I'm sorry if this has already been asked, and if so you can ignore this, but what project were Finn and Astaria for? If you can say.
Those were tests I did while I was working on a project for BlueSky studios. There were small mentions of it at the time when it was called "Superfan" or "Foster". Unfortunately, the project probably went down with the studio, which is why I feel pretty safe sharing my work I did on it.
It's wonderful seeing your process. I've been a big fan of some of the Bob's Burgers backgrounds, too. There's been amazing lighting and colour in recent episodes.
Thank you! I agree. Both Great North and Bob's have been killing it with the backgrounds and environment design.
Since Bob's Burgers has been silent for a while, I figured I'd share some more of my Bob's animation . This was the first shot I called "I want that shot!" of the season. Really wanted to go for some GOOPY fx . I definitely had fun with these shots.
I wanted to get the body mechanics right for when Linda snatches up Louise to get her to safety. My fellow animator friend Scott and his daughter were kind enough to do some #videoref for me. Always thankful to have such talented actors to help when I need it.
Personal news today! It's been over 20 years since my last tattoo. Working for Bento Box has been such a turning point in my career that I wanted to memorialize it. I couldn't be happier with Joe Murphy's work at Nerdy Visions Gallery. If you're looking for a phenomenal tattoo in the NE area, I highly recommend Joe.
Wishing you all a happy year of the dragon this #AniMonday!
What could be more fitting for lunar new year than a little logo animation test I did for Nimona . The Amazing Aidan Sugano designed the cool curly dragon logo.
