I've been following your art for a while and have always wondered if the stylistic choices you make, as in making the characters not as aesthetically appealing (designs aside) is intentional to make some kind of commentary? Face shapes, proportions, features not being in total harmony. It's interesting.

It's funny because I don't find how I draw characters unharmonious or not aesthetically appealing really at all 🤔 Although I think I know what you mean!

The only sort of commentary I guess I'm making is that I just want to see more bodies presented as beautiful (outside the standard of thin, white, and/or hairless) so I just draw those more to see them more! And I started doing that to feel more comfortable with my own body and it's been good! ^ w ^ It's something I think resonates with a lot of people, so I'm grateful! 🙏💖💖💖

As far as proportions go (especially since I know I draw characters with a smaller head and larger bodies and hands proportionally), it's not something I notice until later/it's pointed out to me! I used to get really embarrassed (and sometimes still do, honestly 😂) but I've learned to just lean into it! I have my own standard of when a head looks "just right" for me, but it tends to still fall to the smaller side comparatively to more "typical" proportions! That's not so much a commentary but just something I've done for a long time - sometimes I wonder if it's because I feel like my own body's proportions line up with this? Because my head is smaller in comparison to the rest of my body? 🤔 But I still have trouble finding hats that fit?? 🤔🤔🤔 Mysteries! ✨

Anyways! I'm not sure what other ways my stuff is particularly unharmonious because I just don't personally see it that way! But I'm really glad that you find it interesting and have been following for a while! So thank you! 🥳🙏💖 I hope I could shed a little insight onto your question here though! 💕

I do have a toyhouse! I keep forgetting about it and I feel like I'm still not 100% clear with how everything works there! @ w @;;
