingdom of solitary internutz…and HighValerion sounds like Cheunh to me…
…wherein: After conjugal-matters have been fulfilled (hot Soxy time) between Ofc, and Thrawn, and their pillow-talk shifts to Thurfian’s current obsession with proving any educated Chiss/Cheunh speaker can adapt to the native Keltic tongue (Pretonic…a sort of neo-adapted Brythonic of the Keltiad sectors, from Earth that Was/ancient Terra—AU fusion of the Keltiad and Firefly-Serenity)—and master the Pretonic language’s complexities (envision a futuristic form of Welsh combined with a reviving of the archaic Celtic language)…and Thrawn mentions the hours Thurfian has spent with 3PO, in various language lessons trying to enunciate every syllable of the (historically) longest word of the Pretonic tongue still holding that place of honor in a far-future MilkyWay containing the Republic/Impetial quadrants…
