im so insane about trans mac rn like... him being a stealth trans guy from super young, and the only reason he was allowed to was because luther thought it better to have a "half son" than a daughter... charlie being the only one who knew for a while and paid for surgery out of his savings in roller rink episode..... mac not letting himself be gay because his dad wants a son, but not a gay son... mac being transphobic to carmen because she's not insecure about her identity and that threatens mac, who's incredibly insecure about it.... he's the most verbally sexist out of the gang because of all his internalised gender battles..... he has body dysmorphia with his weight and build because it's displaced from his gender dysphoria pre surgery.... he associated being scary to people when overweight as being masculine, which is why he was so comfortable being that build... it was gender euphoria.... all his dysmorphia is around wanting to be muscular or "big" which he associates with masculinity, and hates being small, which he associated with femininity.... he could only come out to his dad once he was super ripped because he felt the need to present as super masculine to earn being gay to him, considering their history regarding mac's gender...... hello.......
