Marika Green, one of the stars of landmark erotic film Emmanuelle & aunt to Eva Green, told Fran Lebowitz in 1975 that Emmanuelle was now "a very chic & very expensive sapphic magazine. "OBVIOUSLY I had to investigate: Like the books & movies, it is not entirely sapphic, but there's plenty here for sapphics to enjoy. If there's one thing the French can be relied upon for, it's stylish porn.

I had sincere intentions to relaunch my second shop, which is just for vintage books & ephemera, but honestly? I have too much on my plate. So I figured I might as well let you have these sweet, sweet books & magazines right now.
Over the next several updates, expect vintage offerings from the 1950s-1990s. Subjects include pulp, erotica, occult & esoteric matters, music, art, & all things queer.

A little glimpse into my collection: Apart from the springbok horn, which I’ve somehow had since 2008, everything else is Victorian.

Not all examples of Victorian hairwork are memorials, but this one is.
This shadow box was made in memory of a little girl who died in 1884 at age 5 and contains a tiny floral bouquet woven from her hair. It was likely made by her mother.

There’s pretty much only one good spot in my house for taking photos, so every time I have to photograph a shop update, my room turns into a fucking mess. But at least the mess is pretty.
