AI companies are acquiring content across the internet for a variety of purposes in all sorts of ways. There are currently very few regulations giving individuals control over how their content is used by AI platforms. Proposed regulations around the world, like the European Union’s AI Act, would give individuals more control over whether and how their content is utilized by this emerging technology. We support this right regardless of geographic location, so we’re releasing a toggle to opt out of sharing content from your public blogs with third parties, including AI platforms that use this content for model training. We’re also working with partners to ensure you have as much control as possible regarding what content is used.

Here are the important details:

We already discourage AI crawlers from gathering content from Tumblr and will continue to do so, save for those with which we partner. 

We want to represent all of you on Tumblr and ensure that protections are in place for how your content is used. We are committed to making sure our partners respect those decisions.

To opt out of sharing your public blogs’ content with third parties, visit each of your public blogs’ blog settings via the web interface and toggle on the “Prevent third-party sharing” option.

sometimes i like to think that one day Anya meets Yor’s coworkers and they think she’s absolutely adorable and always beg Yor to bring her to the office to play with them during breaks; Yor is happy that Anya is getting the attention she deserves - and it makes her happy seeing her friends think how cute her daughter is. ❤️

I think the scientists trained themselves to *think* in esoteric and classical languages around Anya to keep her from understanding their thoughts.

I honestly don't understand how the classical language relates to Anya's past, I mean, did scientists speak that language? Was it the way they wrote? Furthermore, it is supposed to be a dead language, it no longer exists, so why would some scientists continue using that language? Was it so that other people wouldn't be able to understand their plans? Is it because they are a small group that still speaks that dead language?

And most important of all, shouldn't these scientists be looking for Anya? Since she is a very necessary weapon created by them, they should be looking for her. Unless something happened in the lab and everyone is dead or imprisoned idk

I don't understand but it's clear from today's episode that Loid is already beginning to suspect Anya's past and I'm afraid of how far that suspicion will go.

I wonder if the reason Anya had trouble reading Demitrius was because she can only read internal monologue thoughts, and he just happened to be the first person she encountered who doesn't have that trait.

rich people be losing theoretical money and making it our problem. like imagine anyone not wealthy being like "this is how much money I thought I would be making and since I'm not, I'm taking it from someone who needs it way more than me" and then we call it inflation or rising costs of living

and also recognize that voting for Democrats is extremely important because it allows things like the confirmation of Justices and prevents the literal fascist party from gaining more power and that harm reduction is an important end in itself

Hell yeah the US just gave like 8 billion dollars in funding to intercity passenger rail. Including some HIGH SPEED RAIL?!?!?!??

can't overstate how massive this is, i used to work in rail and US trains were so pitifully underfunded that my employer wouldn't even bid on those projects because it wasn't worth the time. This is actually putting us on the level of other countries that invest in transportation as a public service??? And 8 billion? Like this could actually really make some massive change.

Today's episode of Re: Dracula just reminds me that one of the reasons I hate the Coppola adaptation so much is that it so thoroughly butchers the characters so much, and yet it is the only one that actually features Quincey as an individual character. Why are there so many filmmakers who just fail to realize how much more awesome their Dracula adaptations would be if they actually included an American cowboy?
